We also have 4 BIG PIG that love ear scratches. We offer farm tours!!! There are livestock guardian dogs that protect the farm. They sleep lots during the day and patrol at night so they bark lots at night... We are a REAL WORKING FARM. You can join in on morning feeding or collet eggs. You can watch or help with morning milking! If you are real adventurous you can help around the farm!!! You can pitch you tent in the pine forest or in the open area next to the ponds! I am offering short-term rentals of my houseboat this season. It is located on the Apalachicola River, about 1 mile upstream of Neal Landing near Blountstown, and is only accessible by motorboat or paddle vessel. The houseboat is in a fixed location and does not move. It is furnished with two beds, a futon, and a loft for extra sleeping space, and there is a generator for power. This is a primitive camp, not a luxury resort stay. You must bring gasoline for the generator if you want power. The beds have hygienic mattress covers, but you should bring your own sleeping bag and pillow cover. You can relieve yourself at the boat ramp porta-potty (~1 mile away) or in the composting camp toilet out back. You must bring bottled drinking water or a Sawyer filter for river water. There is a propane stove/oven, a charcoal grill, and a fire pit out front if you bring wood or collect it. An outside propane instant hot water heater with a shower head and privacy screen is available if you need to get clean and don’t want to hop in the river. My goal is to offer a unique experience and provide a code to the door for the agreed time frame, not to provide every convenience. I would charge more for each stay if that were the case because it would be a real challenge for me to get to the houseboat and keep it stocked. If you come prepared for a camping trip, you will have a great time; if you come with nothing, you probably will not. This is my first time renting it out, so all the logistics are not fully sorted yet. I’m willing to talk with potential guests to see if we can work something out if additional amenities or comforts are required. This is an awesome camp for a hunting or fishing weekend, with enough room for a few friends to relax and enjoy some beers in the evening. This is not a random cash-grab rental property. This is my personal camp retreat, and I only want to share it with people who will be respectful of it and the river. More photos coming soon.

We love this property and the lake is great. Nearby are good stores and bait shops and the neighbors are quiet and respectful. We just spent a week here and how relaxing. Our dogs love it too. The lot is shaded most of the time and the deck is awesome.

I've stayed here twice now and I will say under the new management it is a complete 180 from last time. The park is actually kept up with. They were having a farmers market when we showed up. It is super quiet and priced fair. Only issue is they double booked my spot but they had it taken care of within minutes.

I loved the property. The lot is mostly shaded and the dock/deck is wonderful. It was quiet and semi private. Remember to bring a four wheel drive and at least 30' of water hose with a filter (city water) if you plan to drink. Jennifer was awesome and checked in on me at least twice. Weekend Trip to Moonpie Farm and Creamery

This was our first Hipcamp stay and it was wonderful! We were the only ones there and Elizabeth was very warm and welcoming. We got to watch her milk the cows and she introduced us to all of her farm animals. There was lots to explore and my kids had a blast. Site was easy to get in and out of and we would definitely stay again. We got to visit Elizabeth’s farm store and I can’t wait to try some of the goodies we purchased. I appreciated how knowledgeable Elizabeth is and how much information she was willing to share. I took home some tips to help with hatching chicken eggs and I even told my husband that I want to be like her one day!

1 night at Moonpie Farm and Creamery

Cool little farm with all kinds of animals. If you aren't aware farm birds (guinea fowl, chickens and geese) do make noise so don't be surprised by that. The campsite was nice and fairly secluded in a small stand of trees. The animals were all very friendly especially the livestock guardian dogs who roamed the property all day and night. I definitely recommend sampling their dairy goods. The yogurt was so delicious. I should have bought more bc me and my daughter kept fighting for the "next bite". I didn't try the other dairy products but they had to be just as good. The only suggestion would be a pair of ear plugs if you're tent camping as the interstate is very close by and traffic noise can be heard all night. I doubt rv campers would be bothered. Regardless I highly recommend this campground.

4 nights at Twin Pines Lakeside RV

What a fantastic spot to recharge away from the hustle and bustle. Our dogs had the best time exploring the woods and running around in the fresh grass. We felt we had our own little slice of nature and didn’t see a single person, despite being a neighborhood of sorts. The homes are very well spread out. The site had all the amenities we needed and we really appreciated having the cover to park under as we got a lot of rain one night. The only thing that is a bit tricky is decline into the space, but we managed with a 32ft class C and tow dolly. The tree swing looked straight out of a movie. We would 10/10 return.

Great place for a nice lake getaway-great site, the dock is awesome! Fairly easy access for kayaking and swimming. Great Host. We highly recommend
