Resting on just 1/10th of an acre, this 1957 mid-century modern home hosts over 80 different species of fruiting tree and shrub. With the goal of blending natural beauty and innovative design, it's an ever-evolving space that is both inviting and surprising. These friendly, curious, and fearless little marauders are guaranteed to make your acquaintance, and if you're not looking, invite themselves to share your breakfast. They free roam the yard during daylight hours, so please help us keep all gates shut to prevent them from going on an unscheduled field trip. They will also leave "landmines" on the pathways, so be sure to watch your step. We do our best to keep everything clean and tidy, but chickens abhor tidiness. And will go out of their way to unleash chaos at every turn. Still, we love the little bird brains and they are an entertaining addition to the grounds. They're also the reason we ask that all pets, and children under 12, be left at home. We thank you for your understanding and help in preserving the safety of our flock, and as thanks, please help yourself to any fresh eggs in the chicken coop. This is only a brief description, there's so much more to see on-site, but you'll also want to make your way out into the city (15 minute drive) for some of the unique flair St Pete is known for. Check out the Salvadore Dali museum and see his famous surrealist paintings. Visit some of the best beaches in the country, like St Pete Beach (15 minutes drive due West). Wander the Fort Desoto historical park area. Or Stop by the Morean Arts Center and see live glass blowing demonstrations, or just walk along Central Ave to soak up the cool vibe and rich city art scene. Complete with murals, sculptures, and a pier scene that's not to be missed.

Not all campsites have water views, from the units, but none are more than 30 feet to the water…

We have partnered with Steinhatchee Paddlers Kayaks & Hobies so if you prefer a trip down the Steinhatchee River, Captain Bob Miller has everything you need for a relaxing day.
We offer three Amish built log cabins at our RV Campground. Fisherman and Hunter's Cabin has a one bedroom with queen size bed and a set of bunk beds in the living area. They sleep up to four people. Two burner stove top, full size microwave and refrigerator. Full size bathroom with large walk-in shower.
The Gator Hut offers a queen bed with a bunk bed over and sleeps up to three people.
All the cabins are fully furnished with towels and linens as well as dishes, cooking utensils and coffee pot, smart TV with cable tv and Wi-Fi is included. The Campground is fenced and gated and we are pet friendly. There is a laundry facility on site for the guests. There is a fire pit if you want to relax. In the summer we have a stock tank pool (opens in April) to cool off after a long day on the water.
Steinhatchee is located in Taylor County Florida along the Gulf of America. Inshore and offshore fishing is year-round. Scallop season is June 15 to Labor Day. More than 20 springs are located within 45 minutes of Steinhatchee. Too numerous to count are the Florida Wildlife Management areas that are accessible by car and allow for bird watching and animal siting of deer and wild boar. Steinhatchee River is a kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding experience. The local restaurants/Marinas are within five minutes of the campground. Live music is available at the restaurants.

Everything I hoped for in a micro-farm stay—and more! The tiny house is incredibly well laid out and had everything I needed. It feels cozy and thoughtfully designed without feeling cramped at all. I had such a good night’s sleep in the super cozy bed!
The property itself is beautiful and clearly has so much thought and care put into it. I especially loved learning about the micro farm and watching the chickens—it’s such a peaceful little oasis. The location is also the perfect balance: tucked into a quiet neighborhood close to parks and walking trails, but only about 10 minutes from downtown St. Pete. You get the feeling of being surrounded by nature while still having easy access to everything in town. I would absolutely stay again!

The accommodations were awesome. I chose the tiny house, which was a win. It's cozy, super comfortable, and laid out really well. In addition, it looks out on the flock of cute chickens. Endless entertainment.
The hosts, Bill & Steph are so great. Not only are they friendly, the gave me the best recommendations for cool local spots. FYI, if you like wings and don't hit Mullets, you're doing yourself a disservice.
My schedule didn't allow me to extend, but I found out that Bill was hosting a fire handling workshop shortly after I left! This place is so cool! I'm definitely coming back for one of those sessions.
Long story short, my experience here was exceptional. 5 stars. Would definitely recommend.

The cabin / camper was spotless and had everything that we needed for our stay there.
It was very clean and comfortable. Jamie and Bolton are excellent hosts. We had a cookout on Saturday. Every night Jamie made a campfire.
Everyone there was very friendly.
We also enjoyed exploring Sebring. Downtown Sebring has restaurants, coffee shops etc.
We also went to a flea market and a farmer’s market on Saturday.
If you like hiking there’s Highlands Hammock State Park. There’s also a great CCC museum at the State Park.
We’ll definitely be going back to JB Resort!

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful property while celebrating our 4-year anniversary. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, and the hosts were exceptional.
The only thing worth noting is that the property is near a busy road, so the traffic noise can be heard at times. That said, it was not a major issue and was easy to ignore.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it for a romantic getaway.

My second time staying here and we were the only ones there. It was so nice and relaxing. W rented the camper trailer and totally enjoyed it. Even went out to an early dinner with the owners on Saturday and met some local friends of theirs. The hosts were very hospitable a well.

This place was absolutely magical! It was so peaceful and relaxing and you can truly be your freest self here. I highly recommend getting a chef prepared dinner it was absolutely delicious! We cannot wait to come back!

Our stay at Kokomo Farms was wonderful. The farm was lovely, the hosts were hospitable and friendly, and the animals we interacted with were great as well. If I'm in the area I will stay here again and highly recommend you do if you're in the area as well.

Weekend Trip to The Bougainvillea Glamping Tent
Very nice clamping covered tent tucked away in a secluded area of the property. The accommodations were nice and the lighted deck set a great mood. We even saw a deer run through, and a few bunnies. Very clean and well kept place and the hosts were inviting.

Weekend Trip to JB Resort
My partner Ray and I loved staying in the “cabin” camper. Everything was immaculate and all the comforts if home.
All the other campers were really nice and fun.
We enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
Jaime and Bolton are excellent hosts and keep the campground in excellent condition.
We’ll definitely be returning!

3 nights at Kokomo Farms
What a lovely escape. I stayed at Trudy and Greg’s eclectic rescue farm in the colorful tiny house accompanied by all the chickens and roosters that provide the fresh eggs for breakfast and your alarm clock in the morning. They made it very welcoming and the inside was cozy, cold a/c, a frig, and tv …with a full bathroom that I appreciated as a “glamper.”
The animals were a highlight! Shin their pup could chase a ball forever and he was a delight. Ms Calico came for dinner every night. The horses loved extra treats as well.
They try to make your experience one to remember with a painting station under the big oaks and the star gazing is something you have to do! Walk the trails at sunset and enjoy a roasted marshmallow by the evening fire.
