Our 20 acre ranch has everything from Longhorn cattle, to a white sand beach. We like to say our sand is like Siesta Key, except it's...in a swamp. Our property is not too far upstream from the Myakka State park, and parking is never a problem. ;-)
We have a beautiful homestead, and you have the choice of a furnished camper with water and power hookups in our pasture, or 2 primative tent or RV spots on the edge of a beautiful stand of Live Oak trees and Sabal palms along the river.
We have a porta potty on site that is regularly maintained.

I loved camping at Becca and Kary’s spot, this is now my favorite camping place yet! I loved how quiet it was and serene- it felt like I was the only one there. My dog loved being able to swim in the river. Lots of time spent riverside sunbathing and reading. The porta potty was clean and convenient. The only sounds to be heard were birds and night sounds mostly, I did hear some moo’ing and a dog barking a little bit but it didn’t bother me at all… the whole weekend was SO PEACEFUL. I didn’t want to leave.

We loved our stay at Rebecca and Kary's place. So peaceful, dark nights for stargazing. Kayaking on the head of the mighty Myakka was serene. The porta-potty was clean and firewood was supplied by their son. We will definitely be back.

Becky is a wonderful host.
The camping spot is right next to the river and the beauty and peace of the surroundings nuture your soul.
A great spot for a quick swim as well.
We were also entertained by otters and other wildlife at the end of the day before sunset.
