Laurel Ridge Farm is Litchfield's largest estate, a working grass-fed beef farm, and the site of a well-loved tourist attraction that appears every spring: the Laurel Ridge Daffodils. Guests will have access to a large, flat pasture with easy road access—an open field of about 50 acres where you can roam freely. We do not grant access to the entire property because it is a working farm with livestock and farm dogs, but the guest-accessible field is grand and gorgeous. The property is a secluded suburban home with a large parking pad that has been set up to host 2-3 large rvs. This includes 30/50 amp electric, water, sewer, and Wifi. Aside from the parking pad there is no access to the rest of the property or amenities.. the main attraction here is the central location for rv’ers looking for long term stays at a full hook up site in Long Island since there arent any options in this area.

Weekend Trip to Hudson Valley Farm Escape

We loved camping at the Hudson Valley Farm! It is impossible to overstate how stunning Allison's property is. The sunset view, stars, and colorful foliage over the rolling hills were so beautiful, we could not get over it or stop taking photos! The Secluded Pondside campsite felt private and peaceful, and the fence nearby provided helpful wind protection during an overnight storm. The site is a short walk from the parking spot, so not quite drive up (though the pond site is drive up, fyi) -- be prepared to carry things back and forth from the site, or ask to borrow a wheelbarrow, which made it super easy. It was great to have access to running water by the parking for doing dishes, and a clean half bathroom (with hot water!) a short walk up the hill in the barn. Our hosts were warm, welcoming, generous, and very responsive to messages. Could not recommend this spot more, especially in fall but I imagine it's completely gorgeous year round.
