Cabin was very quaint and beautiful. Located in a very quiet area where we could just disconnect from everything for a few nights. It was exactly what we needed. Deer came right down to the Lodge, plenty of creature comforts in the kitchen, jacuzzi tub, hot tub, with wifi and central heat. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Trailhead on site for a good hike, or another right across the hwy. King Suite was spacious, check in was easy, be ready for an extra deposit fee.

You get the feeling of camping in nature, but with clean facilities, hot showers, and a friendly staff that actually cares about your stay. The tent sites are spaced out perfectly—private enough to feel like you’re on your own adventure, but close enough to walk to amenities. Waking up to the sound of the creek and the cool morning air was the best way to start the day. Trails are right next to the lodge, so I was able to hike straight from my campsite without ever getting in my car. The staff deserves special mention. They were welcoming, knowledgeable about the area, and gave genuinely helpful tips for hikes, food, and local spots. The community vibe around the lodge, especially in the evening, made the experience even better—quiet when you want rest, relaxed when you feel social. If you’re looking for a tent camping spot that balances nature, comfort, and adventure, A-Lodge is the place. I’ll definitely be coming back.

My family and I really enjoyed camping at Dot and Byron's boondocking site. I have a 24 ft. travel trailer which fit nicely in their spot. The area is beautiful to say the least. Dot and Byron were very hospitable and very helpful in many ways to include providing information on the area and helping me get my camper in place. It was quiet and peaceful even with other guests on site. Initially, the proximity of the workshop and permanent trailer was slightly off putting but with all the goodness that feeling faded fast. We had a great time and I felt relaxed there.

Jessica’s treehouse was very quaint and cozy. It was raining when we got there and in the nighttime it snowed! We kept warm ! Heating up the treehouse and then piled in the blankets. It was a great 68th birthday! The candles were so fun and the chairs comfortable. We strolled around town on a foggy day. Hiking st Caribou ranch was spectacular and golden.

Great if your'e in a self contained rig. No hook ups or amenities, but very cheap, flat, and close to the mountains. Very quiet, lots of prairie dogs and rabbits. Ground did get a little muddy after 2 days straight of rain, but wasn't as bad as it could have been. Communication was pretty minimal, which is no problem for me. Host gave me a dozen eggs i assume they farmed. They had a spigot and a dumpster, but no electric plugins or sewer.
