Daily summer temperatures average 65 degrees, and it will get down into the 50's at night. That's perfect camping weather! For native American tribes, including the Utes, Apache, Navajos, and others, this valley is considered the source of life, a place where humans and spirit enter and leave this world. The valley was considered so sacred, that no war would be waged here. PR Ranch is nestled in a beautiful canyon with historic aspen groves and an absolutely ideal river for fly fishing. We stayed for 2 nights at the cabin and enjoyed the front porch, living room, and well equipped kitchen (including multiple outdoor grills). But, what really made our stay special was the hospitality of Jim and Melony. The are so warm and welcoming, giving us insight about the valley and activities in the area. This is a special place that we plan on returning to. I give it my highest recommendation.

This was my third time staying at Taos Goji but my first time booking a cabin there through hip camp. Easy booking process/check-in and a comfortable cabin. Always a lovely and charming place to stay.

Weekend Trip to Great Sand Dunes Desert Escape

Awesome location with plenty of hiking trails and great views! It was very windy the weekend we stayed, but we set up camp in the creek and barely noticed. We would definitely like to come back.

Per a recommendation from the host, we went to the Black Rock Hotspring at sunrise.

Weekend Trip to Taos Goji Farm & Eco Lodge

The Taos Goji property truly makes this Hipcamp worth it. There are several community spaces, including two soaking tubs and a sauna, which made our trip. The cabin itself was just enough for comfort. My partner and I were able to cook a meal, though we would recommend bringing your own spices, and enjoyed a cozy evening of soaking in the hot tub and hot veggies. The space is heated through several different elements, and the caretaker was quick to assist us when we got cold. In general, the investment for the duplex cabin seems steep, but if you are able to take time out of your travels to enjoy the property and it's amenities, it quickly holds generous value.
