Tent camp, park your RV or stay in the glamping log cabin that sleeps 4 on this 35 acre private property. The cabin has electricity and a wood burning stove for cold nights but is a dry cabin. There is a pump outside the cabin for water and a vault toilet. Bring your horses, bikes ATV's or hiking shoes to explore trails in the Wet Mountains one mile from your site. The town of Westcliffe is 14 miles away with more trails in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and is a National Dark Sky Community. 

The Nomad Ranch

About a half mile off Highway 69 and two miles outside the tiny town of Gardner, this is the perfect retreat if you are looking for fantastic views of the Sangre de Cristos, Spanish Peaks, and Wet Mountains. Our property is close to hiking, a wolf preserve, Bishop's Castle, thousands of acres of national forest, over 800 miles of dirt roads (with jeep and ATV trails), and within 40 minutes to one of the most quaint and best kept secret towns in Colorado, Westcliffe. 

We are about 30 minutes northwest of Walsenburg, CO and about 40 minutes southeast of Westcliffe, CO.

Maximum RV  length is 30 ft. No hookups are provided for RVs so please plan to be self contained during your stay. We also offer a small dry cabin (no running water or electricity) which is perfect for those looking to not get quite as close with nature. We also offer tent camping!

Our cabin is located on a scenic byway within the San Isabel National Forest at an altitude of 8600 ft. It is next to Lake Isabel where kayaking and fishing are popular in the Summer and Ice fishing snowshoeing and tubing in the Winter. You can explore nearby Bishop's Castle as well as enjoy hiking, bicycling or riding on one of the many trails. Wildlife viewing in the area is also plentiful. You’ll love our cabin because it provides the privacy and solitude of nature with the comforts of home.Learn more about this land:Modern cabin across from lake Isabel. This is a fairly new mountain home within the National Forest. There are three levels that can accommodate 4 guests comfortably in its 2 bedrooms, 1 and 1/2 baths and living area. There is also a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and all the needed utensils. We have DirecTV,  wifi and a landline phone available.

Of course we had to sip some wine out on the little balcony.

Sunrise at Lake Isabel just nearby is a must-see.

Upstairs/loft bedroom with connecting 1/2 bath and space for provided air mattresses out of frame.

Shamrock Ranch

Welcome to Shamrock Ranch.  We are a small ranch with chickens, turkeys, goats, guinnies, dogs and cats.  Animals are accepted but must be on leash, because we have a lot of animals free ranging.  

 No Drugs or alcohol on property. 

Every guest is welcome to eggs while they are staying. 
Electric is available for a small fee.
There is plenty of room for Vehicle camping.  
The surrounding land is Desert like with cactus and dirt.

Sunshine Mountain is a shared 7.5 acre property which includes the RV spot, a vacation rental and host’s home. Back portion of the property is a wooded hiking trail for all guests to enjoy.  It is located in the historic Ute Pass region. The property was once owned by Ute Indians who later sold it, at which time it became a Hippie camp and later a family home/ranch. We can’t wait to meet you and help you have the true Colorado experience. You will love the country feel while being walking distance to Woodland Park and have the amenities of 50 amp electric, WiFi, water (not for drinking), picnic table, chairs, mini grill, hammock, gray water dump at site, propane fire pit (guests bring their own propane) and access to black water dump if needed. $15 black dump fee for bookings less than 1 week, otherwise 1 free black water dump per week. Pets must be on a leash at all times and pets and children are never to be left unattended for any period of time.

Welcome to MTNMN Ranch! We are only 9 Miles from Royal Gorge access and have a creek on the property. While staying with us you can enjoy

horseback riding, hiking and fishing within 5 minutes from the site. Our property is always gated and secure.

Our sites are best suited for RV or van campers and feature large and level parking areas. We also offer 110 electrical hookup with a maximum vehicle length of 50 ft. Potable water and trash bins are also available there are no direct hook ups for 30 am electric or potable water but we have water access just not a direct hook up.
