Had the BEST time tent camping here over the weekend! The staff onsite was friendly and helpful. The sites and bathrooms were clean and well managed. This was a great site! I was worried about being on the north rim of Black Canyon because the “main” stuff is on the south rim but IT WAS SO GREAT! We did the south rim the day before and hit the North Rim morning after (views are 10x better!!) Definitely recommend Tater’s campground, so clean, so comfortable, so serene. Star gazing, stunning views, seclusion, and sweet pets 🩵 Traci + Chris have done a wonderful job.

Kent is a fabulous host! His property is ideal for a peaceful, Paonia location. Plenty of room to spread out with a privacy fence between the main residence, and neighbors. Also an easy half block walk to Paonia Park, and six blocks to Paonia's central location. Walk to the grocery store, cocktail lounges and restaurants. I'm looking forward to staying here again.

Ha They were both super nice and provided every possible thing you could want while camping. We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Tater’s. Chris is a helpful and friendly host and we enjoyed chatting with him and meeting Tater, Sugi and Otis. The view of the nearby mountains was amazing, especially at sunset and the dark sky allowed for wonderful stargazing. The bathhouse with showers was a short walk from the campsite and it is kept clean. We had everything we needed for a relaxing visit while exploring the north rim of Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.

Lovely little glamping setup. Wood stove kept us plenty warm, bed was comfy and there was plenty of cooking kit, what's not to love? Bonus - got to meet the hosts golden retriever and give him a pat :) Thanks!

This was our second time camping at tent site 5, and it was amazing both times! Right on the river so we could hear the water running all night, which helped drown out the noise of the road. The only downside was they removed the Porta potty, but otherwise we will be back for sure!
