We are at the dead end of the road, and the property abuts National Forest with trails for miles and incredible views of nearby peaks. We have three dogs who you may hear occasionally, but who live in their own fenced yard attached to the main house. Though we live on the property, the tiny house is your own private space and we'll respect your privacy during your stay. Neighboring houses are visible from the property in one direction. The other direction all that can be seen is trees, mountains and sky. There is space to pitch a tent next to the tiny house for additional hipcampers. Please note, we sit at about 8600' elevation which means in the summer you can enjoy a good 10-15 degree temperature drop from the flatlands. Ahhh. In the winter, it will also typically be colder and snowier. Be prepared for the altitude and be sure to hydrate (and consider drinking less alcohol than you normally tolerate) so you can remain healthy and enjoy your stay.

We live on 6.5 acres of stunning forested land located 1000 feet above downtown Boulder. Our property rests on a peninsula with views of the white-capped peaks to the west and the city lights to the east. The property feels far away from the bustle of city life, yet it is only an EIGHT-MINUTE drive to the heart of downtown Boulder's historic shopping district and ten minutes from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Vista Tranquila, the name given to our property by its previous owners, has trails to meander, picnic tables, horseshoes, swings hanging from the trees, a competitive-level trampoline, benches with views, and hammocks. The communal food prep area has a gas grill, a table for food prep, and a seating area. We request that guests pack out all trash. Since we do not provide stoves, pans, utensils, or cleanup facilities, please bring paper towels to wipe off your stoves, pans, dishes, and utensils. A well-maintained portable flush toilet is provided in a tall tent near the main residence. A spigot can be found with fresh well water on the back side of the main residence. The communal food prep area has a gas grill, a table for food prep, and a seating area. We request that guests pack out all trash. Since we do not provide stoves, pans, utensils, or cleanup facilities, please bring paper towels to wipe off your stoves, pans, dishes, and utensils. A well-maintained portable flush toilet is provided in a tall tent near the main residence. A spigot can be found with fresh well water on the back side of the main residence. We do not offer showers. However, the Boulder Recreation Center (a 10-minute drive) offers showers and other facilities for a small fee. You can enjoy a historic mining town experience with fine dining and live bluegrass/ folk music at the town of Gold Hill which is less than 20 minutes up our canyon. Kayakers, climbers, hikers, and cyclists (mountain, road, and gravel) will have an outdoor playground within a very short drive or right outside our door. World-class climbing located at Eldorado Canyon State Park is only a 25-minute drive. If you seek bigger peaks beyond Boulder Mountain Parks, the Indian Peaks Wilderness and Rocky Mountain National Park are a gorgeous 45-minute drive.

This land is beautiful, the lodge even better. But what made it all worth it was the reassurance that everything was going to work out. I had constant communication with Cesar as we had been travelling 18 hrs from Houston Texas. They made everything easy, asking questions and being patient. The lodge was stocked with necessities and even provided a grill, propane, a boot brush and even more two sources of heat. We were able to chop our own wood as well as purchase them from Cesar. It was all worth the drive and made my husband's and I anniversary exciting.

What a lovely 2 nights spent among the trees and sky in Evergreen. The space is so comfortable and relaxing. You wake up to pine trees and delicious coffee in the Chemex. We watched movies on the big screen, made pizzas in the Ooni oven and soaked in the hot tub. The beds were just right and the kitchen had what we needed. We even had a deer family visit us in the snow. The hosts were so nice and great communicators. Highly recommend!

We chose to stay at the cabin with the sauna. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and very cozy. Being there when it snowed really added to the experience and made it feel extra peaceful and special. Just be sure to drive carefully in snowy/icy weather. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The host was very responsive and communicative, which we appreciated. Overall, a lovely cabin and a great stay.

I almost don’t want to write a review as it feels like a secret spot. If the owners are reading this, keep my prices the same. ;) I really can’t say enough good things about this place. I’m five months into a year long van life with my wife and two kids. I needed a break from the big city life AND in-laws during the holidays. I just happened to come across this like (as the miners say): follow the quartz line and ride the iron horse. Anyways, I did struck gold: clean showers and bathrooms, hot water, nice spot in nature, and convenient to both Loveland and Indian Hot Springs. I snowboarded, soaked, and solo van life’d it here. I couldn’t be happier with my 4 days and three nights. :)

This spot was perfect for my truck with RTT. Michelle was very friendly and welcoming with great neighbors in a cute neighborhood.. Michelle went above and beyond for me when my cat ran off to play hide and seek for the rest day. She was right there with me the whole time helping me catch my cat. I am so very grateful for all the help she, her partner and lovely neighbors gave me. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking to park their rig for one night or extended stays. The better alternative when camping in the city.

I booked a tent site at A-Lodge and it exceeded every expectation. The property is tucked into a peaceful mountain pocket with just the right mix of wilderness and comfort. You get the feeling of camping in nature, but with clean facilities, hot showers, and a friendly staff that actually cares about your stay. The tent sites are spaced out perfectly—private enough to feel like you’re on your own adventure, but close enough to walk to amenities. Waking up to the sound of the creek and the cool morning air was the best way to start the day. Trails are right next to the lodge, so I was able to hike straight from my campsite without ever getting in my car. The staff deserves special mention. They were welcoming, knowledgeable about the area, and gave genuinely helpful tips for hikes, food, and local spots. The community vibe around the lodge, especially in the evening, made the experience even better—quiet when you want rest, relaxed when you feel social. If you’re looking for a tent camping spot that balances nature, comfort, and adventure, A-Lodge is the place. I’ll definitely be coming back.
