Cabins
The Resort features eight cabins nestled in oak trees looking over the lakefront. Seven of our cabins are roomy one or two-bed studio cabins, each with its own half bath, kitchen, and screened porch. We have our prized one-bedroom log cabin, bath with tub/shower, and sleeping loft. Additionally, there are two secluded cabins set back with views of Hull Mt., each with one king bed, a restroom, outdoor cooking facilities, and a porch. All cabins have access to coin-operated hot showers. We are a bring-your-own-bedding facility. All cabin guests need to bring their own linens and pillows, as there is no linen service in the area. Cabins are booked for weekly stays Saturday to Saturday from mid-June through mid-August. Nightly stays are available early season, late season, or if we have openings two weeks out from the arrival date during high season.

Camping at its best! We offer 38 campsites plus 1 RV full hook-up (30amp) site, each with its own fire pit, table, and water. The campsites are nestled in a beautiful natural setting of oaks and pines, and are spread out all around the grounds with many lakefront and lake view sites. Some sit back with more privacy, but all sites offer easy access to the lake. RVs and trailers are welcome, and many sites are roomy enough to back right in. We follow the same weekly booking for most of our camps during high season, and do nightly early and late season. All camps are by reservation, so please call for availability.

The cabin has one queen size bed with 2 persons maximum. Wood fire wet/dry Barrel Sauna is open, and extra towels are provided. For all 4 plus day bookings.
The land is on the shady side of an untouched canon of natural rainforest in Mendocino County, just north of Willits, CA. Trees here can be as tall as 120 feet. A private forest reserve.
The cabin site has a 10-mile view of nature to the south. It is 100% off-grid with 5G Wifi. The Main room has a kitchenette, cookstove, sink, fridge, queen-size bed, Table and chairs with a gas fireplace/heat stove. Bathroom with hot shower is the other room. Deck off back with a Gas grill with hot and cold sink and a year round gas fire pit. Woodfires are available only when legal.
100% privacy on deck for whatever kind of sunbathing you prefer. Forest Bathers will be delighted. The land is rugged, and hiking is limited to trails. Plenty of surprises buildings and things to discover.
Privacy and wild mushrooms, deer and trees are what you will find here. Quite peaceful, solitude. No strangers on the trails ever. Get your Zen on.

This reserve has wild mushrooms galore a week after any good rain. October - April is our rainy season and mushroom season. Foragers welcome.

Situated on the edge of the Mendocino National Wilderness this incredible gathering spot has many amenities included. There are two ponds on the property many hiking biking roads and trail’s, lovely landscaping and large open areas for camping.
Included with the main camp is your own two story mountain cabana that can easily sleep 8-10 people comfortably. Under the living quarters is a fully stocked game room with cable bar and full sized pool table. The covered patio deck is perfect for lounging and and letting the breeze blow through. There is a nice outdoor BBQ zone with fully stocked indoor kitchen at arms reach as well.
Nearby are the horseshoe pits and flat areas for tent camping. There is ample parking for your quads trailers and other toys.
The driveway is rough for the first half and smooths out nicely once on the property.
Be advised an SUV or similar is recommended although the owners would drive their Mercedes and other regular passenger cars up the 2.0 mile driveway to the retreat.

We really enjoyed our stay, Sanctuary Farm is a magical place! The Riverside Cabin is a sanctuary in itself and the host is wonderful. We really enjoyed meeting all her sweet animal friends and had the most relaxing time. It’s really great that it’s so close to Orr Hot Springs as well. Married couple, 5 yr old LOVED this place, adorable cabin, loved the back patio with the awesome outdoor shower. The birds in the morning and the sound of the rushing stream was wonderful, Joe was so friendly and supplied us with charcoal and eggs!
As the previous comment mentioned, there are homes and other cabins - but you still feel like you have your own space in this place. I thought it was very clean for being in the middle of the woods and I would love to come back! (:

What a fantastic stay! From the moment we arrived, James was incredibly helpful and welcoming. He met us at the road, guided us in, and provided a radio so we could stay in touch with him and the host, Linda throughout our visit—which made us feel safe and supported, especially while navigating the area or heading out on hikes without cell service.
The setting was peaceful and breathtaking. Absolute silence at night, with stunning views. Watching the sunset and sunrise from the deck was magical, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on—seriously, we slept like rocks.
We loved the outdoor space, especially the charming outdoor sink setup. It added to the rustic charm without sacrificing comfort. The main house is just up the hill—close enough in case we needed something, but still far enough to feel totally private and remote.
And a special shoutout to Buddy the dog! He popped by now and then to check on us, which we appreciated. He felt like a friendly guardian making sure everything was good in our little corner of the woods.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for peace, comfort, and just the right amount of adventure. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay at Hanalee. The views overlooking the valley floor were absolutely breathtaking—truly million-dollar scenery. The accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed, with beautiful decks and plenty of cozy spots to relax and unwind.
We loved the extra touches like the picnic table, horseshoe pit, and tranquil pond. The surrounding trails were perfect for hiking and exploring nature. In the evening, we had a fantastic bonfire under the stars, and the stargazing was unforgettable.
Waking up to the sunrise from the deck, coffee in hand, was the perfect way to start the day. A truly special place—we only wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We were amazed at the creative implementation for a Japanese experience in a small CA mountain town. The private unit was authentically designed and furnished with the peaceful Japanese influences both interior and exterior! The cedar wooden furo/hot tub was very special being surrounded by bamboo walkways and nighttime lighting to the delightful flowing creek below the property.

Brett’s place is lovely, it’s a very nice home in a beautiful spot. We had a great time exploring the area. We appreciate that it was dog friendly. We were able to hang out at Clear Lake and there are many wineries in the area along with cute breakfast spots and shops. Going home at the end of our day to hang in the hot tub was the best. Brett is super nice, I ended up accidentally leaving my drivers license there and he was able to help me get in touch with the house cleaner Maria who sent it in the mail. I really appreciated them. Definitely recommend.

Wow - what a wonderful spot!
We were greeted with a very clean, open and refreshing house. It is impressive how mindfully designed and well-appointed it is, with pleasant textures, textiles, colors and artful touches throughout, as well as numerous large windows to let the outside in.
The comfortable seating areas are perfectly placed to enjoy the beautiful, woodsy setting both indoors and out. The hot tub area is great too - perfectly designed for privacy & relaxation.
The house was well-stocked with items that are often not provided at house rentals, such as Kleenex, a variety of cooking spices, every kitchen tool I needed (and we cooked every meal at the house during our 3-night stay), Tupperware perfect for picnics, coffee supplies, etc. Well done!
It's one of those places you want to tell everyone about, but you also don't because you want it to be available for your next getaway!
