Ravens Landing

10 sites · Lodging, Tents20 acres · Clearlake Oaks, CA
Come celebrate nature with us! Ravens Landing is a unique piece of property. Saddled in between two big mountains, it sits on top of a valley with breathtaking views. Ravens Landing burnt down in 2015 and since then, I and many friends and artists have been rebuilding using recycled lumber and various objects that survived the fires. Today I am so humbly proud to facilitate a space for artists, musicians, nature lovers, off the grid fanatics and more! We love being inspired and inspiring so please come for a visit and leave some of your own inspiration behind. We are an off-grid forever building artist community. Come explore the beautiful oak and manzanita forests. Relax and take in the fresh air. Spend quality time with our animals, drive off to the cold running creek, take a workshop or relax in a sound journey. This is our Home, so please visit with an open mind, open heart, and most of all Respect. Everyone is always welcome here. Please remember Kids are considered guests here so please include them when you reserve the number of people in your party. KID POLICY: **Must keep an eye on your children at all times. You are responsible for them! **Children must be comfortable and respectful around animals. We have a lot here, they are amazing and kid friendly. **Kids fill this space with their amazing energy so please make sure you account for them in your reservation. If your kids are walking they are considered little people and are charged at regular price. Please inform during booking there will be kids in your party, that way we can possibly reserve a site closer to amenities. Please bring your own tent. All campers get all access to our hand built cob kitchen which and access to our epic dining hall deck. It’s a very sunny property so please bring a canopy for shade if you want it over your campsite. But remember to bring stakes, it can be windy here. There is limited water due to the drought. Here we make every drop count so please come with water conservation in mind. Also for big groups, we love celebrating but please please avoid bringing balloons, styrofoam, plastic banners, plastic cups, streamers or anything else that can blow away in the wind. We are off-grid with no amenities from the city so please be mindful of how much trash you’ll leave behind. If drinking alcoholic beverages we ask that campers take their empties. Ask for a bag if you need it. It’s always a journey finding the magical places so just a sweet heads up our mountain dirt road is a bit bumpy. Cars make it up all the time. Be sure to drive at a steady pace (second gear is good) on the way up and don’t stop till you see the Welcome sign! You will be greeted by one of our wonderful residents.... Or myself! Arrival: We ask campers to arrive between 1pm at 8pm. If possible a general ETA day of helps as well. Dogs: We have two dogs with wonderful dispositions that roam freely here. Checo is a 11 year old GSD and Arco is a 3 year old ??? wearing a beautiful tuxedo. Arco will check in with most guests at some point. Checo just hangs out. Water: Please bring your own Drinking Water. We do have potable water here as well. We have a shower for those staying more than one night. We ask that people take _very_ efficient showers. Water is tremendously valuable here.

The Mesa has views for miles

1 site · Lodging25 acres · Lower Lake, CA
Sandia was the original owner and mother medicine woman of the land who passed away in 1998 ♾💜 so as homage to her we call it Sandia Ranch. The Mesa portion of Sandra Ranch was used by the elders of Harbin to set people on there vision quest in the old days. After sitting with grandma out on the cliff a while ago talking about how this place needs to be shared once again.... so it was decided to open it up to you all in honor of the great spirit and of the tribe! ♾❤️Learn more about this land:Come pitch your tent or bring an RV. Your camp site is at the end of the road and very private. The main house is pretty much out of sight but close enough if you need anything. The views of the mountains, Jerusalem Valley and soda creek are amazing and endless!! Our ranch is nudest friendly and Harbin hot Springs is 20 minute drive from the Mesa. Your campsite has a cast iron tub for soaking day or night and an on demand hot water heater power shower when solar is not available. Water is piped to camp however we are an absolutely NO camp fire camp until further notice. Thank you for understanding ♾🙏 This is a ranch with many animals including four sweet but dirty dogs, a pony, goat, 4 ducks, 3 turkeys and a few chickens running around.... Although they all hang out by the main house for the most part you might be visited by the free rangers...especially if you dish out any petting be prepared to give some more 😂 If animals aren’t your thing just tell them to go home they understand that! Because of the high amount of animals here that are free range dogs are not allowed at this time sorry..... anyone under 18 must be under parental supervision at ALL times. The cliffs here are very dangerous and must be respected by all ages with a safe distance back of five to ten feet from the edge at all times. Thank you for considering us on your next Lake County Adventure ♾🙏♾❤️♾✨♾☀️😎

Guests have access to the large lawn, yard games, and fire pit. New Starlink high speed internet and wifi are available. Spy steelhead in the seasonal creek. Or take a great hike right out the door. Its quiet out here, the air is fresh and the night sky is big and starry, so don't forget your stargazing app. The cabin’s modern interior sleeps two— one queen bed fitted with cotton jersey sheets and down bedding, kitchenette with snacks, a writing desk and chair, tv/dvd set, and en-suite half bath.  The private outdoor shower room with on-demand hot water is just across the yard.  There is a propane camp stove and picnic table for alfresco dining on the deck overlooking the creek. Feel free to use Our Country Home as a jumping-off point as you explore beautiful Mendocino county.  Or recalibrate yourself right here.  Read. Write. Create. A seasonal creek runs through the property.  Wild blackberries and blackcap raspberries are everywhere and you may luck out and find a few wild strawberries too.  The large lawn area is great for day dreaming, sun bathing, and games (we have frisbee and bean bag toss).  The garden has mature apple trees, grape vines, vegetables and herbs. We grow a little weed here and enjoy making edibles, which we're happy to share. The local fauna include wild turkeys, deer, bunnies, hummingbirds and more.  Enjoy cocktails around the fire pit, live music (if you bring your own instruments :-)), dance, or stargaze— the night sky is big and dark up here.  We’ve got a few board games, playing cards, and a pretty great selection of  movies from the past several years plus more titles if movie-watching is your thing.  Starlink high-speed internet and Wi-fi are available.   We are about 4 miles from town, where you'll find gas and provision, including Safeway, Mariposa Organic Market, and Rite-Aid.  Howard Memorial Hospital is also nearby. Besides chillin', there are many nice things to do around here.  If you're looking for relief from the heat, there are a couple of great swimming holes along the Eel river, a few miles north of town.  Schanachie Pub, on Main street in Willits, has great live music and an impressive selection of local brews, hard ciders, kombuchas, and wine (they only accept cash).  There are many wineries, and wine tasting opportunities, along the 101.  And Orr Hot Springs and Vichy Hot Springs are not too far away. Checkin:  We'll try to be here to get you settled in.  But occasionally we may not.  No worries.  We'll send you the cabin keypad and wifi codes before your arrival.  That way you can call or text if you have any questions.  There is also a folder with details about the property and Willits area in the cabin. ***COVID-19 protocols:  We'll continue our thorough cleaning and sanitizing of all linens and surfaces in the cabin, outdoor shower and fire pit areas, paying special attention to high touch surfaces.  We look forward to hosting you.  Be well.
