Are you ready to unplug from the world and recharge in nature? This newly built two bedroom, two bath log cabin will help you do just that. You’ll reconnect with love ones since the cabin has NO WIFI but does have a wood burning stove and miles of trails to walk on just outside of the front door. The cabin is conveniently located just minutes from the north entrance of Lassen National Park. For entertainment, I have a TV (no cable)/DVD player with a selection of movies, board games, and reading material including a few books and magazines. There is timber land at the back of the property with plenty of trails to walk or ride a mountain bike (if you bring one). Lassen National Park is a short drive away. Also nearby is lake McCumber. I have a wood burning stove inside that you can use for a fire. Absolutely NO FIRES outside. There is a fire ban in effect, thank you for your cooperation and understanding. I have a propane BBQ outside that you can use, along with a picnic bench and other outside seating. I will provide a selection of tea, hot coco, coffee and oatmeal to get your day started. Be sure to bring food with you since the nearest grocery story is about 9 miles away. I will provide a basket of firewood to use during your stay, but it's a good idea to bring extra since it will go fast. Because you're in the forest, there is limited cell reception so please plan accordingly. I've found that Verizon has some signal while AT&T has none. Since it's meant to get away from it all, not having cell service might be a good thing. :) The master bedroom is on the entire loft floor so there isn't a lock or door that separates the main area downstairs. Just so you're aware. There is a door and lock on the guest bedroom downstairs. All you'll need to bring are your personal items, food for your stay, and extra firewood! Once booked, I will send more helpful tips and information for your stay a week prior to your check in date. Dogs - I allow dogs because I believe they are part of the family, but please notify me if you intend to bring your dog prior to your stay. If there is high wind in the forecast, the electric company, PG&E may turn the power off for safety reasons. They usually notify me a day in advance and I will let you know right away, but I wanted you to know that it might be a possibility during your stay. For Winter Guests: A 4 wheel drive vehicle or car with chains is HIGHLY recommended to travel to the cabin. The main road is paved but there will be snow/ice in the area. Weekend Trip to Jubilee Railroad Wilderness Lodge

I loved my one night stay in Caboose #11! The caboose was clean and cozy, the hot tub was lovely in the rain, and dinner in the dining car was delicious. I had my dog with me and there were no problems with that, the property was dog-friendly as described (just had to pay a $25 pet fee when reserving through Hipcamp, not sure if that's the same if you book through their website directly). Everything was easy & nice! Would definitely stay here again.

Weekend Trip to Cabin Hideaway

This is the second time I've stayed in this beautiful cabin. Each time I've extended our stay. It has a cozy feeling once you step inside, and you feel right at home. The owner is super easy to contact when you have any questions or concerns, and she's super sweet to chat with. The only complaint I have is the Hipcamp app itself. The property owners that use this app has a lot of difficulty reaching out to me or being able to get on the app itself. So you would need to make sure that you have an alternate way of communicating with management because this app is unreliable when it comes to that. Highly recommend staying here!

Such a great private retreat with our 3 pups! It has everything needed for a glamping getaway and more! Very clean all around. All amenities were there and taken care of well. Peaceful and absolutely beautiful! Nice swimming hole that we wished we could have jumped in but the weather was a bit chilly! We also stopped by the winery and met Leith who gave us a great rundown of the history which was a pleasant little bonus! We will come back next summer for a few more day with friends to enjoy!

I love the airstreams at Cave Springs Resort. We had some technical issues with our airstream and the staff upgraded us at no extra charge. The staff are truly amazing, friendly, and polite. They place is conveniently located near the Sacramento River and near the major freeway so getting around is never an issue. The place is so clean, beautiful and tastefully decorated. They truly thought of every detail and I cannot recommend Cave Spring Resort enough. I will go back!

What an incredible story this place has. The owners have clearly followed God's creative direction and created a heavenly oasis in the middle of the Trinity Alps. The highlight for sure is rafting down the river, which I didn't have enough time to do. This is def a family camp, stay for a few days kinda place. My studio room was big and clean and had everything I needed microwaving my dinner and a quick breakfast. Although you could happily be fed every meal and drink at the cafe!

Weekend Trip to Cabin Hideaway

The cabin is super clean and at a very cheap price. We ended up extending our stay. Very close to miles of trails in the Mount Shasta area and restaurants nearby if you want to dine out. And the owner is very sweet and easy to contact if you have any questions or concerns. Highly recommend.

Weekend Trip to Camp Stoney Meadows

My wife and I came here last year, just the two of us and fell in love with it (and our hosts) immediately. We planned to bring our kids for our next family trip and they had a blast so another visit was in the xards. This time there were enough campers for Scott to fire up the pizza oven and make some delicious pizza for everyone. Scott is a wonderful guy, he has made special effort to accomodate us each time we've been there. This time he went and got paint for my daughter to paint rocks with. We all love Camp Stoney Meadows and look forward to our next visit

We were second time at Stoney Meadows. We love the place. Cottages are very nice, kitchen well equipment, shower and bathroom very clean. For us like private retreat. Hosts and staff are very nice and helpful. Valley and creek are very pictures. It's are best place for vacation.

Weekend Trip to Alpen Vineyard Hideaway

Alpen Vineyard Hideaway is wonderful! So thoughtfully created and operated. Coming to this glamping hideaway after a few nights of tent camping (which was lovely as well) was the perfect and comfortable way to end our multi-day camping trip! The Groves family have thought of nearly everything! The only recommended additions I would suggest guests bring are a tablecloth for the picnic table and a shade umbrella for the beach at the LOVELY swimming hole! Keith, the winemaker/owner, and his family clearly love what they do, and enjoy sharing the rich history of their special valley and vineyard with others! Thank you to the Groves family and all who help make the winery and lodgings so wonderful!

Scott and Nora have created a magical landscape to explore like you’re a child again. Every part of it consists of beauty and thoughtful intention so you can fully enjoy nature. The Bunkhouse had AC, windows for ventilation and comfy cots! They give you keys to lock your rooms. A mini fridge and microwave are available to you as well. It truly felt like magic being there. We enjoyed the stream directly in front of our bunkhouse. A walk and a few steps down a hill away, is a DARLING swimming hole that we enjoyed - complete with inner tubes and a chair provided by the host. It was absolutely stunning. The shared bathroom, shower and outdoor kitchen was so clean and well kept. This was my first experience using this app and I think I got extremely lucky with finding this place. There were children running around unplugged from technology, playing in the stream, riding ATV’s and they were just as welcoming as the hosts themselves! This may be a no brainer as well, but seeing the sky at night in their open field was probably my favorite part of the stay. I had never seen so many stars in my life. I hope that when I have kids, this little place is still running so I can bring them here to experience the magic I did.
