It is single story with all open beam ceilings, wood floors throughout and hiking right out the door to miles and miles of trails! Other things to note
For dining, besides other restaurants, Hortencia (before Cliff Hanger) is a famous, great-view Mexican restaurant, which was in the movie "The Next", 15 minutes away, Tudor house food with a fantastic show. "Sky Park" is a recently opened adventure park. Kids will love this place, Snow Valley is the closest ski area. Don't forget to enjoy the beach of Lake Gregory, where you can swim in Lake Gregory in summer. Shopping at Crestline Village (Lake Dr.), many times you can find an antique of great value! Staying one night is not enough.

For dining, besides other restaurants, Hortencia (before Cliff Hanger) is a famous, great-view Mexican restaurant, which was in the movie "The Next", 15 minutes away, Tudor house food with a fantastic show. "Sky Park" is a recently opened adventure park. Kids will love this place, Snow Valley is the closest ski area. Don't forget to enjoy the beach of Lake Gregory, where you can swim in Lake Gregory in summer. Shopping at Crestline Village (Lake Dr.), many times you can find an antique of great value! Staying one night is not enough.

I loved it here! Morgan was so accommodating. The cabin had everything needed (and more). I decided to stay another night while I was there because of how great the area is. I was able to go to Big Bear to hike and eat for an afternoon, and Lake Arrowhead the next day had I chosen to.
Working a stressful job in LA and having this big cabin that has a great fireplace, wood, heaters (and AC) and the bed and comforter were a dream (I even have a sleepnumber at home and I was not dying to get back to it).
This was the best solo trip with my furry creature and so needed!

6 nights at The Nook
The Nook was the perfect place to honeymoon for two people who wanted to have peace, nature, and privacy. We arrived during a storm and would not have made it to the property if we hadn’t had four wheel drive, no doubt. It’s just remote enough - we could still drive into town easily but were surrounded by woods and wildlife. It had everything we needed and more, and our stay was perfect.

Such a cute, private spot near the city. The canned ham may be small but it is so cozy and full of character. The bed was very comfy, and we appreciated a kettle being provided. We did need to pick up our own mugs, so keep that in mind if you like a warm beverage in the morning. The cooler is convenient, but we wouldn’t advise expecting it to function as a fridge. The space around the camper is very private feeling with trees around it. The hot tub is such a lovely addition and was fun to use.
The whole property is very dreamy. There was plenty of space for eating outdoors. Although the weather for us didn’t permit using the pool, it was so beautiful to look at. The bathroom is just a short walk away, and has awesome decor. We would advise bringing sandals or slides for walking to and from the bathroom and shower. The shower is a fun experience, although it’s important to note it’s quite small (width wise) to enter into the cave area. It’s not feasible for dressing in there, so you will also need to be comfortable walking back in your towel or a robe.
The road to the home is very steep and narrow. Street parking is limited but we didn’t have an issue finding parking every night, even when we came back later.
There are a couple of cats on the property that visited us and were so cute and friendly. We also got to meet Morgan who was very helpful and kind! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

We loved our stay in the Tinned Ham Camper! The property itself was amazing with kitschy and fun decor, beautiful views, friendly hosts, and adorable cats. My favorite part of our stay was the hot tub just a couple steps from our door. We also loved that even though we’re in the middle of Eagle Rock it felt like we traveled to somewhere secluded and romantic. I can’t wait to return here!

Everything from the bathroom decor and the interior of the teardrop trailer, to the small details around the yard that made the experience live up to its name. The hosts hospitality and responsiveness to our delays in arrival was very earnest and friendly, and their service was overall wonderful. Very cozy, very pampering, amazing hot tub. We didn’t get to use the beautiful pool with waterslide and grotto. And I haven’t even mentioned the great view, the awesome cave shower and the many kitties roaming around. A perfect getaway. Great place, peaceful, beautiful, well maintained, and clean none toxic cookware! Haha I know that’s a funny thing to be excited about but as a cook I love stainless steel and all were stainless steel, also master bed and pillows very comfortable, Tempur-Pedic I believe. Lots of stairs, so just be aware we brought our elder dog and was a little tricky for him to navigate; but other than that, host replied quickly to all questions and highly recommended!
