My wife and I stayed for about 4 months, we loved it. Jaqueline was very friendly and they have the best pecans and walnuts that you can purchase! The only problem was the rocks and our pets feet. But we worked around that and they eventually got use to it. Water and electric hookups came in handy. I hope to stay again!

From personally greeting you and guiding you to the site on your first visit, to pampering you with extra amenities, she goes above and beyond. Her property is stunning—exactly what I was hoping for, both for myself and my two high energy dogs. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and disconnect, all while staying conveniently close to town.

Our roof-top adventure was an outstanding experience at Valley View, there couldn’t have been a better name for the panoramic view that site #1 did offer! These sites are very private and amazing! We were so impressed on how well the site was groomed with all the amenities ready available onsite. Water, trash can, picnic table and the fire pit came in handy for our Mid- October stay. Our host was friendly and available and ready to help if needed, who doesn’t like “ good backup” when available? We are keeping Valley View on our list to revisit and would recommend this property to anyone with the same Overlanding desire.

The view was absolutely stunning, and the weather couldn’t have been better. The drive there was very scenic, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The atmosphere at the campsite was peaceful and relaxing. Honestly, the only downside was that the trip felt over too quickly — I could have stayed much longer! 10/10 would recommend, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

We enjoyed our stay at site 1! The views were amazing and the site was very private. We brought a 5 gallon propane tank and were able to connect it to the fire pit at the site. Some things to note - the dirt road drive to the site was a little bit rough, there were lots of bugs (yellow jackets, flies), and there was not much shade at the site this time of year.

A bit difficult to get to but there was a lovely view at the top of the mountain. The camp was well-kept and private. The facilities were clean and there was plenty of water, just remember to bring some purification equipment.

Our entire family loved Nancy’s ranch. Our kid enjoyed the Daisy the Donkey and Hannah the Horse; our dogs chased endless squirrels for miles, and we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings in a quiet area. We will definitely be back.

This spot was an adventure from
Start to finish. We had an amazing sunset quickly met with crickets, city lights and a meteor shower. To a silent morning view of a foggy ocean capped by mountain tops. The road was bumpy and slow going, but we made it in our 2WD, 3.5 ton Ford Sprinter just fine. Host was quick to answer any and all questions. Lots of persistent bugs, but they mostly disappear by nightfall. Worth the drive up for sure!

Our stay was magical! We arrived just in time for a bright full moon and the clearest night sky filled with stars. The site was spacious, clean, and had thoughtful touches like a sturdy picnic table and a trash bin, which made things so convenient. It felt peaceful and private, surrounded by nature’s beauty. We enjoyed our evenings under the moonlight and mornings with the sounds of birds. The perfect mix of comfort and the great outdoors—can’t wait to return!

Great camping spot for someone who just wants to have some quiet time. Campsite had shade and water faucet for cleaning up. I also love that I had a propane fire pit. Don’t forget the big spray as there were lots of mosquitoes!
