This is a beautiful 2.8 acre secluded group campsite with a geodesic dome, just minutes away from the ocean, giant redwood forests, and the beautiful Smith River. Surfing, paddling, hiking, biking, ocean or river activities abound. Surrounded by pastures, with frequent herds of elk roaming nearby and sometimes through the campsite itself.
This is a primitive campsite. It is a grassy area to park your campervan or set up your tent. While work is going into the site to improve it's functionality, it is not up and running yet. we have a toilet onsite and tables where you can set up your kitchen, however there are no showers and you wil need to pack it in and out.

3 nights at Ossia Village Farm
We spent three nights in the hydrangea dome at Ossia Farm and couldn’t have been more delighted. The experience was exquisitely serene—peaceful, restorative, and thoughtfully curated in every way. The dome itself was impeccably clean, comfortable, and beautifully appointed, with fresh bouquets of flowers from the garden adding such a warm, welcoming touch.
The shared kitchen was well equipped—everything we needed was right at our fingertips. Bathrooms were spotless and right next to the dome.
Our host, Dar, was welcoming and friendly—exactly the right vibe. He even shared some fresh-baked goodies made by his Irish mother, which made the whole experience feel even more special and personal.
The location was perfect: just minutes from the beach for stunning sunsets, and a short drive to the Redwoods National and State Parks. Ossia Farm was the ideal home base for exploring all the places we wanted to visit.
We loved every moment and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

2 nights at Ossia Village Farm
We stayed in the Hydrangea Dome and absolutely loved it! There was so much more included than what we prepared for from other pictures. There was a large picnic table and a cute little community kitchen/sink near the fireplace that had both tap and filtered drinking water and some extra supplies. The view of the sunset was gorgeous and I enjoyed being able to walk around to see and pet the animals! The dome itself had a mini fridge/freezer, a little heater, a couch, and even a cute hammock. They added little details like fresh flowers in the dome and in the bathroom for us from their garden! It was a great stay and we would absolutely be back! My only small complaint is that although the windows are great for letting in the morning light, it definitely made us feel as though we were lacking some privacy especially at night. They blocked off the windows facing the community area but if there are other people using the back property behind you and they need to use the bathroom, it can feel a bit exposed. Still was a great place and would highly recommend!!

The dome is a great space with a beautiful view of the trees. Jada is very responsive and has provided everything you might need for your stay. It was colder than we expected, especially in the morning, and for June (we should have packed for colder weather), but the dome does warm up (electric heater and wood stove).

It was a quaint place. It would’ve been nicer to be farther away from the road. We did not stay in the dome we stayed in the tent. It had everything you needed. I don’t think we got what we paid for. The price should be a little lower, it is just a tent and a cot.

Weekend Trip to Fieldbrook Gnome Dome
We loved staying in the gnome dome. It was the perfect stop on our way north to see the redwood parks. The place was clean and had all of the necessities to cook, clean, eat, etc. It was also cozy and very well decorated. Would definitely recommend staying. Thanks Jada!

The host was the loveliest person and made me feel super comfortable upon entry since I was the only one on the site. The dome is beautiful, clean, and all the amenities you could need are on the site. Me and my dog had a lovely night under the stars.
