Beautiful campsite and very responsive/kind host. Close to a lot of activities and things to do. Our 35 ft trailer was a snug fit in turning around but we were able to make it work and had so much space for our dogs to run and explore within the safety on the fence. We even got to feed/pet the highland cattle and mini horses on our last day which just topped off the trip for my daughter and I. ❤️

I absolutely love this Hipcamp! It's so private (you have your own driveway and gate) and feels very safe. Surrounded by trees and farmland. Lots of cute little amenities to enjoy while there. The ground is level enough that you can just pull right in and set up. The host is very kind and responsive. Also, I think there's an owl that lives here, and he was a joy to listen to. Highly recommend.

Coastal Forest Farm Camp is a wonderful spot with really great hosts. Nestled not far from the ocean (an easy bike ride), the Redwoods and Crescent City it was a wonderful base camp for a lot of exploration, hiking and relaxation. It was exactly what my wife and I were hoping for as the last camp trip of the season. We highly recommend.

Well appointed private area. Nice to have a picnic table and a trash can. We only saw three cows somewhat close to the fence as they chomped. Luckily, the roosters didn’t start their cockle-doodle-doing until 7am. 🤣 My only negative comment was that the site is right by the road so we could hear traffic until 9pm. Very close to the Redwoods (which was our main reason for coming to this area) and close to the dunes/beach. Great HipCamp for people with children and dogs.

I have been at this RV Park last year, the weather was horrible and I was tent camping, the Host kindly put us in a different spot under a tree so we could get a tiny bit of extra protection from the rain. This year, although I had booked a different site number, Host Judy let me stay in the same spot as last year since 23 was direclty behind the bathroom. This park is undergoing some renovations and clean ups. The bathrooms could do for some serious improvement but there is hot water and the toilets are clean. There is no trash anywhere and the place is pretty well kept. Some people live there semi long term and you can tell but I had zero issues and was even given some firewood by one of the dwellers there that was leaving.
Keep in mind if tent camping: ITS HUMID AF.
There is absolutely no way to get around it. You're in the redwoods, this is normal and it wouldn't be much different anywhere else in the forest either. You're also directly on the Klamath river. Be prepared for wet/damp everything. I kept my sleeping bags in the car to dry every day. Once the sun is down, it's showtime for fog. This year I slept in my car and used my tent as a closet for covered items. :) Rv and cars are better if you don't like humidity.
Price is fair. I will be back again, I would like to see this place glow up. Do June-August for driest weather (still gonna be humid though) any other month = wet.

Weekend Trip to Redwood River Retreat
We had an amazing stay! The location is perfect—just a short drive to Redwood National Park, yet peaceful and quiet. The trailer was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. We were even the very first guests to stay in it, which made it feel extra special. Cortney and Hiram are wonderful hosts—so kind, welcoming, and quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great privacy with a ton of space to maneuver the RV, and some really thoughtful touches like extra oil refills for the bug repellant candle and local recommendations. My boys loved making new cow friends, and I loved the firewood that was ready to go as soon as we pulled in.

Easy access. Private location in the woods next to their little farm. It's not located right on the coast, so we were protected from the gale force winds happening the weekend we stayed there. Rustic/basic site (picnic table, fire pit, trash can) but that worked fine for us.
