Weekend Trip to Angels Hideaway
We loved the yurt! We stayed for the winter solstice so it was dark but really restful and needed. Communication was easy and helpful.

Had a great time camping with family in the yurt. During the winter it takes a while to get it warmed up. The yurt isn't insulated so you have to maintain a good fire in the woodstove to keep it warm. Was able to get it to about 70°f . Holiday decorations and treats were provided, such a charming space!
The view is amazing the highlight of the trip was watching the sunset and the mist roll in down the valley and listening to coyotes and cows during the evening.
I wasn't expecting to take a shower since it was so cold outside but the instructions for it were easy enough and the water got plenty hot enough to shower outside in December. The outhouse is clean and pine fresh.
Checkout instructions were easy enough just take trash with you from the yurt turn off the water and lock up.
I would definitely visit again in the spring or fall!

We had a great time at the Angel's Hideaway yurt.
Commiunication with Audrey and Michael was A plus to get all the info we needed prior to our stay.
It was easy to get to and as described.
The property is lovely and felt very secluded.
The yurt itself is rustic but that's what we expected and we were prepared. That said there were plenty of amenities beyond just a roof over one's head.
Gotta love a yurt!
Much more fun/easy in cold and misty weather than tent camping.
The wood stove is amazing, the beds were comfy.
Would def return in the future!

We wanted to take our new van on its first overnight and Delta Shores is nearby! It was easy to find, we were welcomed and given the lay of the land. It’s a great spot with clean bathrooms. We were definitely rough out as our van hasn’t been converted to a camper yet but we had a blast! Took a great walk along the delta both in the evening and the next morning. Will return! Dog loved it!

It was a wonderful weekend in a yurt. It had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, there were all the necessary utensils, and there was a gas stove, which we never used. The shower was warm and the sunset was beautiful. Thank you so much, our whole family loved it and we want to come back!

We had a nice weekend camping at Pond Bank Waterfront. The property was easy to find and access. We parked our trailer parallel to the pond so that we had a nice view of it. We were the only ones accessing the pond so that was nice. We were aware of neighbors across the pond but they are far enough away that it was no issue. We really enjoyed watching all of the birds come and go to the pond. Sunrises and sunsets were beautiful!
We liked that the location of the property is so close to things to do during our stay. We spent the afternoon on Saturday checking out the Kennedy Mine and Kennedy Tailing Wheels. Fascinating. Walking around Sutter Creek was fun too.
The only issue we had were mosquitos which come any place with water. Just be prepared for them to come out an hour or so before sunset. We didn't have any issue with them during the day.

Having a private reservoir to unwind at was a lovely addition to our weekend away. We explored some local trails with our dog and then came to fish and relax by the resorvoir. There are some neighbors with animals that are chatty but that is to be expected out in the country. We took out the paddleboat and enjoyed hours relaxing on the land. Thanks James!

The geodome is a unique place. The dome is magnificent and is tastefully decorated and thoughtfully supplied for a great stay. Adam and Sarah were such kind and hospitable hosts. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay in the geodome again.

Loved my stay here!
So peaceful and private .i didn’t see a soul the entire time.
The paddle boat was great and I appreciated the runner of artificial grass that was very soft
The pond is so refreshing and the sand beach .nice to lie on.
Note there is no picnic table but a glass table and a wooden stool, so as long as you have chairs it’s not an issue.
The gas grill does not work .
There is a large fire pit on wheels that will be awesome once the fire ban is lifted.
I even made a sweet duck friend! I’d come back just for him!

family of 5 - 2 kids and 3 adults. the accommodations were beautiful!! plenty of space for everyone. the grill made cooking easy & quick clean up. the French press coffee was good and strong. we had zero mechanical/property issues during our stay. Any issues we did have (needed trash bags, potty issues etc) were handled IMMEDIATELY. Sarah was super quick/responsive to texts. the family is so kind, the animals are amazing. be aware that in town there is one gas station (no pay at the pump lol) and one grocery store, prepare your kids that there is no McDonald's close 😝 however, the grocery store (Senders) is amazing. plan for one lunch at the deli counter! the sandwiches were HUGE and cheap! since we chose to go in the dead of summer, the grass wasn't green. my kids wanted to explore the property in front of the dome but there was too many stickers. it got VERY hot in the dome during the later afternoon hours. but the outside weather was GORGEOUS! there is a swamp cooler in the dome but I suggest plan your outings around the heat of the day, enjoy the patio or pool, or take a bath in the outdoor tub with cool water! we went to CA Caverns & New Melones Lake - kiddo caught a huge fish!! we will definitely be back and recommend the geodome!

Amazing little camp spot, great for a family gathering, something to do for all. The canoe was such a plus! We enjoyed the entire weekend. Must love bird, cricket, bullfrog and neighborhood dog noises. We didn’t mind, lulled us to sleep
