Our pools are not heated (and do not have the ability to be heated) and are covered in the winter months (November to April).

Malaina was a great host, respected our privacy and wow both my boyfriend and I were significantly impressed with the hot tub. Cool area to explore, malaina recommended a hike that gave a beautiful view of Lake New Malones. The bed was a comfy and there was a gate we could close off our space with for optimal privacy/comfort for puppy off leash. Thanks for a great adventure!

Malaina’s space was magical and Malaina was a fantastic, attentive host. We arrived a bit late and Malaina had started a fire and heated up the cabin for our arrival. The hot tub was a fun touch, the instant hot water was great, and we loved the outdoor shower! Perfect spot for a romantic, private getaway with spectacular stargazing and waking up to the birds singing.

We absolutely love it there!! This was our second time and we plan on going back multiple times in the future. Malaina it is such an amazing host. She makes you feel right at home. It’s so comfortable there. The bed is super comfy and It’s so peaceful. The hot tub is amazing and the outdoor shower as well. We went in the winter and again in the summer and we will be back in the winter again. Definitely one of our favorite spots. We went Just one day and we feel so relaxed. Thank you Malaina!

We spent a long weekend at Malaina’s and loved every minute of it! We enjoyed the outdoor shower and hot tub, drinking tea by the fireplace, and waking up to birds chirping outside the cabin. Malaina is the best host! She gave us great recommendations for local attractions and food. Highly recommend!

We had a very relaxing stay at the little cabin. The outdoor hot tub with the hot water was amazing, so relaxing! The bed was really comfortable and the bedding kept us snug and warm. Our host was great about checking to see if we had everything we needed and was very responsive but we never saw her as she gave us the privacy we were seeking. What a beautiful corner Malania has made. Me and my boyfriend had a great time! Very close to Sonora and amazing restaurants and fun bars :) Kitchen has everything you would need! The tub is so much fun. Didn’t expect the instant hot water available! The outdoor shower at night was so relaxing. I will definitely be back!

The cabin at Joyful Heart is absolutely magical! We loved staying here (this was our second time) and would love to return. Relaxing in the tub under the stars, enjoying crisp mornings full of birdsong, and having a cozy launching point for nearby hikes in Jamestown as well as for visiting Yosemite for a day -- it's a very dreamy place. In the winter, the cabin warms up nicely with the provided heater, and having hot water for bathing makes the chillier nights really lovely.

The cozy cabin was a wonderful place to stay for a romantic getaway.
Very private and has plenty of cooking equipment and little things to add to the enjoyment of your stay, like a hot shower, hot tub, towels, robes and lights.
The bed is comfortable, the cabin stays nice and warm with a heater.
Outside there is a firepit, camping stove, bbq and sink with running water.
We had an awesome time and would recommend this place as a getaway for couples any season.
