Absolutely phenomenal and peaceful, exactly what I needed. Close to san diego but feels like a whole other place. Gertie is the VIP hung out with me and my boyfriend all morning while we just chilled in the sun. All the kitchen supplies are great too, bedding super warm!

We stayed at camping with our family and were 100% satisfied! It’s a very peaceful and secluded spot, perfect for those looking to escape the city noise. The campsites are spacious, the grounds are well maintained, the views are beautiful, and the hosts are friendly and always available to help. In the evening, we enjoyed sitting by the fire, and at night — total silence and a sky full of stars. Everything is well thought out and comfortable. We’ll definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Splitrock Farm and Retreat

My girlfriend and I did tent camping at Granite Gulch and it was lovely. The bathroom was much nicer than we expected. It was far too cold to shower but there were some! Everyone staying was so friendly and kind. There are a few cats and a big fluffy dog that made it feel like home when we were missing our pets! There were also goats, a llama, and a pig! Slight warning that it's a little difficult to sleep in due to the goats but it wasn't too bad. We heard a couple cars struggle to get over the bump in the dirt road by the campsite but my RAV did great. We fell in love with the area. So beautiful and green. Would definitely stay again.

Had an amazing time - sad we decided to leave a bit earlier because of the rain! Absolutely loved the campsite and recommend it 100%! Carlota and Richard were wonderful hosts and the property is like a little piece of heaven! We would definitely go back!

Weekend Trip to Zephyr Mountain Avocado Grove

We loved camping at Zephyr Mountain Avocado Grove. Instructions to the property were easy to follow and Shane lead us up to exact location once on site. The site was great and felt secluded. We really appreciated having a clean site, bathroom/outhouse, and little hand washing station. Walking the property with our dog was a great way to see some of the area and got to see the chickens and pigs. We would definitely recommend a stay here if you’re looking for a quick getaway or a longer stay!

Weekend Trip to Campo Nopalito

Jacob is a fantastic and welcoming host. It’s fun to open up the side of the A-frame and enjoy the views from the comfort of the bed or deck. The well stocked kitchen had everything needed to make great pizza - just add dough and your toppings of choice! We’ll be back!

Weekend Trip to Thundering Hawk Retreat

We booked the Breakthrough campsite for my birthday. The flowers already bloomed. The view is beautiful. Lance was very accommodating and helpful. There is a Mr. Heater already in the yurt. We turned it on for a few minutes to toast the inside of the yurt. We slept nice and warm for the rest of the eve. We brought our sleeping bags and blankets. We paid for the propane which is a great option if you don’t feel like lugging it with you in your car. The table and chairs were great. You don’t need to bring your own. The gas fire kept us toasty. The port-a-potty was very close. I highly recommend the experience!

I had an amazing stay at this campground and will definitely be coming back! The site was incredibly clean and peaceful—exactly what I was looking for. The toilet was well-maintained, and although the hot water heater for the outdoor shower wasn’t working during my stay, I still enjoyed a brisk navy shower. There’s something refreshing about showering outdoors, and I actually loved it. The view from the top of the site was stunning, with a sweeping overlook of the valley that made mornings and sunsets extra special. At night, the distant sound of cows mooing added a unique and calming touch to the experience—felt totally immersed in nature. There were some really thoughtful touches around the campground too, like string lights, a cozy hammock, and a tire swing that gave the place a fun, homey vibe. I do wish they sold firewood bundles down at the saloon—it would’ve made campfires easier to plan. But other than that, the site had everything I needed. The shade here is also perfect, and I imagine it would be ideal for summer camping. Can’t wait to return!

Loved the campsite as it was an amazing little local hidden away in Fallbrook. If you are not akin to farm animals and creatures being in your space then this is not the place for you. Tons of goats, a couple cats and dogs running around, all in all a fun experience with the family. Only improvements to be made would be updating the grounds or repairing some of the amenities to be fully functional, but as for camping/glamping, it can hit all the right boxes.

This property is beautiful and this particular site is pretty secluded and really nice. However, it is very difficult to get to in a low vehicle. We had a larger party so people with low cars parked at the front and we shuttled them to the site with people who had 4WD. It did also rain during our stay and we did receive the weather reimbursement which was nice. Make sure to keep your maps going while you’re driving as you will lose service on the way there at some point. Bathroom smelled pretty terrible but it did flush and we were only there for 1 night so it was fine. Overall, we had a great stay!

Ben purchased 101 acres in 2021 with plans to harvest the dead avocado trees for firewood and replant with organic, sustainable crops such as grapes, citrus trees, and flowers. Splitrock's attraction comes from its unique groves, magnificent granite boulders, and sweeping vistas. Nopalito Farm has been in operation since late 2014, but the property itself has been a working farm for over 50 years. Lemons and avocados were the primary crops from the 70’s through the 00’s, and are still prominent throughout our 15 acres. Our predecessors then diversified the growing operation by planting a wide range of fruit trees ranging from guavas and passion fruit to peaches and figs. It's a very short walk to the neighborhood park- equipped with several types of playground equipment and public creek access, or a five minute drive to a Crestridge Ecological Reserve containing multiple trails. We have three campsites and a cabin on about an acre of land. If you'd like to hang out on the property, we offer a table and chairs with each campsite to lounge in while enjoying the fresh air and nature. There are also a couple of hammocks available. In addition, our SHARED amenities include an outdoor kitchen that includes a sink with hot water, 2 mini fridges,(full at times, extra coolers available) coffee maker, a two burner stove, a griddle, a toaster oven, blender, tea kettle, and a few pans, plates, bowls, cups, and utensils. Also here to SHARE is a Propane fire pit and BBQ area. The bathroom now includes a flush toilet, sink and shower. We are continuously making improvements. Fun Fact: Harbison Canyon was named after John Stewart Harbison - aka the King of the Bee Keepers. He arrived with over one hundred colonies of bees in 1874 and within 7 years he became the world's largest honey producer! Today there are just a few bees in the area.

Each Boarding Corral has walking space, shaded corners, automated water feeders, soft dirt, partially sheltered sides and is in close proximity to a round pen, a small arena (turnout) and is encompassed by a small walking track. No two corrals are close enough to each other for the horses to interact, reducing the likelyhood of mishap from a neighbor. Each Weekender Corral comes equipped with the same as the above, excepting only the partially sheltered side panels, and are right next to where you will be parking your trailer or camper. As the idea grew, we wanted to create an Open Canvas so that the guest could dream up what they wanted on our stage. We moved to the Inland Empire from Santa Monica, in 2017 with the dream of building an open canvas event space out of sustainable, re purposed and natural materials. Our mission is help enrich the culture of Perris, CA by providing a unique venue that takes you away from the hustle and bustle and takes you to a wonderland of nature surrounded by rocks and eucalyptus trees. Anson and I continue to build everything ourselves with the help of our friends and family every now and again. Our process is that we source as much lumber using the dead Eucalyptus trees we have here on the 36 acre property and we are constantly trying to come up with innovative ways to use recycled and donated materials in the venue. During the pandemic, we turned our venue into a campground so we could open up the venue to people who needed to get out into nature. We are now open for daily camping and private events.
