Weekend Trip to Boulder Gardens Sanctuary

Wonderful place. The boulder/yoga deck location is surrounded by an incredible landscape of boulders, which make for a solitary experience as well as endless opportunity for exploration. There is also a community space not too far from the campsite with some wonderful amenities. This camp is located in a small community, and being able to partake in and meet the community is a huge plus of staying here, everyone was so welcoming and great to talk to. Highly recommend for anyone looking for some time away/connection into nature⭐️

Weekend Trip to Mineral Spring Date Farm

I loved being nestled in the palm fronds with my pup! The tent w/bed+electricity, tub w/hot springs water, and location are fantastic. It felt surprisingly private because the managers take care in placing folks. They responded quickly to my questions and everyone I interacted with was kind and helpful. Grateful for the kitchen w/ potable water and there's rustic shower+toilet building. Highly recommend!

We were here for two nights in December. It's so beautiful here!! It was quite cold in the evenings, but we have a small T@B trailer, so were able to keep warm enough. We were here as two people and six small to medium sized Dogs. Had a great time! Our host is great at communicating, so we know if any concerns had come up, they would be handled right away. But there were no concerns 🙂 I do hope to come back here! Most likely when it's a little bit warmer, possibly the spring or early summer 🙂 remember there are no hookups here, and it can get quite windy. Surprised that we didn't see any wild animals, but that's okay.

The hot mineral water is incredible! We go to a lot of mineral Springs and they all have different minerals and benefits, but we found that Ron’s Hot Springs gave us the most relief out of any hot spring. My husband and I are nearly 70 with lots and lots of aches and pains, and it was amazing how it Soothe them all away. Ron is a very gracious host, very prompt and accommodating if you contact him for anything. Since you’re away from the road, it was very, very quiet and peaceful. We’re already planning our next day there.

The eight of us had a fun time at the campsite and it was a great place to explore. Not only a spacious campsite, the bathroom and the shower is also a huge plus. 150 yards of offroad climbing to get to the campsite required some commitment for an 8 person van but it was an added fun.

2 nights at Mineral Spring Date Farm

We reserved an RV/Tent site at the Date Farm and were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to the Dome campsite upon arrival. It's a new site on the Date Farm-- what a treat! :) Ron let us check in early and met us at the gate to guide us in with clear instructions. The dome itself was comfortable and well-equipped, with a large bed, seating area, and a private flushing toilet. The mineral pool was a real highlight — the instant hot water heater lets you adjust the temperature as it fills, which is fantastic. Our heater was a bit temperamental and needed attention a few times, but Ron responded quickly and was friendly and helpful each time. One area of concern was the presence of some litter and broken glass around the campsite. This may simply be due to it being a newly opened area, but finding glass shards, litter and loose metal wiring was a bit worrying. Other campsites on the property looked more tidy, so we’re confident this will be addressed as the site continues to develop. Firewood (with lighter fluid) and fresh dates are also available for purchase on-site, which was a nice bonus. Overall, this campground is great! I really enjoyed Ron's Farm, every camping space has a private Hot spring. You can bring your own camping tent, RV or you can rent the Tents there. The property has bath rooms and shower. Great relaxing experience in the dessert. I give a 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ review.

This campsite is truly incredible. It has a level place to set up, a beautiful landscape, clean water, warm showers. The hosts are wonderful. We will come back many times. The olive oil from the farm is also spectacular. If you have a sprinter van like we do, be careful with the edelberry spot. It's a very narrow road road surrounded by boulders.

My 13 year old son and I had a great time at the upper camp. There was a great fire ring, and picnic table. The site was clean and exactly as described. I would highly recommend staying here. It's a short drive to Joshua Tree National Park.

What a magical place! Our kids loved being under the palms in the hot spring tubs! Learning about the date farm was fascinating and the ramen was delicious!!!! Campsite was one of the coolest we’ve ever had, tucked under date and palm trees!

We had the best time on the date farm. Ron is a very friendly host and is super attentive to requests. The hot tub was so relaxing in the middle of the date palms. We stayed in our van, but the yert in the site was nicely appointed with bed and heater. I’m sure it would be a great place to sleep. We will definitely be back, and plan to bring some friends!

The tents in their secluded areas were delightful and to be outside soaking in the private tub devine. We enjoyed cooking our meals near the tent but were surprised to be invited to use a community kitchen.

Weekend Trip to Melody's Rendezvous

Perfect spot to camp if you're spending time in Pioneertown! Just a block from the Red Dog Saloon and around the corner from Pappy and Harriet's, this location was clean, easy, and safer than getting on the highway late at night. Highly recommend.

2 nights at Mineral Spring Date Farm

A magical place! We were lucky enough to be there during a rainstorm and it was lovely. Don't expect anything fancy- this is, after all, a farm. But you will be able to enjoy serenity in your own little corner, with your own private soaking tub. The mineral water is simply rejuvenating. Ron, the host, is friendly and accomodating. And don't forget to get some dates- chemical free, fresh and delicious.
