This was a positively magical break in a long cross-country trip with my dog. Ron explained the entire process of the lovely water from start to finish. Soaked morning and night...BLISS.
We parked in a small grove of trees feet away from our tub. Cool lovely nights with the sound of water burbling and crickets chirping. Just what we needed!
The spot was perfect and we loved our time there. Will definitely stay again when going through!

From interest in the site to booking and staying the night our experience with Tao was timely and seamless. We found the site easily, parked and quickly relaxed in the hot tub. The site was creative, truly unique in the middle of the high desert. Rain fell for a bit, allowing us to take in the scent of creosote. The moon was full! We had a lovely stay and would return.

Ron, the property owner/manager, has a charmingly rustic operation going here and we we had a great stay. The propane heaters were necessary for the winter temps and allowed us to enjoy the waters day or night. Our spot felt private and safe. We slept in our campervan, but we peaked inside a tent and they looked very spacious yet cozy too. Ron was always around and reachable for any questions or issues. And the dates are good too!

The hot mineral water is incredible! We go to a lot of mineral Springs and they all have different minerals and benefits, but we found that Ron’s Hot Springs gave us the most relief out of any hot spring. My husband and I are nearly 70 with lots and lots of aches and pains, and it was amazing how it Soothe them all away. Ron is a very gracious host, very prompt and accommodating if you contact him for anything. Since you’re away from the road, it was very, very quiet and peaceful. We’re already planning our next day there.

I really enjoyed this campsite. I definitely recommend arriving in the daylight! All of the communal areas are so beautiful. My dog and I hiked up the mountain, prepared breakfast in the outdoor kitchen and swam and ate out by the beautiful pool. The bathroom area is perfect! The outdoor bathroom has trees growing through the roof. I wish we could have stayed longer!

We had the best time on the date farm. Ron is a very friendly host and is super attentive to requests. The hot tub was so relaxing in the middle of the date palms. We stayed in our van, but the yert in the site was nicely appointed with bed and heater. I’m sure it would be a great place to sleep. We will definitely be back, and plan to bring some friends!

I loved how even when camping we were able to have access to home amenities like a hot shower and full kitchen. We were able to take in the views of joshua trees in the valley and breathtaking sunsets and sunrises. We will definitely stay here again, it was so peaceful.

We very much enjoyed a 3 night stay at vanarchy 1. Magically created and curated place for those wanting a unique stay in one of the most beautiful high desert locations within yucca. It's way off the road, secluded and provides the type of quiet that a desert dwellers and city dwellers crave. We happen to hit it just at the tail end of a storm and got graced with rainbows and mystical skies but it would serve us just as beautiful had it been a bluebird weekend. We enjoy the jacuzzi and all the other shared spaces were inspiring. Also appreciated getting to wander off and hike and enjoy the vast indigenous plants this place has to offer.
Thank you for making our first hip camp stay the best!
