We looked for over a year for the perfect place, and first came across this property - one drafty farmhouse, a dilapidated outbuilding an an ancient barn - and immediately knew this was where we were meant to be. We call this rustic homestead "Bueno Mana" - as in, "The Good Source/Good Life". A place to come and re-acquaint yourself with what that truly means.
Situated an easy 4 miles from the nearby charming seaside town of Trinidad, and 1.5 miles away from popular Moonstone Beach, this space offers privacy, access to Nature, and a wee respite from the busy outside world. While you're here, enjoy a walk through the private loop trail or jaunt down to the beach, less than 2 miles away. Enjoy a bespoke picnic underneath the apple trees, or lay a round of disc golf on our 18-hole course onsite.
At night, roast some s'mores or sip some local wine or beer by the outdoor firepit. Or take a dip in the shared hot tub with with some world class stargazing time. Easy access to world-famous hikes through the redwoods, and several miles of pristine coastal access.

We looked for over a year for the perfect place, and first came across this property - one drafty farmhouse, a dilapidated outbuilding an an ancient barn - and immediately knew this was where we were meant to be. We call this rustic homestead "Bueno Mana" - as in, "The Good Source/Good Life". A place to come and re-acquaint yourself with what that truly means.
Situated an easy 4 miles from the nearby charming seaside town of Trinidad, and 1.5 miles away from popular Moonstone Beach, this space offers privacy, access to Nature, and a wee respite from the busy outside world. While you're here, enjoy a walk through the private loop trail or jaunt down to the beach, less than 2 miles away. Enjoy a bespoke picnic underneath the apple trees, or lay a round of disc golf on our 18-hole course onsite.
At night, roast some s'mores or sip some local wine or beer by the outdoor firepit. Or take a dip in the shared hot tub with with some world class stargazing time. Easy access to world-famous hikes through the redwoods, and several miles of pristine coastal access.
Guests will stay in the renovated barn, with two queen beds, a cozy outdoor sunroom, and lots of books and records on hand to enhance your stay. Inside is everything you will need for a thoroughly pampered "camping" experience: full-size fridge, electric range, microwave, coffee maker, tv and turntable, and wi-fi, plus a wood-burning stove to keep you warm while you're here.
Keep to yourself and enjoy the quiet, or feel free to lounge in one of the comfy outdoor common areas and meet one of your fellow travelers staying in one of the 3 total guest spaces onsite.

A short drive along Highway 96 gets you to the famed river spot, Big Rock, and Kimtu Beach is just a couple of miles further. We just loved this incredibly cozy spot! The barn feels so homey with its piano and record collection, while the bedding was so comfortable we slept like a couple of babes at Grandma's house. The sun room had a lovely stained glass window, but the real star of the space was the tile mosaic art around the fireplace--really special. We strolled the loop trail around the property, which offers a lush, redwood experience--a unique change for us SoCal guests. I wish I was able to throw a Frisbee better, as there was a disc golf course with some pretty unique holes. (A Japanese Torii gate in Trinidad? What a charming surprise!) We went down to Moonstone Beach to catch the sunset, which was only about a five-minute drive away. Then a jacuzzi dunk to top the evening off. Didn't turn the TV on once. All in all a memorable stay on a stunning piece of property. Thanks, Amy, for your charming hospitality. We'll definitely be back.

Bueno Mano is a magical paradise! From the secluded redwood grove to the near by iconic coast line, this little journey nourished our spirits. My husband and son loved the private disc golf course and I couldn’t get over the red Tori gate in the middle of course. It literally feels like you’re walking into a sacred temple of Nature. The place was cozy, very clean and more magical than we imagined. And we lucked out with a clear spring sky to marvel at the starry sky while hot tubing. Pure magic.
Amy was super helpful getting g orientated and recommend delicious places to eat in town.

Weekend Trip to Bayside Cabin
A little glamping cabin close to town. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the wood stove. The outdoor shower was also nice and hot. I did not get a chance to have a fire in the fireplace but it's nice they provide you wood. Love the cricket and frog noise at night. My dog loved intensely watching out the windows. Bring your own firestarter/ tongs/ gloves.

Obsessed with this lil tiny house. What a dream. The outdoor kitchen was right on the covered porch, easy to use in the rain. And there was a flush toilet! Wood for the lil woodstove was all prepared, plus a pile of extra firewood outside, complete with hatchet. Frog chorus sang me to sleep. Highly recommend this cabin, wow, 10/10. Just a note to reiterate that there's no wifi, and no bedding provided, so make sure to bring some!

Such a cute place to stay. We stopped here on the our trip from Portland to LA and it was a nice midpoint. Cabin is beautifully built. Took some time to get the fire going but when we did it kept us warm all night. Falling asleep to the rain and waking up to the view was awesome. I hope to stay here again soon!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay here and can’t say enough about how special this space feels. From the moment you walk down the pathway toward the cabin, something shifts — your nervous system immediately settles and you feel yourself slowing down in the best possible way. The setting is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by beautiful trees and nature, and the entire space invites you to return to a simpler, more grounded rhythm.
One of my favorite parts of the experience was the outdoor kitchen and shower. Preparing meals outside while looking out over the trees, hearing the wind move through the forest, and heating the cabin with wood in the evenings made the stay feel intentional and restorative. It’s a rare place where you naturally disconnect from noise and reconnect with the basics — good food, fresh air, and quiet.
The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with all the essential supplies, along with a small fridge that made longer stays easy and comfortable. A cooler and barbecue are also available upon request, which adds to the flexibility of cooking and enjoying meals outdoors. Guests should plan to bring their own linens and toiletries, which is clearly communicated and fits well with the simple, back-to-basics nature of the stay. The mattress was also extremely comfortable — something that made restful sleep come easily after full days outside.

I loved staying at this tucked away cabin near the bay. Ted and Emily were kind and accommodating hosts and it was a beautiful, peaceful getaway from the city life. Plenty of accommodations including an outdoor shower and kitchen including a mini fridge. They chatted me up about some local mountain bike trails and I really enjoyed my time. Lovely little spot. We were doing a road trip and needed a spot to break up the long drive. We stopped at this quaint little place. The drive to the site is easy from town. Upon arrival, the cabin was lit up in the string lights in the dark. The craftsmanship of this cabin is amazing. We enjoyed using the wood stove and appreciated that the hosts had wood ready for us to warm up on a cool night. Although close by to two residences on the property, you still felt that you had privacy. The only downside I would say was that the bathroom door is glass and does not have a very full covering. One of the residences can see right into the bathroom from their wide open windows. Not a big deal but if they put a little more of coverage on this door, the site would be a 11/10.
