We loved our stay here! It’s such a gorgeous property, so serene and peaceful. The owners have really put so much thought into making it a fun retreat. We only wish we had stayed longer to explore more! There’s an awesome disc golf course they have set up that we definitely want to come back someday to try!

Beautiful space and awesome location. Clean, comfortable, and unique. We will definitely be coming back!
Overall great experience. However I think there is a qualitative difference between "roughing it" and filth. The doors in the unit had visible grime, the floors were not cleaned and the dishes were visibly greasy. It was disappointing because it was such a cute space, and we really wanted to like it. But given what we spent, we all expected a higher standard of basic cleanliness.
unbelievable place. can't recommend it enough. you're basically sleeping in a Redwood forest, with old growth stumps all around. huge, secluded property to walk around in, feels like very holy ground. the barn was so cozy and had everything we needed. make sure sure you know how to build a fire, because that's the only heat source for the barn! we wish we could have stayed a week. so close to Moonstone beach, which was our favourite beach of our coastal trip. very tuned and gorgeous piano, lots of cool records - we didn't play disc golf, but the course is there thru out the redwoods! i could really go on and on. treat yourself, stay here.

The Barn - Redwood Cabin
We arrived at the barn and were struck by how beautiful it was! Towering redwoods, a magical forest you can wander, and a cabin that felt like everything you could ever want for a cozy stay. Amy and her husband were so warm and helpful. Our son had so much fun and we left with memories for a life time! Can’t wait to come back!
We had a great stay here, the house was very comfortable, so charming, and close to beautiful coastal areas!

What a special place! The cabin is in an amazing private forest so it was perfect to get some peace and quiet far away from the city. The barn itself is huge for 2 people with a clean full kitchen. Ending the day with a dip in the jacuzzi, stargazing, and then warming up by the fire was so restful. It’s very close to the state and national parks but staying in was just as fun with all the movies, records, and games. Highly recommend!
We had such a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much thought and care had gone into every detail of this beautiful place. Everything felt so intentional, cozy, and welcoming—it was obvious that nothing had been overlooked.
Amy went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and thoughtful. Every time we had a question or needed something, she was happy to help, and she even surprised us with extra touches that made our trip even more memorable.
The property itself is peaceful, charming, and full of character. Every little detail inside the house adds to its unique atmosphere, making it feel both special and relaxing.
We had such a pleasant time here and are leaving with wonderful memories. We would absolutely love to come back and would recommend this place without hesitation to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with an outstanding host.

We loved the disc golf course, the piano and the record player! Very cool place to stay among the redwoods and so close to Moonstone and Clam Beach.
We loved this cute little spot! Our daughter wanted a quick ocean getaway for her 17th birthday and The Barn was such a cozy little place! The land is gorgeous. The hot tub was great after a day at the beach (Moonstone is right up the road!)...and some of the best seafood around is only a few miles away. This was our dog's first big trip and he couldn't have been more excited to play with Juniper. She's such a sweet pup. The wood stove made it so nice and cozy all night and my kids loved playing the music on the record player and piano. 10/10 would recommend!
This was one of the best spots we’ve stayed at. The cabin was beautiful, as was the property. It was so cozy and we loved listening to the records.

The Barn - Redwood Cabin
Very fun place. There is lots of outdoor activities with disc golf, a hot tub and a swing. There is also tons to do indoors with a piano, drum and games. Kids had a great time running around.
Absolutely lovely. Just a perfect place to stay. I highly recommend and would most definitely like to return. Also. Please post disc golf rules so we can learn since there’s a course on the property.
What a slice of heaven! This cozy space feels like home. In fact, if I could create an ideal space that captured all of the little things I find comforting and peaceful it would be very much like the Barn. This place was so thoughtfully and beautifully designed, clearly by creative, well-traveled, warm spirited people. This space exudes positive energy ❤️
We loved our stay in the red barn. The place was spacious, clean and cozy with a wood burning stove and musical instruments. The grounds were out of this world! Trails of lush redwood forest for morning and evening walks with our pups. It was a dream! Thank you so much!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Amy's place! It was so comfortable and inviting and the many attentions to details made it very special. Set in the hills surrounded by redwoods, we enjoyed the scenery and thrle quite. There was plenty of space for our family of four. Though there is a tv, we didn't find it necessary, and spent each evening playing board games by the wood fire stove listening to the record player. The location is very convenient to the Redwood Nat Park, the oceanfront beaches and several local breweries.

What an incredible place to be. The land is deeply peaceful and beautiful and totally accessible with trails throughout, making this spot an ideal place for respite. The barn is cozy yet surprisingly roomy, and equipped with everything we needed for an extended stay. The hosts were very responsive, accommodating and personable. We’re so grateful to have been held by this place and its stewards.

Loved this place. The property is eclectic and beautiful. We had everything we needed. The location felt private, tucked away in the redwoods, but was so convenient to 101 for exploring. There are stunning beaches in just a few minutes drive

Beautiful redwood forest! Secluded and peaceful and close to the beach! We loved the space and will be recommending it to others.
What else can I say except "absolute perfection!" The Barn was everything and more. So comfy and warm. It had all the amenities we needed and the fireplace was so lovely. My husband absolutely LOVED the outdoor shower - even though the inside one was just fine. A morning hot tub was just what we needed before getting back on the road. The view was stellar! The trees are magnificent. Amy and Ed are such amazing hosts. So kind and down to earth. We wanted a place that was just off the beaten path and The Barn was the perfect solution. We walked the property which has Redwood trees all over. We played the disc golf course - which we highly recommend. If you are looking for a peaceful, cozy, serene, beautiful, clean place to call home for a day or more, STAY HERE! Thanks Ed and Amy. What a beautiful place you have.
We just loved this incredibly cozy spot! The barn feels so homey with its piano and record collection, while the bedding was so comfortable we slept like a couple of babes at Grandma's house. The sun room had a lovely stained glass window, but the real star of the space was the tile mosaic art around the fireplace--really special. We strolled the loop trail around the property, which offers a lush, redwood experience--a unique change for us SoCal guests. I wish I was able to throw a Frisbee better, as there was a disc golf course with some pretty unique holes. (A Japanese Torii gate in Trinidad? What a charming surprise!) We went down to Moonstone Beach to catch the sunset, which was only about a five-minute drive away. Then a jacuzzi dunk to top the evening off. Didn't turn the TV on once. All in all a memorable stay on a stunning piece of property. Thanks, Amy, for your charming hospitality. We'll definitely be back.
The Barn, Amy’s place, was a delightful place to stay. Very cozy. It’s feeling like home. Beautiful disc golf course in the redwoods and a hot tub. Plus, it’s only a few minutes from the beach. There’s a cute little town by the beach with amazing coffee. I highly recommend staying with Amy.

The Barn - Redwood Cabin
Bueno Mano is a magical paradise! From the secluded redwood grove to the near by iconic coast line, this little journey nourished our spirits. My husband and son loved the private disc golf course and I couldn’t get over the red Tori gate in the middle of course. It literally feels like you’re walking into a sacred temple of Nature. The place was cozy, very clean and more magical than we imagined. And we lucked out with a clear spring sky to marvel at the starry sky while hot tubing. Pure magic.
Amy was super helpful getting g orientated and recommend delicious places to eat in town.
