For this reason, we ask all campers to be mindful about storing food and disposing of trash in the provided bins. The ranch is comprised of the camping lawns, camping facilities, several homes on the property (two Air BnB and the owner's home) and the motorcycle workshop. Car and RV campers are welcomed and there is plenty of car/RV parking on the asphalt lot outside the fence at the East Side of the property near the mailboxes at the intersection of Rte 4 and Brice Station Road.

We renovated our cabin fully in the summer of 2024, knocking out lots of closed in walls and gutting the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms completely changing a dated 80’s style cabin into a modern contemporary home. Great spot for van camping. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked and camp site was not crowded for our Yosemite trip. There’s a neighborhood dog that was adorable! The campground is part of a permanent neighborhood with folks who live in homes surrounding the campsite. If you’re looking for something private and secluded this may not be your spot; it was good experience for us!

What a beautiful property! We had an absolutely lovely time. We were the only ones in the tent camping area so we had the entire place to ourselves and we were able to unplug and truly relax. The kitchen area was perfect for us to wash our dishes, the bathrooms were clean and well lit and my husband especially enjoyed his hot shower under the stars. Groveland is a very cute little town and we enjoyed an afternoon walking around there with our dogs. Robb is wonderful with communication too. We’d definitely stay here again!

The property was quiet, lots of wild life, beautiful trails...and located just outside Stanislaus and Yosemite, places that Rob knows intimately. Hookups worked perfect...we're already scheming a return trip.

Clean showers and lots of space to enjoy relaxing with views of wild turkeys and deer in the mornings and evenings.
Wife had one suggestions that the small step-up in the shower on floor have a marker ( maybe paint step yellow ) to prevent trip hazard. Men's side were fine...

Peaceful place to hang out. The kitchen was convenient for cooking at night, the barn hang out for eating and lounging after full days in Yosemite. We stayed 5 nights and drove back and forth to the park. For some that would be too much driving but we liked being out of crowded campsites. No noise and just birds in the morning. Showers were awesome after full days of hiking too.

From the jump Robb was very responsive and accommodating! Came in for the weekend to hike Half Dome and this was the PERFECT place to stay. Close to the park and close to Groveland, whilst still giving the remote and adventurous feeling that the park has to offer.
Property was easy to find and navigate. The showers were fantastically warm and the bathrooms were clean. The communal area is a perfect hangout and the little kitchen/prep area was a huge bonus.
It was really great to meet Robb as he has tons of knowledge on area and gave us some great tips on navigating the park and alternate hikes.
It would seem that Robb is a bit of local celebrity with his Biologist background and passion for Photography - I highly recommend stopping off at Mountain Sage in Groveland to view/purchase some of his phenomenal prints and grab a coffee. (He also has a published nature book!)
All in all, great value, great location and perfect for a weekend at the park! I will definitely be returning!

We stayed two nights at this location. Mac and uncle John are great! bathrooms and showers are awesome and super clean. I would recommend this place 110%!!! W used our ground tent, even though we had rooftop tent. You can find new Friends in camping area! We loved RV spot #1. Everything was clean and exactly as stated. We did have to run a hose to fill up our tank, but we probably should’ve realized lol. But as we are just amateurs. It is a very clean and quiet, private spot and we really enjoyed our stay! Thank you for a great location and stay!

A spectacular site near Yosemite that easily beats out standard commercial camping options. Love the fact that there are awesome outdoor showers and bathrooms. The trails on the property are lovely and a bonus for dog owners. Robb is very responsive and friendly with a wealth of knowledge about the area. Definitely check out his book - stunning photos. We look forward to a return trip!

Scottie and the crew are super nice guys!
There are several tent areas, which is nice if there are other guests around. Kitchen stove and grill are awesome to have at the campground.
To fully enjoy your stay you should bring (or ask Scottie) for earplugs , since there are some cars driving at night. And ask for WiFi password before arriving, in case if no one is around, since phone internet isn’t available here (closest reception is about 4 miles downhill)
