We stayed there as a halfway stop on our way to Joshua Tree. I’m originally from the Caruthers area, so i wanted to see the area after a 55 year absence. Cheryl was a responsive and welcoming host. She sent us the gate code and let us find our way. Clear directions and easy to find. Beautiful setting. It was a rainy night, so being under cover was nice.

We had an awesome night’s sleep at RandCher. The space was perfectly clean and easy to park in. We were the only campers the night we stayed, and it was a treat to have so private a setting. The coyotes and birds were fun to listen to, and after they went to sleep (?) it was SO QUIET at the vineyard. Very peaceful. Highly recommend1

Had a wonderful one-night stay. Was a *very* well-maintained area and would highly recommend it for anyone. Hosts were very friendly and made us feel at home, even leaving on some lighting in case we arrived at/after dusk. Very cool spot and would absolutely stay there again.

This was our first camping trip with our dog and we even got lucky with being the only campers for the weekend. We went swimming and got to use the kayaks it was so much fun! In the cool morning into mid afternoon noon we sat on the dock under the umbrellas just reading our books. It did however get a bit loud someone was doing shooting practice and then the boats and sea doos were quite active in the later afternoon. Overall we really did enjoy every moment of our trip and the hosts are very kind. We can’t wait for our next trip to Mona’s.

Get there before sunset, you won't want to miss it drop behind the vineyard. And although there is some light pollution the view of the stars is nothing like what you're used to in the city. I was a pain when I first arrived and bothered Cheryl and her husband with a few questions. Cheryl called me, even though it was their anniversary, to answer my questions. She and her husband, Randy, were so kind and helpful. I'm sorry again for interrupting your evening. This is an absolutely beautiful and peaceful place to stay. My husband and I highly recommend, even if only for a night. Hosts and vineyard are wonderful!

Mona’s place is an amazing camping site, which includes wonderful river access and several options for tent locations under the trees in the shade. It has all you need for a luxury camping experience: refrigerator, shower, and restrooms, all well maintained. Also, Mona is very kind allowing us to use their kayaks! The top experience for the kids was the swing over the river enables a great jumping experience to the river. Also , in the area you can finch plenty of well maintained pick-nick tables, umbrellas, and chairs. In a 5-10 drive you can find stores for the basic supplies you need including groceries if you missed anything…☺️ We had lovely camping experience at Mona’s place, warmly recommended for others and we will be more than happy to be back again!
