I have a couple of spots but I would be flexible regarding campsite. My toilet is a compost toilet.  The outside shower has been upgraded with privacy curtains etc following suggetions from previous campers ;) I have a million $$ view and a modest house. My house is about 45 minutes from the Yosemite park entrance and it's an easy commute back/forth. Flowering vines cover my outdoor porches where we have big dinners when Wwoofers or Couchsurfers are in residence. The property is home to many animals, horse, goats, pigs, chickens, peacocks, rabbits, guinea pigs - dogs & cats - of course! :-) . The roosters wake us up pretty early so fair warning about that - but I love living with them and it makes the property so much more friendly with all the critters. My house is pet friendly and yours are welcome if they are 1. Fixed, 2. Are social and friendly with my pets, 3. Will not chase the cats and chickens. I can babysit your pups if you go to the park - provided they are compliant with rules above. I work from home. There are loads of trails nearby and 2 pretty ponds and plenty of wildlife, deer, turkeys and more. The property is rolling hills however there are plenty of flat areas for tents. We are home to apiary, friendly farm animals and a vibrant ecosystem. This is a quiet foothill community allowing you space to relax and enjoy a peaceful evening retreat. Tasting Room is open to the public M-F 12-7pm, Sat 10am-7pm and Sun 10am-5pm. Gates to the property close at 7pm everyday so please make sure you are onsite by 7pm. Dogs are welcome if you advise us of the dog ahead of time and they stay leashed at all times. Please make sure our dog is leashed before you bring your dog out of your vehicle.

We loved camping here. We took our RV and Popo-Up camper. The hikes were fun and we did great at fishing Huntington Lake. Shaver Lake town is awesome and close.

This campground is great! Awsome views, great location, quiet and private. There was power and water for use. Plenty of flat areas for your tent and personal camp toilet. About 15 mins from the kings canyon gate and 1hr from general sherman tree. Nearest gas station and coffee shop is about 20 minutes away.

We stayed there as a halfway stop on our way to Joshua Tree. I’m originally from the Caruthers area, so i wanted to see the area after a 55 year absence. Cheryl was a responsive and welcoming host. She sent us the gate code and let us find our way. Clear directions and easy to find. Beautiful setting. It was a rainy night, so being under cover was nice.

The camp site is beautiful and set up for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The space also has amazing views of the stars at night. Our host was very kind and helpful. We got in late and Steven came out to greet us and then helped us navigate our trailer into the camp space in the dark. Our family had a great time and we would definitely recommend this site to other campers.

We had an awesome night’s sleep at RandCher. The space was perfectly clean and easy to park in. We were the only campers the night we stayed, and it was a treat to have so private a setting. The coyotes and birds were fun to listen to, and after they went to sleep (?) it was SO QUIET at the vineyard. Very peaceful. Highly recommend1

We enjoyed the quiet camp ground as we were the only campers there. Nice to have water and sewer hook ups and flush toilets. Could use a little maintenance and cleaning. The location is good for the parks. Our 27 ft trailer worked ok in the space. It’s a camp ground no lodge.

Weekend Trip to Hidden Falls Yosemite Camp

We had an amazing stay here; the peaceful sound of the waterfall and the privacy made this spot feel like a hidden oasis. Only an hour from Yosemite and just a few minutes from town, it was the perfect balance of nature and convenience. This was the first camping trip for a couple members of our group, and the bar might be set way too high now, what a great introduction to the outdoors. The host was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The flushable toilet and shower were clean and worked great, though they’re a short walk from the site, totally worth it for the comfort they provide. Highly recommend this site to anyone looking for a quiet, tucked-away spot to relax and enjoy nature. We’ll definitely be back!

Shandie’s campsites were amazing! She was very hospitable and communicative. We were able to message back-and-forth on the app. The site was very clean and it was easy to unload and pitch our tent. An amazing view and sleeping there is a dream with the waterfall running all night. Shandie was such an amazing host, my dog ended up getting lost and she did what she could to help me find him even extending my stay another night free of charge. We will 100% be returning.
