Weekend Trip to Joshua Tree Container Resort

This oasis was a wonderful getaway from the city to enjoy the stars, the desert and the rain. My friend and I stayed, got rained on pretty heavily in our tent & the host was very accomodating. Even in the rain, there are plenty of common space to enjoy from the hot tub to the sauna. We were able to enjoy some sunshine as well between down pours. I will definitely be back again!

My friend and I had a great time here! Though the weather was bad (cold & rainy) the hot tub & sauna were amazing! We were able to cook food under shelter, play games, paint, etc and enjoy being outdoors while avoiding the rain. We spent majority of our time hanging out in the common areas and loved the hot tub in the rain! The host was incredibly kind and accommodating.

A magical place! We were lucky enough to be there during a rainstorm and it was lovely. Don't expect anything fancy- this is, after all, a farm. But you will be able to enjoy serenity in your own little corner, with your own private soaking tub. The mineral water is simply rejuvenating. Ron, the host, is friendly and accomodating. And don't forget to get some dates- chemical free, fresh and delicious.

The mineral springs tubs were a hit with the fam and our site had a heated tub as well which was great to relax in after a long day exploring Joshua Tree. Real cool setup with camping sites, canvas tents, container rooms & castle tower rooms. Perfect location to explore Joshua Tree. There are lots of plants & lights for a very nice setup. Ryan met us as we arrived & later brought us our pre-ordered firewood & some RO water. We had 2 great nights with a huge full moon lighting the area. There was a photo sent showing where the bathrooms were, but we didn't know where the showers were or how to get more drinking water (aside from asking for it). There was water behind the pagoda, but we weren't sure if we could drink it. We had a good stay and not many people were there as it isn't quite the busy season yet. It felt very secure with the property being fenced in with a coded gate.

This was our third stay at Deb's Place and it never disappoints! Deb had made some changes to the campsites over the summer and makes me love our site #7 even more! The facilities and sites are always impeccably clean, well maintained, and well stocked. Even with it being 'close' to the rt 247, you still feel like you are a bit isolated but it makes getting down to Yucca Valley/JT easy! Weekend Trip to Mineral Spring Date Farm

We loved camping at the Mineral Spring Date Farm. Ron and Myung welcomed us and we signed up for the Kimchee Ramen our first night which was delicious! We had a wonderful campsite which was private surrounded by date palms. We soaked in a large rubber tub which we could fill with wonderfully hot mineral spring water from deep down in the aquifer 100s of feet under the ground. Palm Springs is only a half an hour away and we enjoyed the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum, a must see. To remember our visit, we purchased a couple pounds of dates to take home, which were delicious and tender. Highly recommend this unique campsite to anyone wanting something special.

Campground is convenient to Joshua Tree. Great accommodations (flush toilet, shower, huge outdoor kitchen, all very clean). Deb met me to show me around and was friendly and helpful. There is quite a bit of road noise, but that’s the cost of being close to a main road for easy access to the park.

Weekend Trip to Camp Deb's Place

We really enjoyed Deb's place. 5 of us passing through to Joshua Tree Park. Deb has very nice amenities; cooking area with sink, electrical plug ins for Jackery type devices, hot shower, bathroom. All decorated in a fun and funky style. You can pass through quietly or catch Deb to get a lowdown on the history of the area.

Weekend Trip to Camp Deb's Place

We stayed at Deb's Place with some friends on our way to Joshua Tree NP. Deb has done an extraordinary job setting up the site for guests. She has thought of every detail to make the place comfortable. Everything was exceptionally clean and organized. Deb is also quite friendly and spent some time telling us about things we could do around the area and the history of the region. We were a bit worried about the noise from the country highway nearby but traffic died down in the evening and wasn't a problem. We highly recommend Deb's Place!

Weekend Trip to Villa Macala

Great campsite with fantastic views of the local mountains. The full hookup site we had was extremely nice, new, well setup with a clean picnic table and fire pit. The hilly area was fun to hike around and would be a terrific place for kids to run around and play. Weather was perfect with a nice breeze and clear sky’s. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone looking to get away from the city and spend time relaxing with family and friends.

The Peninsular Ranges

The southernmost U.S. stretch of the Coast Ranges, the Peninsular Ranges create a natural buffer between the desert and the urban sprawl of Los Angeles County.
