The ranch is also located a short 29 min drive from the Carrizo Plain National Monument and Las Padres National Forest. Tule elk, prog horn antelope, and valley quail are just some of the animals you may encounter on our ranch. The pond is full of fish (bass, blue gill & sun perch) so don’t forget your fishing poles (catch & release). -We have beautiful 2 stall hot water showers, and three stall restroom including handicap stall. **Cleaned & Sanitized DAILY Our communal kitchen has : a large gas bbq grill, 3 smaller gas grills as well as gas burners & sink. **Cleaned & Sanitized DAILY. There are several counter high prepping tables around the kitchen (please clean up your cooking essentials & food after each meal as everyone shares this space). Campfires - We are an ember free site year round due to wildfire risks & insurance purposes. We do however have propane fire pit rentals for $20 per night. - great for roasting s’mores & the ambience of camping. Please do not cook any meals on them. All cooking is to be done in the communal kitchen area. The summer days can get pretty toasty and the winter nights can get very chilly so check the weather before your stay and plan accordingly. Don’t forget your swim suits as we have soaking troughs for you to cool off in. -Also please note we are located an hour from the nearest town, no stores or gas stations. Please come fully equipped with your own utensils, cooking essentials, food and beverages. We sell ICE!! $5 per 5lb bag. We are off grid, there is no electricity, all lights are battery or solar powered. You may want a flashlight or headlamp for walking around at night. Really cute venue. Nice to walk around and see how they dressed up the place. Had a mule we got to pet from the other side of the fence and some other ranch animals around. Everyone was very nice and the kitchen was great. Got to use the firepit as well and the stars were beautiful.

what a peaceful retreat it was staying in this little cabin! comfy bed, a porch and birds on surround sound. it was like staying in a sanctuary! if you’re looking to get off the grid and not have the sound of roads anywhere nearby, this is the place. i would absolutely stay again.

My husband and I loved our night here and wished we had booked it for 2 nights. We stayed in one of the cabins which was perfect for us and our 2 dogs ( a Great Dane and a JRT/ Chi. mix). We played pool and darts in the game room. We walked around exploring. Met some of the family, who were welcoming and friendly. They asked if I wanted to go feed some baby goats, and of course I jumped at the offer and it was the highlight of my stay. We definitely want to go back again, but for at least a 2 nights stay. 🙂

This was such a magical experience for my husband and our good friends. Carly and her family are lovely and were so gracious to let us interact with their animals. We got to hold the baby goats, feed the horses and enjoy a most tranquil view. Could not recommend this place more! We have all decided to visit this place annually as it was so so good for our souls.

Carly's property is beautiful and kept up incredibly well. My kids (2 & 5 yo) loved exploring all of the vintage farming equipment. Bathrooms were clean and well lit. While I did enjoy my stay here, I doubt I'll return only because it's so far out of the way and hard to get to (which was accurately described in the listing). Their "drive way", which takes a little over 15 minutes from the turn-off to the campsite, was so bumpy and uncomfortable to drive on with our 22" RV that we considered turning back more than once. I'm glad we didn't turn around but again, I don't think we'll return. This property would be a ton of fun with a large group that wants to let loose and disconnect!

Almond Springs is an absolute gem! From the beautiful hills to the warm hospitality, every moment spent here is unforgettable. We reserved a tent camping spot and stayed right behind the cabins, making it a quick walk to the bathrooms and shared kitchen. We loved the farm, and Carly and her dad Mitch gave us an amazing tour of the animals—including the adorable baby goats! The restrooms and showers were spotless and made our camping experience so comfortable. We stayed two nights, and Carly and her family were always there to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. The location is ideal, only about a 30-minute drive to Tin City and a short drive from Paso Robles, where we enjoyed exploring local wineries and restaurants. Almond Springs is perfect for anyone looking to connect with nature, enjoy unique farm experiences, and have easy access to Paso Robles attractions. Highly recommend this serene and memorable getaway.
