It’s awesome here when the dogwood and redbuds bloom in the spring, and when the leaves change color in the fall. The St. Francis National Forest is more diverse, with the St. Francis and Mississippi Rivers running through it, as well as lakes, valleys, and tons of wildlife. It’s the only place in the national forest system where you can access the Mississippi River from the shore, so that right there is a must do! I moved to my dream home and property March 1, 2020.
I refer to it as a hideaway because not only am I at the end of town, this is a dead end street so it stays quiet of traffic. Being downhill, next to the creek, I feel, is safer from tornados, as well, the echo goes uphill instead of downhill toward this property. I am learning town history from a friend that runs the historical society, here in town.
As I learn things, I hope to share the information with anyone that may be interested.

Peace, quiet, alone time or get away from the hustle. Located in the Ozark's. No freeways for miles. Lots to do around and at edge of small town community.
I will be setting up the horseshoe pits soon and have board games as well as cards. I enjoy and look forward to sharing the beautiful land I live on.
The front of my property is very flat and grassy, from the creek fence to the front side of my house. Mature trees that line my property provide nice shade in the spring and summer, however, the property is open air. The stars are spectacular. There is no light pollution. (once it is dark, you can't see your hand in front of your face)
This is a small town of about 2000 people or so. There are quite a few shops as well as a grocery store, hardware store, a couple auto stores as well as a couple dealerships. There is a drive through coffee shop as well as a couple drug stores available in town. There are 3 to 5 different repair shops around. There is a beautiful golf course, 5-8 minutes away, just around the corner. .
I live in a peaceful and extremely tranquil spot here. A good hideaway, if thats what you’re looking for. Hide away and recoup before your next big adventure. There are a few kids around that love to ride their ATVs, bikes, walk, skateboard and skate up and down Conniebrook Lane. We have bike rally's coming through town often, in the summer.
Mt. View, AR, the bluegrass music capitol of the world is about 45 minutes away. Beautiful drive, to get there. Scenic overlooks on the way.
Wheelchair Accessibility: I am sure any electric wheelchair would have no problem going over the grass area anywhere they wanted to go in the camping area. I hope if there are any issues, it would be brought to my attention and I would make it accommodating, immediately.. I am extremely handy and mechanical.

We do offer electric and water hookups, along with a shower tent and porta-potty facilities for guest use.

We also operate a small cottage bakery on the property called Two Roots Rising, and fresh baked goods may occasionally be available during your stay. Our chickens also keep us stocked with farm fresh eggs, which are sometimes available from our small homestead stand when the girls are laying well.

This was truly the best camping place we’ve ever been to. The views were absolutely stunning, and the campsite itself was perfect for our tent. Robert and Susan went above and beyond to make the experience special. We even got a fun and super interesting coffee lesson (featuring some of the best coffee we’ve ever had), followed by a fresh latte handcrafted by Susan, which was absolutely delicious. Robert even sent my husband back with some of his coffee to share with the guys at the fire station, which meant so much to us. And if that wasn’t enough, they also dropped off homemade sourdough monkey bread, which was nothing short of phenomenal.
Robert and Susan are honestly some of the kindest and most thoughtful people we’ve ever met. On top of the amazing views from the campsite, the common area was perfect—especially on the rainy day we had. We were able to relax on the couch with our dogs, stay dry, and still enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.
We absolutely loved our time here and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

This was one of my favorite campsites of all time! The view from the bluff just a short walk down the hill is amazing! Great for viewing stars at night, too! It’s also nice to have a good shower and toilet available! The campground was full, but there are not many sites, so being able to use the shower/bathroom wasn’t a huge conflict. Robert was an extra kind host, and he brought freshly roasted (and brewed) coffee every morning to the common area! When we requested firewood through the Hip Camp app, he had it for us at our site very quickly. We were really tired and my husband was kind of feeling sick during our stay, so we did not hike on the trail down into the valley. But, we plan to camp here again and hike the trail! We have a pretty large tent (6 person tent) and we were able to fit it on the camp pad! The fire pit and picnic table were also nice additions to our camp life. We also hung up our hammocks over by the bluff and it was an amazing reading spot with a view! We loved everything! This is a great place to get away from the noise and busyness of modern life, but it still has amazing amenities like coffee, a bathroom, AND WiFi. 😄

We had a wonderful, quiet stay here. Unfortunately, there is a severe drought and the creek wasn’t running but it was so quiet and peaceful that we didn’t even mind. The river is a hop skip and a jump from our camping spot so we ran down to take a look and enjoy the view. Speaking of views, it is worth taking the trails! We would definitely come back and encourage others to enjoy this property as well.

We absolutely loved camping at Harper’s Bluff. Not only was the view honestly breathtaking, the hosts are honestly the very best. They were super welcoming, beyond thoughtful, and work hard to provide a great experience for their guests. Loved it there. It was a last minute booking for me, because my other plan didn't work out. But I am so glad I booked this. Best HipCamp I've visited so far. The view was amazing, the coffee was fantastic, the shower was hot, and the flushing toilet was more than appreciated. Robert and Susan were wonderful hosts. They greeted us at arrival, and made us immediately feel welcomed. They guided us right to our spot, and even got us situated with firewood. My daughter and I absolutely loved our weekend together, and did not want to leave. Coming back to the city stinks. I could have just lived right there on that bluff.

We loved celebrating our anniversary in this beautiful place. At all times we felt very safe, the communication was on point, the hosts were incredibly warm, attentive and very kind to us, even the other people camping at the same time were wonderful.
Waking up and seeing a gorgeous sunrise in the middle of these beautiful mountains was a dream.
So many comfortable things provided, warm shower, very clean spaces, delicious coffee and you can add in the payment needed stuff for camping in case you’re not prepared like us hehe.
We came all the way from Houston and would come again :)

The Hill Top campsite was great! The site was close to the scenic bluff overlook and we got to watch the sun set. It wasn’t too far from the other camp sites but it still felt private because it had some trees that separated the sites. Robert and Susan were WONDERFUL hosts. They gave clear directions and greeted us with such hospitality when we arrived (and when we departed). It was nice having the shower and toilet in the community area. They also provided fresh-roasted Numu coffee in the Spartan community camper and it was fabulous! And they were so sweet to bring us muffins in the morning. We will definitely be going back and we highly recommend!

Nice sandy beach, creekside , very clear clean water. We walked in the water to fish for an hour. The water is not cold at all. Most of it may be 12 inches deep to at the most waist deep.
The entrance to their property is a water crossing but pretty. Playground set, outhouse, plenty of shade. No Internet access at all our ATT phones didnt have any.
Pretty mountains in the background. Nice owners we met on arrival. Will definitely stay again.

Our 2-night stay at Harper’s Bluff was incredible! The view of the bluff is magical, absolutely breathtaking. The campsite was private and had nice amenities inside a cute trailer just steps from our site, bathroom with
shower and kitchen with coffee maker. Robert was an excellent host, he provided great coffee that was enjoyed overlooking the valley. Our short stay brought so much joy to our family, really special place!!
He also recommended a tour of Blanchard Springs Caverns which was super cool.

What a gorgeous place to stay! The amenities are incredible, and Robert and Susan are incredible hosts. They upgraded our spot since the campground was pretty lightly trafficked this weekend due to stormy weather. The bathroom and hot-water shower was luxurious and our whole stay was highlighted and characterized by the hosts thoughtful generosity. Susan even made cinnamon rolls one morning and dropped some off for us. Talk about spoiled! For coffee lovers everywhere, the loveliest perk was fresh-roasted coffee ready to brew. We sampled a few different roasts while there, and all of it was fantastic!
Talk about the views, Harper's bluff is absolutely gorgeous! And we could see it from our tent as shown in the pictures. Any spot you get here is leveled out and perfect for an easy set-up. I don't think it'd ever feel crowded (we got lucky to have nearly the whole place to ourselves) because everything is spaced out very generously. We will be back and be bringing all our friends!

Beautiful, peaceful spot to camp beside the water! The kids liked the rock steps down to the water and had fun playing on the playground. The fire pit encircled by lights was lovely. The outhouse was clean and smelled of fresh cedar. The host did a nice job preparing for us by freshly mowing the grass. They also were very quick to respond and offer assistance when we had trouble with directions. We enjoyed our stay!
