A quiet spot on the bank of the White River by Steamboat Shoals. There are shade trees and a fire pit ready for your relaxing stay with a short drive to launch your boat, catch trout, kayak, canoe, or hike in the national forest. Only 15 minutes to the town of Norfork for the boat ramp, Norfork Brewery, Heidi's Ugly Cakes, Two Rivers Fly Shop, as well as the grocery and liquor stores.There are a lot of opportunities in this area from hiking the national forest, trout fishing the famous White River, kayaking, canoeing, visiting local breweries, or just relaxing in a hammock. This is one acre of open land with shade trees along the river. It’s a very quiet area to get away and relax, yet still close to Norfork, Cotter, Mountain Home, Calico Rock, and Mountain View. The entrance to the Ozark Highlands Hiking Trail is less than 10 minutes away. The town of Norfork is just a 15 minute drive away where you can rent boats from Rose's trout dock, book guided fishing trips, or buy tackle at Two Rivers Fly Shop, grab a beer at the Norfork Brewery, or grab a sandwich at Heidi's Ugly Cakes. There's also local roasted coffee at 1906 Coffee Co. This is a wonderful area to explore and see the Ozarks. If you need any suggestions feel free to ask. Thanks!

Overall great experience! Unfortunately the site was not as private/quiet as we hoped it would be. There are neighbors and houses being built, just depends on how much privacy you are looking for. Fire pit and wood available for use. Beautiful view of the white river and great access for fishing. Site is very close to good hikes and fishing spots as well as the buffalo river. It was very easy to find and a beautiful spot to camp!

Nestled along the tranquil banks of the White River in Norfork Arkansas, the Lone Rock Country Club offers a picturesque and delightful escape for nature enthusiasts and anglers alike. With its peaceful and quiet atmosphere, it provides the perfect setting for relaxation and unwinding. The campfire setup at Lone Rock Country Club is a highlight of the experience. As the sun sets, gathering around the campfire provided us with the wonderful opportunity to roast marshmallows. For those seeking modern amenities while camping, the availability of electric hook-ups is a welcome convenience. This ensured that our camper had access to power for air conditioning and charging devices without compromising the site's natural charm with the use of a noisy generator. The campsite is well-maintained and level, offering a comfortable spot to set up tents or park campers under the large shade trees. The campsite is free of obstacles making it easy to park a camper. While the site felt remote it is a short drive to Mountain Home, Norfork or Salesville for restaurants or groceries.
