All within a short drive from here. If you'd like to visit Mexico, you can cross at Naco (about 15 minute drive) or at Douglas (about 45 minutes) Lots of restaurants in Sierra Vista, but we recommend trying Mimosa Pizzeria, or La Sierra Steakhouse, both just a 10 minute drive down the road, along with Dollar General for your immediate needs. We decided to take a last minute, camping trip with our daughter to see the Sandhill Cranes at Whitewater Draw over Christmas, and this was the perfect location. Harry and Barbara had family plans elsewhere, but they were great about communicating all that we needed to know to stay at their place. Our stay was peaceful and beautiful...just the dose of nature and animals that we all needed. We walked the short trails around their property, and used their solo stove in the evenings to stay warm. The night sky is incredible, and their bird feeders make this a great birding spot. The cranes were not as plentiful as in past years, but a couple of surges in their comings and goings made it worthwhile. This is a great spot for those needing some time away from the city and a dose of nature.

Mary is great and her place has everything people living in a tent could want. Insulated tent pads, charging stations, loaner bikes, full kitchen with popcorn 🍿and so much more. I love the outdoor propane heated shower!!!!

TerraSol is a welcoming, relaxed and well maintained place to camp. I loved the community campfire giving me the chance to talk with other campers. Mary was helpful and the location was ideal for access on foot to town and activities.

This was our second visit to El Pais and it was a wonderful as we remembered ❤️ We stayed in the tent spot which is awesome. The vegan food truck/movie night on the weekend was great. We love all the El Paisians!!! The coffee is always great and sunbathing poolside is relaxing. So many cool spots to relax inside and out.

This was a little slice of heaven in Patagonia. I've never stayed at a hipcamp this charming and perfect. From the outdoor shower (heaven after a long day of riding) to the quiet, to the laundry facilities, I can't think of how Melanie (and Joanie) could have made this haven any better. 20/10. We're already planning a trip back in the spring!

What a great spot. Very welcoming staff, and great vibe that they've obviously put a lot of work into creating. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The common area is a great spot to hang out, watch a movie, and meet fellow travelers. The general area has some great food trucks and a fun neighborhood dive bar right across the street. Looking forward to coming back through.

The hosts were excellent and went out of their way to make the stay wonderful. The outdoor movies were fun and popcorn was available. Morning coffee came with the stay which made it nice . The common areas were comfortable and nicely decorated. Although it was in the city limits it felt like it was in a world of it's own. It was secure by locked gates so I felt safe.
