We (Tim and Victoria) moved out to our place in the desert in February 2008 along with our many plants. We have continued to grow our little farm of 6 acres to what it is today, which includes an orchard with about 50 fruit and nut trees and enclosed garden/greenhouse structures with veggies and herbs that are protected from wildlife and the elements. We have a seasonally heated pool with 3/4 wraparound deck and amazing views of the Tucson Mountains. We have a basketball court, a ping pong table, cornhole court as well for recreation. I offer 4 dry camping options. You can book the Tent Cabana-The Shady Rest- listing or you can dry camp by booking through my Tent and Vehicle Camping listing. There are no exact designated spaces for tent/vehicle camping. You can choose where you prefer to camp. An extra vehicle is OK as long as it's part of your one campsite. 2 groups with 2 camp vehicles is 2 campsites.
I also have the Pool House, an indoor option with a power outlet, and it's close to the pool and restroom area. You can set up your bed or rent a full size bed which I will set up for you.
This is my private property, you and your gear are safe and secure. You can leave your campsite and go exploring, no one will bother your stuff.
I have WiFi and great cell service here. Please arrive by 8pm unless arrangements are made in advance. I meet with you and show you around.
I will greet you and show you around. I close my gates at dark. Once you are here you may come and go as you please.
I am located just over an hour away from Tucson and 25 minutes off the 10.
Dry campers- Off the pool area there is a clean restroom in my back garage and a sink with hot water. There is a breakfast room with clean refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker available for your use. Lots of local birds visit daily. You are welcome to visit and pet my horses and donkeys!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Raven site at the Sanctuary at Sonoita Creek. It's an easy walk to the restaurants and bars in Patagonia and to Audobon's Paton Hummingbird Center. We also hiked on the trails at Nature Conserancy's Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve, which is about a mile from the campgeound. It was quiet at night, the bathroom at the campground was clean and the outdoor shower was great. We will definitely stay again when we next visit Patagonia.

This is a great place to stay. FHU. Lots of room. Outdoor shower is the bomb!! If you are a birder stay here. Bird sanctuary just down the road. If you are a motorcyclist stay here. Lots of gravel roads and asphalt. If you like live music stay here. Patagonia Lumber Company has four nights of live music.

We absolutely LOVED this little spot!!! Very nice and friendly. Adorable clubhouse! We rolled in after dark and they had food, a movie playing on a big screen, felt like we were at the drive in! Hot coffee in the morning. It was all absolutely wonderful. Easy to find. Best spot we’ve stopped so far!

What a beautiful site! We loved the desert vegetation and so did the birds we watched from the gazebo. A small but beautifully maintained private property with only a handful of sites. The outdoor shower was especially enjoyable during my visit the first few days of an exceptionally warm March.
The host was both welcoming and delightful
This property is in easy walking distance of both the Paton Center for hummingbirds/Tucson Birding Alliance for birding and downtown Patagonia for cafes, entertainment and shopping.
It was especially nice for my group of friends, most of who camp but one who prefers lodging as The Sanctuary has a nice one bedroom cottage.

We came late the first night and Michaelette and her husband were so kind to help us back up into the space. Although the space was a little cramped, we had everything we needed. The full hookups were great, the shade was wonderful, and the almost daily gifts of fresh citrus were much appreciated. i stayed here a good chunk of the winter and loved every second of my time in tucson.
centrally located, i had a lovely time bike riding all over, enjoying incredible views of the catalina mountains, and exploring all that tucson has to offer.
site is residential driveway which was a cool way to take tucson in. having a dump spot and laundry access was so clutch. easy drives to botanical gardens, the saguaro national park, shopping, groceries, and tons of nearby places to eat.
sean (the host) is great and was always quick to respond with questions. would absolutely recommend and am already planning my return trip 🙂
