I offer 2 full hook-up spaces, one space is covered. Power is 50 AMPS! An RV must be under 12' to fit under the covered space.
I offer 4 dry camping options. You can book the Tent Cabana-The Shady Rest- listing or you can dry camp by booking through my Tent and Vehicle Camping listing. There are no exact designated spaces for tent/vehicle camping. You can choose where you prefer to camp. An extra vehicle is OK as long as it's part of your one campsite. 2 groups with 2 camp vehicles is 2 campsites.
I also have the Pool House, an indoor option with a power outlet, and it's close to the pool and restroom area. You can set up your bed or rent a full size bed which I will set up for you.
This is my private property, you and your gear are safe and secure. You can leave your campsite and go exploring, no one will bother your stuff.
I have WiFi and great cell service here. Please arrive by 8pm unless arrangements are made in advance. I meet with you and show you around.
I will greet you and show you around. I close my gates at dark. Once you are here you may come and go as you please.
I am located just over an hour away from Tucson and 25 minutes off the 10.
Dry campers- Off the pool area there is a clean restroom in my back garage and a sink with hot water. There is a breakfast room with clean refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker available for your use. Lots of local birds visit daily. You are welcome to visit and pet my horses and donkeys!

Some people come to check out the area to potentially move to the area and some only come for the winters. We also have a short little nature trail that we made ourselves. We are 30 minutes south of Tucson, 25 minute drive away from Madera Canyon/Coronado National Forest for some great hiking and bird watching! No light pollution so you can see the stars good at night. Remember the term sky island. Here in southeastern Arizona and southwestern New Mexico, mountains seemingly come out of nowhere to dominate an otherwise flat landscape. Discover the five distinct areas of this national forest, all of which have their own sky islands.
Start your wanderings at Sabino Canyon. Steep rock cliffs and unique desert vegetation follow Sabino Creek, which maintains water year-round. Keep a sharp eye out for desert wildlife adapted for high heat and low humidity. Gila monsters may sun themselves on rocks, while bobcats sip from the creek's water.

The riparian area has a 2000' requested minimum altitude. West of the river is restricted airspace and the boarder defense zone starts just six miles to the South. Heading to the North, then East, you are all clear. It's best to fly when the wind is coming from the West or South.

The parking property includes the fenced area around the shop address. The fenced area is our quiet area with access to 50 amp service and for our most self-contained guests who do not wish to use a generator. Loud generators or engines are not allowed.
We are looking forward to meeting you and helping you enjoy your visit.
Our property has easy access to acres and acres of Arizona Bureau of Land Management for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and properly permitted OHV use!

We purchased our 20 acre homestead 16 years ago. The buildings were unlivable and land was overgrazed , but the windmill and sweet water well gave promise. We have been Restoring the land, allowing its native habitat to thrive. We now have a Year round vegetable garden, honeybees, orchard and grape vines. The adobe home and outbuildings and Sandhill (Crane) casita are restored with all recycle materials from the property. Park your RV at our place on your travels, we are 5 min off the interstate! Dirt road is great for walking, some parts of the year people pass through for birding. Some people come to check out the area to potentially move to the area and some only come for the winters. We also have a short little nature trail that we made ourselves. We are 30 minutes south of Tucson, 25 minute drive away from Madera Canyon/Coronado National Forest for some great hiking and bird watching! No light pollution so you can see the stars good at night. Remember the term sky island. Here in southeastern Arizona and southwestern New Mexico, mountains seemingly come out of nowhere to dominate an otherwise flat landscape. Discover the five distinct areas of this national forest, all of which have their own sky islands.
Start your wanderings at Sabino Canyon. Steep rock cliffs and unique desert vegetation follow Sabino Creek, which maintains water year-round. Keep a sharp eye out for desert wildlife adapted for high heat and low humidity. Gila monsters may sun themselves on rocks, while bobcats sip from the creek's water.
Discover Miller Peak, the highest peak in the Huachuca Mountains. Wilderness surrounding the area comprises vertical cliffs and deep canyons. This property is at the base of the Mule Mountains with views looking over the San Pedro River to the Huachuca Mountains, the lights of Sierra Vista and San Pedro Mexico.
It's two miles away from the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area, a popular trailhead for birdwatchers, hikers, and mountain bikers. It's just a 30 minute drive to Old Bisbee, a historic mining town with a vibrant music and art scene.
Also within a half hour drive, you can reach the Coronado National Monument, or Miller Canyon.
There is excellent cell coverage from Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T
And... if you happen to fly a paramotor, you hit the jackpot. Just next to the camping spot, there is a landing zone. If you want to fly here, please get familiar with the local airspace. The riparian area has a 2000' requested minimum altitude. West of the river is restricted airspace and the boarder defense zone starts just six miles to the South. Heading to the North, then East, you are all clear. It's best to fly when the wind is coming from the West or South.

Karls'a place is a patch of heaven! The detail and thought she has placed into this property if second to none. We arrived early in the day (her early in the day check-in time is a realy nice plus) and we got settled in pretty quick. It was lovely spending time with the animals such a relaxing atmosphere.
We thought we had seen it all, then night was upon us and Karla's property was that of magic. It was stunning, the lights and beauty, honeslty at every turn on the property. Not to mention the amazing AZ night sky!
Karla has stunning attention to detail and her heart has been placed into this patch of heaven in Southern AZ! I would highly recommend this Hipcamp, a truly amazing place to stay!

Our 30' rig fit perfectly in this spot & plenty of room parked nicely next to our friends.
Amenities were perfect and a bit of surprise. Didn't think an outside shower would be anything special. It was a delight to find it. Really enjoyed the proximity to town, the hummingbird sanctuary and lots of hiking. Overall, perfect in every way! Thank you!

Beautiful, homey stargazing. Sunrises and sunsets are unbelievable. Amazing stay that provides the best star gazing you could imagine. The grounds are beautiful and well-worth exploring. The indoor space offers a comfortable bed, great books, and a little kitchenette. It was perfect, cozy indoor space for two.
Go for hikes in the Chiricahua National Monument! You won’t see anything like it!
Harry and Barbara are the best! They are the kindest, most welcoming people in the world! They have great recommendations for sight seeing in the area as well! I hope we get to return soon!

Just what we needed for a quick overnight while visiting Bisbee. Roy was very nice, and got us settled in our site. Be aware there are a lot of barking dogs in close proximity. Not a problem in van/camper, but felt like it would have put my dogs on edge if we were in a tent.
Watch out for Google Maps. It recommended the southern route frolm Bisbee, which had a lot of dirt and gravel roads. Northern route is much easier and more straightforward.

Leroy greeted us with a warm smile. He was very informative, accommodating and so generous with his knowledge on Alpaca and this beautiful region. The site was clean and private.
We extended our stay a couple more days because it was so centrally located and we felt safe here.

We spend 12 days it was super convenient to walk to the store and restaurants, right behind us there was great dog walk plus well know bird watching sanctuary.
Outside showers are awesome idea ! Clean toilet and laundry makes for this rustic perfect place to camp with your rv.
Manager was very nice and helpful!
If you looking for place where you can do hiking , walking or gravel cycling right out of the camp this is for you !

Karla is an exemplary host, so helpful and available for all our questions. Hummingbird ranch has all the amenities we needed for our RV. Getting to visit the horses and donkeys was an added benefit. We were able to identify 14 species of birds in February with our Merlin app. We were the only visitors during our stay which made our stay even more memorable. Karla has gone above and beyond with her artistic landscaping throughout her property. We’ll definitely stay again and highly recommend Karla’s Hummingbird Ranch for RV’s or camping!
