Camp Travelhick is located off an easy on/off main road. A small private driveway leads to an automatic 20' wide secure, coded gate.
The camp has two level camping sites. Site 1 is a large 40x62 cement site that can accommodate larger campers/motorhomes with full hookups (electric, water, & sewer). Site 2 is a smaller packed gravel site which is 16x32 with electric and water. Both sites have 50/30/amp connections. For your convenience, there is an additional dump station on the property.
Our camping area offers a covered pavilion with two picnic tables, lighting, fans, and a charcoal grill. There is also has an outdoor fire pit for those cold nights or for s’mores! The camping area is about 1.3 acres fully fenced in so pet owners can allow their pets run around and have some secure space without having to worry about a leash.
Bring your ATV's or side by sides! The back side of the property has almost 50 acres of ATV and walking trails. 100 Beautiful acres, over 5 miles of walking trails, whether you considered stopping for a night or staying longer HCF loves our guest. Some stay over on the way to the beach or southern Florida and revisit on their way back home and even some end up staying for a couple of days when they are surprised at all there is to do. Please plan on visiting and check out all the great things to do so close. On our farm we grow Christmas Tress. Also there are green lanes and fields and if your lucky you can catch site or deer, turkeys, all sorts of birds maybe even a cute baby armadillo. In just over 45 minutes you can be playing on the beach in Panama City Beach, (world’s most beautiful beaches). Something a little different is just a few minutes away Falling Waters state park (Florida's tallest waterfall) and a swimming hole with walking trails. Speaking of swimming Ponce De Leon spring is big and beautiful clear blue hole spring to the west. Or go east to Mariana, about the same distance and you can visit Florida Caverns (Florida's only touring cave) with a beautiful spring with swimming, and hiking there too. We have guest also go to the Econina Springs and canoe rental and spend a day floating the beautiful Ecofina River with 8 springs to visit on a days float. There are many State parks so close. If you want to go out to eat or socialize a local brewery and restaurants are very close and beautiful Alabama too! We are super easy to visit if you are coming from the north out of Dothan are on Interstate 10 we are just Located 1.4 miles North of Interstate right on Hwy 231. Easy access to the interstate, fuel and shopping. The farm is gated with a remote controlled gate for security our RV site full hook up with 15, 30, and 50 amp connection, great clean water and sewer. So if you would enjoy visiting our beautiful getaway we would love to have you and we strive to show all our guest how much we appreciate them visiting. the old homestead was my Great Grandparents,

The old barn is now where most of the birds roost. The Greasy Skillet is now a big chicken coop.
during hurricane Michael a big tree uprooted and up-rooted the concrete slab with it.
What is now my home was my grandparent's house.
I renovated some of it and moved in after the loss of my grandma.
We are a WORKING FARM
You will see and hear all the farm sounds! You can pet the goats . You never know their might even be baby goat to hold and bottle feed. There are chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl, quail and turkeys galore. We now have Peacocks!!! We also have 4 BIG PIG that love ear scratches. We offer farm tours!!! There are livestock guardian dogs that protect the farm. They sleep lots during the day and patrol at night so they bark lots at night...
We are a REAL WORKING FARM. You can join in on morning feeding or collet eggs. You can watch or help with morning milking!
If you are real adventurous you can help around the farm!!!
You can pitch you tent in the pine forest or in the open area next to the ponds!
We make and sell homemade cheeses. Please check out our Farm Store !
We are conveniently located off of I-10 and hwy 231.
We have numerus Florida State Parks within minutes of our location!

We love the outdoors, so naturally, we love to camp. We were looking for a few properties that would allow us to get away and camp in a secluded area where we can enjoy nature.
We found this property, and with its proximity to Lake Eufaula and George Bagby State Park, we knew that it was a perfect location.
So now we want to make this property available for your enjoyment as well!

Come and enjoy the great outdoors at Lake Eufaula (Walter F. George Reservoir). With your private RV site being located next to the entrance to George Bagby State Park, you will have easy access to all the activities and amenities that the lake and park have to offer.
Whether you enjoy fishing, swimming, biking, kayaking, canoeing, wildlife viewing, a nature walk, or if you just want to relax by a fire at your campsite, there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors during your stay.
The Park has a really nice boat landing, which is less than 1/2 mile from our lot, so it is very convenient to launch your boat. It also has a marina that is only $10 per day if you want to leave your boat at the lake while you are there, or you can just tie it up at the park if you want to head back to your campsite for a break during the day. When you get back to the park with your catch you can make good use of the fish cleaning station as well.
There are also picnic tables, a playground, a really nice swimming area, large pavilions, a restaurant, tennis courts, and a golf course at the Park as well.
If you like wildlife viewing, you can take a walk or a bike ride on the paved bike path which is over 3 miles long. It is rare to walk or ride this path without seeing deer or other wildlife (refer to the pics section for more detail of the walking/bike path). We also see deer from our campsite, more often than not, when we are there.
Even though there are other residents on this drive, our lot backs up to a large wooded parcel of land and the lot next to this site is vacant, so you will have plenty of privacy during your stay. Our RV is on another site on this property, but we normally won't be there if the site is booked so that our guests will have the whole property to themselves. However, sometimes we have to come in on Friday evening to complete landscape maintenance on our other properties, if so, we will leave on Saturday afternoon.
This site has the following amenities: 1 acre of land with plenty of shade, a level gravel pad, and a fire pit. It also has a full hookup with electric, water, sewer, and free WIFI. We pay for garbage pickup as well, so there is a large can provided for your convenience (pickup is usually on Monday around 8 am).
This 1-acre site has more privacy than most campgrounds because there are no other campers 20' away and very few people live on this drive. The site has easy access, as it is just a short distance off of the paved entrance road to the park (refer to map in pics section for more detail on location). NOTE: Our site is not on the water, the pics of the lake are from areas within walking distance from our site.
When it comes to tent camping, we don't mind if you add a tent, but you must have an RV with a bathroom because there are no bathroom facilities on-site.
Can you picture yourself here for a relaxing time at the Lake during the day, or enjoying a campfire at night? If so, go ahead and book this RV site for a getaway while the dates are available!
Helpful Information:
If you need to shop, there is a Dollar General, Rubos Grocery, convenience stores (gas and bait), bulk ice machine with filtered drinking water, etc. in Fort Gaines which is only 3 miles away.
Also, there is an annual park pass available ($25 for seniors) that will allow you to visit any Georgia state park as many times as you would like throughout the year of purchase, which can be purchased at the lodge in Bagby.
Other parks and places to visit- Historic are of Fort Gaines 4 miles, East Bank Park 2.5 miles, Kolomoki Mounds State Park 17 miles, Providence Canyon State Park 37 miles, Yoholo Micco Trail 22 miles.
We also have a 2 bd/2bth mobile home on a 1-acre lot across the road that we rent out as a short-term rental. So if you need more room for family or friends, this may be an option for you.

Florala State Park is close enough to several major areas that you can come down here for a short-term getaway if need be, though campers are of course more than welcome. 100 Beautiful acres, over 5 miles of walking trails, whether you considered stopping for a night or staying longer HCF loves our guest. Some stay over on the way to the beach or southern Florida and revisit on their way back home and even some end up staying for a couple of days when they are surprised at all there is to do. Please plan on visiting and check out all the great things to do so close. On our farm we grow Christmas Tress. Also there are green lanes and fields and if your lucky you can catch site or deer, turkeys, all sorts of birds maybe even a cute baby armadillo. In just over 45 minutes you can be playing on the beach in Panama City Beach, (world’s most beautiful beaches). Something a little different is just a few minutes away Falling Waters state park (Florida's tallest waterfall) and a swimming hole with walking trails. Speaking of swimming Ponce De Leon spring is big and beautiful clear blue hole spring to the west. Or go east to Mariana, about the same distance and you can visit Florida Caverns (Florida's only touring cave) with a beautiful spring with swimming, and hiking there too. We have guest also go to the Econina Springs and canoe rental and spend a day floating the beautiful Ecofina River with 8 springs to visit on a days float. There are many State parks so close. If you want to go out to eat or socialize a local brewery and restaurants are very close and beautiful Alabama too! We are super easy to visit if you are coming from the north out of Dothan are on Interstate 10 we are just Located 1.4 miles North of Interstate right on Hwy 231. Easy access to the interstate, fuel and shopping. The farm is gated with a remote controlled gate for security our RV site full hook up with 15, 30, and 50 amp connection, great clean water and sewer. We love the outdoors, so naturally, we love to camp. We were looking for a few properties that would allow us to get away and camp in a secluded area where we can enjoy nature.
We found this property, and with its proximity to Lake Eufaula and George Bagby State Park, we knew that it was a perfect location.

Come and enjoy the great outdoors at Lake Eufaula (Walter F. George Reservoir). With your private RV site being located next to the entrance to George Bagby State Park, you will have easy access to all the activities and amenities that the lake and park have to offer.
Whether you enjoy fishing, swimming, biking, kayaking, canoeing, wildlife viewing, a nature walk, or if you just want to relax by a fire at your campsite, there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors during your stay.
The Park has a really nice boat landing, which is less than 1/2 mile from our lot, so it is very convenient to launch your boat. It also has a marina that is only $10 per day if you want to leave your boat at the lake while you are there, or you can just tie it up at the park if you want to head back to your campsite for a break during the day. When you get back to the park with your catch you can make good use of the fish cleaning station as well.
There are also picnic tables, a playground, a really nice swimming area, large pavilions, a restaurant, tennis courts, and a golf course at the Park as well.
If you like wildlife viewing, you can take a walk or a bike ride on the paved bike path which is over 3 miles long. It is rare to walk or ride this path without seeing deer or other wildlife (refer to the pics section for more detail of the walking/bike path). We also see deer from our campsite, more often than not, when we are there.
Even though there are other residents on this drive, our lot backs up to a large wooded parcel of land and the lot next to this site is vacant, so you will have plenty of privacy during your stay. Our RV is on another site on this property, but we normally won't be there if the site is booked so that our guests will have the whole property to themselves. However, sometimes we have to come in on Friday evening to complete landscape maintenance on our other properties, if so, we will leave on Saturday afternoon.
This site has the following amenities: 1 acre of land with plenty of shade, a level gravel pad, and a fire pit. It also has a full hookup with electric, water, sewer, and free WIFI. We pay for garbage pickup as well, so there is a large can provided for your convenience (pickup is usually on Monday around 8 am).
This 1-acre site has more privacy than most campgrounds because there are no other campers 20' away and very few people live on this drive. The site has easy access, as it is just a short distance off of the paved entrance road to the park (refer to map in pics section for more detail on location). NOTE: Our site is not on the water, the pics of the lake are from areas within walking distance from our site.
When it comes to tent camping, we don't mind if you add a tent, but you must have an RV with a bathroom because there are no bathroom facilities on-site.
Can you picture yourself here for a relaxing time at the Lake during the day, or enjoying a campfire at night? If so, go ahead and book this RV site for a getaway while the dates are available!
Helpful Information:
If you need to shop, there is a Dollar General, Rubos Grocery, convenience stores (gas and bait), bulk ice machine with filtered drinking water, etc. in Fort Gaines which is only 3 miles away.
Also, there is an annual park pass available ($25 for seniors) that will allow you to visit any Georgia state park as many times as you would like throughout the year of purchase, which can be purchased at the lodge in Bagby.
Other parks and places to visit- Historic are of Fort Gaines 4 miles, East Bank Park 2.5 miles, Kolomoki Mounds State Park 17 miles, Providence Canyon State Park 37 miles, Yoholo Micco Trail 22 miles.
We also have a 2 bd/2bth mobile home on a 1-acre lot across the road that we rent out as a short-term rental. So if you need more room for family or friends, this may be an option for you.

Weekend Trip to Glamping In Paradise
The site was absolutely beautiful and the yurt was very comfortable considering how hot and humid it was during our visit! We had to cut our trip a day short due to an emergency calling us back home, but we're actively looking for the next opportunity to stay here again.
My recommendation for future campers is to arrive during the daytime so you can more-easily spot the entrance to the site. Ronald's directions are perfectly clear and accurate, but, if you blink, you'll miss it!

I camped here earlier this summer and came back for another visit! Easy to get to. Beautiful area. We went to several springs and this was a great hub. It was close to Morrison, Cypress, Ponce de Leon, Vortex, and Ecofina. Can’t say enough good things about Ronald’s place. It’s always clean and well taken care of. He is a fantastic, responsive host. I will definitely return!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this site. It had everything that we needed and more. There are a couple of really large oak trees behind the sides that create the perfect amount of shade throughout the day. It sits back on a very quiet little road. We are plenty of deer like to roam. There is plenty of space to put our boat next to the driveway and then the boat ramp half a mile down the road was very convenient. I highly recommend the spot for anyone who wants to get out into the country.

We had an amazing stay glamping in the yurt! We traveled from Michigan and loved exploring the local area. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, even leaving us a bottle of wine and sparkling juice for the kids, which was such a thoughtful touch.
One thing we really appreciated was that firewood was provided and the yurt had so many basic essentials. It made packing so much easier because we didn't have to bring everything from home. The property is beautiful, especially all of the plants and greenery, and the outdoor shower was a unique and enjoyable feature.
We had a fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing glamping getaway!

The area was so much like the photos! What a laidback and beautiful property. The amenities were wonderful, and the nature all around is priceless.
Host was communicative and promptly answered all our inquiries. The area is private so we didn't see them during our stay but we felt the sense of hospitality in the details from the cards and guestbook. We have already started recommending this spot to our friends! Note: we arrived each night very late, and the road we entered through has little visibility, so just proceed with some caution and keep your eyes peeled!
