Camp Travelhick is located off an easy on/off main road. A small private driveway leads to an automatic 20' wide secure, coded gate.
The camp has two level camping sites. Site 1 is a large 40x62 cement site that can accommodate larger campers/motorhomes with full hookups (electric, water, & sewer). Site 2 is a smaller packed gravel site which is 16x32 with electric and water. Both sites have 50/30/amp connections. For your convenience, there is an additional dump station on the property.
Our camping area offers a covered pavilion with two picnic tables, lighting, fans, and a charcoal grill. There is also has an outdoor fire pit for those cold nights or for s’mores! The camping area is about 1.3 acres fully fenced in so pet owners can allow their pets run around and have some secure space without having to worry about a leash.
Bring your ATV's or side by sides! The back side of the property has almost 50 acres of ATV and walking trails. A spring fed private 1.5 acre stocked pond with a covered and lighted boat/fishing dock is also located on the property. Covered fishing dock has benches for getting out of the sun and relaxing.
Property is less than 15 minutes from a Walmart, Lake Eufaula, many chain/local restaurants, parks, and museums.
Property owner is not on site, but is just a phone call/text away.

We love the outdoors, so naturally, we love to camp. We were looking for a few properties that would allow us to get away and camp in a secluded area where we can enjoy nature.
We found this property, and with its proximity to Lake Eufaula and George Bagby State Park, we knew that it was a perfect location.

Come and enjoy the great outdoors at Lake Eufaula (Walter F. George Reservoir). With your private RV site being located next to the entrance to George Bagby State Park, you will have easy access to all the activities and amenities that the lake and park have to offer.
Whether you enjoy fishing, swimming, biking, kayaking, canoeing, wildlife viewing, a nature walk, or if you just want to relax by a fire at your campsite, there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors during your stay.
The Park has a really nice boat landing, which is less than 1/2 mile from our lot, so it is very convenient to launch your boat. It also has a marina that is only $10 per day if you want to leave your boat at the lake while you are there, or you can just tie it up at the park if you want to head back to your campsite for a break during the day. When you get back to the park with your catch you can make good use of the fish cleaning station as well.
There are also picnic tables, a playground, a really nice swimming area, large pavilions, a restaurant, tennis courts, and a golf course at the Park as well.
If you like wildlife viewing, you can take a walk or a bike ride on the paved bike path which is over 3 miles long. It is rare to walk or ride this path without seeing deer or other wildlife (refer to the pics section for more detail of the walking/bike path). We also see deer from our campsite, more often than not, when we are there.
Even though there are other residents on this drive, our lot backs up to a large wooded parcel of land and the lot next to this site is vacant, so you will have plenty of privacy during your stay. Our RV is on another site on this property, but we normally won't be there if the site is booked so that our guests will have the whole property to themselves. However, sometimes we have to come in on Friday evening to complete landscape maintenance on our other properties, if so, we will leave on Saturday afternoon.
This site has the following amenities: 1 acre of land with plenty of shade, a level gravel pad, and a fire pit. It also has a full hookup with electric, water, sewer, and free WIFI. We pay for garbage pickup as well, so there is a large can provided for your convenience (pickup is usually on Monday around 8 am).
This 1-acre site has more privacy than most campgrounds because there are no other campers 20' away and very few people live on this drive. The site has easy access, as it is just a short distance off of the paved entrance road to the park (refer to map in pics section for more detail on location). NOTE: Our site is not on the water, the pics of the lake are from areas within walking distance from our site.
When it comes to tent camping, we don't mind if you add a tent, but you must have an RV with a bathroom because there are no bathroom facilities on-site.
Can you picture yourself here for a relaxing time at the Lake during the day, or enjoying a campfire at night? If so, go ahead and book this RV site for a getaway while the dates are available!
Helpful Information:
If you need to shop, there is a Dollar General, Rubos Grocery, convenience stores (gas and bait), bulk ice machine with filtered drinking water, etc. in Fort Gaines which is only 3 miles away.
Also, there is an annual park pass available ($25 for seniors) that will allow you to visit any Georgia state park as many times as you would like throughout the year of purchase, which can be purchased at the lodge in Bagby.
Other parks and places to visit- Historic are of Fort Gaines 4 miles, East Bank Park 2.5 miles, Kolomoki Mounds State Park 17 miles, Providence Canyon State Park 37 miles, Yoholo Micco Trail 22 miles.
We also have a 2 bd/2bth mobile home on a 1-acre lot across the road that we rent out as a short-term rental. So if you need more room for family or friends, this may be an option for you.

100 Beautiful acres, over 5 miles of walking trails, whether you considered stopping for a night or staying longer HCF loves our guest. Some stay over on the way to the beach or southern Florida and revisit on their way back home and even some end up staying for a couple of days when they are surprised at all there is to do. Please plan on visiting and check out all the great things to do so close. On our farm we grow Christmas Tress. Also there are green lanes and fields and if your lucky you can catch site or deer, turkeys, all sorts of birds maybe even a cute baby armadillo. In just over 45 minutes you can be playing on the beach in Panama City Beach, (world’s most beautiful beaches). Something a little different is just a few minutes away Falling Waters state park (Florida's tallest waterfall) and a swimming hole with walking trails. Speaking of swimming Ponce De Leon spring is big and beautiful clear blue hole spring to the west. Or go east to Mariana, about the same distance and you can visit Florida Caverns (Florida's only touring cave) with a beautiful spring with swimming, and hiking there too. We have guest also go to the Econina Springs and canoe rental and spend a day floating the beautiful Ecofina River with 8 springs to visit on a days float. There are many State parks so close. If you want to go out to eat or socialize a local brewery and restaurants are very close and beautiful Alabama too! We are super easy to visit if you are coming from the north out of Dothan are on Interstate 10 we are just Located 1.4 miles North of Interstate right on Hwy 231. Easy access to the interstate, fuel and shopping. The farm is gated with a remote controlled gate for security our RV site full hook up with 15, 30, and 50 amp connection, great clean water and sewer. So if you would enjoy visiting our beautiful getaway we would love to have you and we strive to show all our guest how much we appreciate them visiting. Cypress Landing RV Park is a family-oriented, locally-owned RV park that sits on the shores of beautiful Gantt Lake in South Alabama. The lake is approximately 2,700 acres in size with 21 miles of shoreline. Water sports enthusiasts will enjoy skiing, swimming, jet-skiing, and boating on its waters, while fishermen will appreciate catching shell crackers, bream, and bass. During the winter, duck hunters can experience incredible hunts on the lake.
The park opened in April 2015 with 63 camp sites, 2 cabins, and a general store. The boat docks were completely redone in the fall of 2015. During that time, the boat ramp was also completed. Tent sites were added in the spring of 2016. We are planning on adding waterfront RV sites in the future.

I absolutely loved our stay, the accomodations where exactly what was advertised. The backyard is absolutely beautiful with lots of mature oaks and other shade trees. There is an area to barbecue with comfortable seating. There is also a fire pit and seating to enjoy the evening. There is a walkway down to the water as well as a private boat dock of jobs. There is also a restroom with a toilet and sink that is very conveniently located on the property for you to use. We will definitely be returning! Review 10 out of 10

Weekend Trip to Glamping In Paradise
We had the most amazing weekend! The entire set up was breathtaking and very romantic! The gardens and plants were beautiful and my absolute favorite part along with the outdoor shower because long hot showers were wanted at the end of our day.
We spent the full day Saturday with rented e-bikes tours Florida Caverns State Park and sightseeing the caverns.
Very impressed the hosts thought of everything we could have possibly needed and left nothing to run and get, we will definitely book again!

We loved our stay in the yurt! It was so cozy and had everything we needed from first aid kit, to snacks, and fire wood. Our dogs probably has the best time of all of us exploring the property and finding the creek. We rented a canoe and floated the river 30 minutes away (Cypress Springs) which I strongly recommend! Dollar general and the local market was just a 2 minute drive for any necessities but the campsite is tucked off away from the road.

Me and my girlfriend LOVED this place. Still had outdoorsy camping vibes with a cozy bed. Had an outdoor kitchen for cooking and had all the necessities for a charcoal grill and a camp fire. We had another great camping experience on David’s property. The property was well maintained as usual, which made the whole stay comfortable and stress-free. Everything was clean, organized, and clearly cared for.
One of my favorite parts of the trip was taking morning walks on the trails — they’re incredibly peaceful and a perfect way to start the day. It’s such a relaxing setting, especially if you’re looking to unwind and enjoy nature.
David is also a very responsive host, which makes planning and staying there even easier. He communicates quickly and makes sure everything runs smoothly.
I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet, well-kept place to camp!

One of my favorite parts of the trip was taking morning walks on the trails — they’re incredibly peaceful and a perfect way to start the day. It’s such a relaxing setting, especially if you’re looking to unwind and enjoy nature.
David is also a very responsive host, which makes planning and staying there even easier. He communicates quickly and makes sure everything runs smoothly.
I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet, well-kept place to camp!

We had a very nice stay here. It’s a rural area so it’s relatively quiet. I would suggest somehow addressing the multiple fire ant mounds and adding a trash can of some sort. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond.

What a beautiful property! This time I saw ducks at the lake! I also saw lots of seer tracks.
I have camped here many times but this was the first time I had to contact David with a question.
He responded immediately and was so kind.
Of course I look forward to our next visit.
