Fishing is allowed. Bull Creek also meanders lazily through the property. You will have access to go hiking and exploring. There are deer, turkey and other wildlife on the property. Beautiful remote location with complete privacy. Only an hour drive to Destin/ Ft. Walton Beach. Cypress Landing RV Park is a family-oriented, locally-owned RV park that sits on the shores of beautiful Gantt Lake in South Alabama. The lake is approximately 2,700 acres in size with 21 miles of shoreline. Water sports enthusiasts will enjoy skiing, swimming, jet-skiing, and boating on its waters, while fishermen will appreciate catching shell crackers, bream, and bass. You can swim, fish, float as much as you like, and explore as far as you can see. Just 5 minutes away, you can stroll through the quaint town of Florala, which offers antique stores and the beautiful Lake Jackson. You can also visit Destin with its white-sand beaches, PDL Springs, Vortex Springs, or Econfina, all within an hour's drive. The cabin sits at the back of our property. Snakes, alligators, and beavers have been spotted in and around the lake, so please stay alert while walking, swimming, or paddling. The lake is rain-fed, so during the dry winter months, the water level may drop significantly or even dry up completely. 4 nights at Glamping In Paradise

I camped here earlier this summer and came back for another visit! Easy to get to. Beautiful area. We went to several springs and this was a great hub. It was close to Morrison, Cypress, Ponce de Leon, Vortex, and Ecofina. Can’t say enough good things about Ronald’s place. It’s always clean and well taken care of. He is a fantastic, responsive host. I will definitely return!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay glamping in the yurt! We traveled from Michigan and loved exploring the local area. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, even leaving us a bottle of wine and sparkling juice for the kids, which was such a thoughtful touch. One thing we really appreciated was that firewood was provided and the yurt had so many basic essentials. It made packing so much easier because we didn't have to bring everything from home. The property is beautiful, especially all of the plants and greenery, and the outdoor shower was a unique and enjoyable feature. We had a fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing glamping getaway!

The lovely hosts were very nice and welcomed us right in. The land is beautiful, the farm is impressive. I am a bird person , so I enjoyed it. The camp site was shaded, private, it felt like there was no one else around. Wait there wasn’t. I didn’t hear one motor all night. Perfect

Absolutely gorgeous place they really thought of everything I believe! Ac is definitely a lil rockstar and the fan will blow you away no question about it you’ll be comfortable and cool with a great ambiance! The greenery during daylight hours and lit up under the moon it’s beautiful every time you see it! Wish we could have had more time! Will definitely return!

The area was so much like the photos! What a laidback and beautiful property. The amenities were wonderful, and the nature all around is priceless. Host was communicative and promptly answered all our inquiries. The area is private so we didn't see them during our stay but we felt the sense of hospitality in the details from the cards and guestbook. We have already started recommending this spot to our friends! Note: we arrived each night very late, and the road we entered through has little visibility, so just proceed with some caution and keep your eyes peeled! Thanks again and looking forward to our next visit.

This spot was beautiful, quiet, and a centralized location for trips to multiple springs. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. The outdoor kitchen was fantastic and the fire pit was perfect for hanging out at the end of the day. The outdoor shower was amazing! It was easy to find with the directions provided, and Ron was very responsive and quick to reply. Thank you for sharing this wonderful spot 🙂

Gateway Trails is the perfect little getaway! It’s small and family run, making it the perfect spot to kick back and enjoy the nature without feeling crowded. I’ve visited as a solo female camper a couple of times and never once felt unsafe or uncomfortable here. The setting is absolutely beautiful and remote, but there are still some restaurants and stores in the area with great selections. Jay and Suzette are so kind and helpful as well; I really can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Gateway Trails was an outstanding camping experience. The campground was clean, well-maintained, and had some of the nicest bathroom facilities I’ve seen while camping. The camp store was a huge bonus—stocked with just about everything you could need, whether you forgot a camping essential or just wanted a snack. One thing that really stood out was the welcoming atmosphere. There were games available both indoors and outdoors, making it easy to relax and have fun throughout the day. The open space around the campground was perfect for my dog, giving us plenty of room to walk, play, and enjoy the outdoors together. The combination of great amenities, clean facilities, and plenty of space made this a memorable stay. Gateway Trails has created a campground that feels both comfortable and connected to nature. I’ll definitely be returning and would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing camping getaway. Some campsites give you a place to stay. Gateway Trails gave me a place to unwind, make memories, and enjoy the simple things in life.

We had such an amazing stay! The property is so beautiful. We loved walking around the garden, sitting by the fire and grilling. They had a bunch of fresh herbs and fruits. The blue berries were my favorite. There is an outdoor shower and port a potty to use both very clean. We really loved the outdoor shower. We came to this area to visit the natural springs nearby. We went to Morrison and Ponce de Leon and they were beautiful and very close by. There is so much to do in the area making this a great spot. The owners are so so kind and welcoming. You can tell they put a lot of thought and care into the spot.

We had a great stop at Jay and Suzette’s place. Clear directions to the site, great layout. I did not have the correct converter for the hook up and they came right over to lend me one. The wash house was an amazing bonus!
