Location: 6 minutes from Dollar General 8 minutes from "Union" Public boat ramp on Lake Martin. 39 minutes from Jordan Hare Stadium. Description: The property is 75 feet wide and stretches 210 feet back from the road. Shaded with trees, flat, plenty of room for pitching a tent. The driveway clearing large enough for a car plus camper or RV. I don't have dimensions, but use the pictures of my Jeep for reference. For now, you must decide if your rig will fit. The driveway ground is hard, but there isn't any gravel on the drive yet, so be mindful of parking during rain or soggy conditions. There is a fire ring and a few chairs to enjoy socializing or plenty of trees to hang a hammock and relax. Basically a quiet place to relax, in an undeveloped neighborhood, and pretend you are in a backcountry tent site, 6 minutes from Dollar General :) War Eagle!

Our little town of Wetumpka is only 9 miles down the road. It's located right on the Coosa River, where you can kayak/canoe (coosariveradventures.com), launch your boat or fish year round at Gold State Park which also has a fantastic play area for kids with a nice walking trail that goes along the river. We are 9 miles from Lake Jordan and 11 miles from Lake Martin. Fort Toulouse National Historic Park is 25 minutes away. There you can tour over 6,000 years of history. It was very peaceful and quiet. Although the drive up was a little treacherous, once we were there, it was amazing. The bathrooms and showers were clean. Leigh met us at the house and explained the property and took us to our site. We have a 30ft class c motorhome. The spots are roomy, include electricity and water, a fire pit and picnic table. We took a short hike to the waterfall and enjoyed the quiet.

Weekend Trip to Camp in Camp Hill!

My wife and I were returning from a long trip to west Texas and stopped for a good rest at Emily's land- absolutely beautiful, peaceful spot with lots of solitude. Basically simply a large field with trees and a pond- perfect for us. Emily was delightful providing prompt and easy directions. Would love to come back again and spend some more time rather than just pass through!

Cute creekside campsite. It is near a road, so there is some road noise. Secluded, private and peaceful. Andrea left a cute welcome packet, and is right up the hill if you need anything.

fabulous!! the water here is so much more grand than we could’ve anticipated. the pond is so scenic and special. leigh was very accommodating, helpful and kind our whole stay. the heated showers and bathrooms were a quiet luxury on cold mornings and nights during our weekend. wonderful time, will be back!

Great spot with full hookups. As a solo female traveling with dogs I felt safe. Well located, Walmart is close by and Birmingham is about 25 miles away. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Great communication from both of them. Would definitely stay again if back in the area.
