Camping at Pondview Acres was an amazing experience. The property is peaceful, well-kept, and perfect for anyone wanting to unplug and enjoy nature. The pond views are beautiful, and the campsite felt safe, quiet, and spacious—great for tent camping.
Even though it was pretty cold at night, the overall experience was still a solid 10 out of 10. It was calm, relaxing, and exactly what I needed. If you’re looking for a low-stress, scenic camping spot in the Brundidge area, I highly recommend Pondview Acres. I would absolutely camp here again.

The trip was so pleasant, it was our first trip in hipcamp. The Site was clean and gave the feel of isolation, which was very nice. This site had WIFI and a potty. It also was very secure, with a gate at the road access.
The host was there to meet us at our request, they help get us started and settled in. Super nice folks, heck they even loaned us a couple of fishing poles to fish with, now that is above and beyond.

What a beautiful property! I had the whole place to myself for the week. Idyllic is certainly appropriate. And the owners were wonderful, kind folks.
If your a big rig just be careful, as the sites are on the side of a hill and it's all grass. If you have 4 wheel drive you'll be fine.

Lake City Campground is somewhat remote & quiet - just what my husband & I were looking for. The common area bathrooms & kitchen were clean & convenient. The proximity to Lake Jackson & a few other nearby areas of interest such as Finks Mill and Andalusia were an added bonus for this location. If you’re looking for no crowds but nearby activities, then this is an ideal campground.

PondviewAcres is a very beautiful spot. Quiet and serene place to listen to the birds and frogs serenade you as you take in the beauty of nature. Set on land that once was a farm that supported the surrounding community. On your way, you will drive through beautiful back country roads, passing heards of cattle, goats and other farm livestock. Rolling hills of hay and hardwood forests. Enjoy beautiful sunsets reflecting off the water sending rays dancing on your campsite. The hosts are very friendly and will help with any needs you have.
Unexpected storms were approaching and the camp hosts helped me tremendously as I quickly broke camp to get out from under the trees with my first time camp out with a teardrop camper. In the dark the host set my camper on high level ground while his wife assisted and walked with me across the grassy area, making sure I arrived safe!. You can camp off grid with a tent or teardrop or come with a small camper for water and electric. Either way you can enjoy a disconnect from the hustle of everyday life on this quiet pond and enjoy connection with nature while you sit by the fire.

Wow! What a peaceful gem. I stayed two nights the area for campers is very large and open next to a beautiful large pond. Sites have fire rings and the host provided the requested fire wood as agreed ahead while making the reservation. We were the only camper, so had the entire place to myself.
Night time was amazing, I wonder how many dialects the frog language has, they are all spoken around the pond!

This place is precious. Three separate ponds for swimming, and kayak and canoes are provided also! Fishing is a plus and they keep the ponds stocked! Great long gravel road with fields and views to walk from the sites to the ponds and community kitchen they provide. They also have the firewood for you! And WiFi. We stayed at the back RV site and camp in our truck. Has electric at the site but no sewer or water hookup for anyone needing those amenities. At the site is also an outhouse and we are usually backwood campers so it was an added plus. An outdoor shower is available but pretty far from the RV site at the community kitchen area and it was too cold for that during our stay. Speaking of community kitchen! They have anything you need there and you can even make some coffee! They have swings from the oak trees for your kids, and so much space for your furry family to play too. It’s 30 minutes from cloudland canyon and lots of good hikes. 10 minutes from a grocery store too for any campfire recipes you need. Long private drive so no fear of people coming into your camp or waking you up!
And the host is so sweet!
