Welcome to southern Santa Cruz County, home of some of the longest and most beautiful beaches in central California. We are located in La Selva Beach, an eight-minute walk to Manresa State Beach. We are a small, working farm with vegetable and flower gardens, chickens and bees. There are many excellent places nearby to hike, walk, surf, swim, tide pool or just sit and enjoy the view. We offer three campsites, two have fantastic, unobstructed views of the three hundred acres of strawberry fields that back up to our property. Our campsites provide water and electric hookups and are only appropriate for self-contained recreational vehicles and trailers. One of the sites has no size constraints on RVs or trailers. We have plenty of room for a second vehicle. We do offer a port-a potty, but not sinks or showers. We do not accommodate on the ground tent camping or in your car camping. The Valley View site is very quiet as it is farthest from the road, and is the most private. The Gateway site is near the road and does not have a view of the strawberry fields, but guests who are just looking for a quick stop over or base camp love it. The Strawberry and Surf site has no size restrictions and it backs up to San Andreas Rd. All site are walking distance to Manresa State Beach. We love to host guests and will provide information about things to do and see in our area. We often loan our State Parks pass so that you can venture out to Point Lobos, Wilder Ranch, Sunset Beach, Natural Bridges and more. Each camp site includes a fire pit and a generous wagon of wood. Two camp chairs and a picnic table are included as well. We also offer farm fresh eggs, baked goods and other treats (see our Extras). We are 15 minutes from the village of Capitola, 30 minutes from downtown Santa Cruz and 45 minutes to Monterey. There is a Dump station 5 minutes down the road at the KOA (for a fee).

Guests love this site! "What a great spot with amazing views. Quiet and close to the water!!" (Paul N.) This site is a mostly flat gravel pad and has a picnic table, fire pit and complimentary wagon of wood. Gorgeous views! Very quiet spot, farthest from the street. Short walk to a beautiful, beach that goes for miles. This is a back in or pull site for self-contained units only. There is plenty of room for a second vehicle. This site accommodates motorhomes, trailers, travel vans, pop up campers up to 35 feet. There is plenty of room to back in or pull in, turn around etc.. We do not accommodate tent or car camping. We do offer a porta potty on our property but not showers or sinks. There is a dump station down the road at the KOA (for fee). This site has a water hook up and an 20 amp power hook up. We have a loaner adaptor if needed. We offer complimentary firewood and fire pit. Campfires are subject to local fire conditions. We have three campsites on our property. They are about 30 yards apart and will be visible to each other, but you will not have a neighbor. Hosts live on the property. There are only a handful of RV accommodating campgrounds in Santa Cruz that are less than a ten-minute walk to the beach. This is a very peaceful place, and we look forward to sharing it with you! Please not that we are a working farm and during the day (after 9am and no later than 5pm), we may need to bring the tractor out. We try very hard to be accommodating to our guests peace and quiet! Early check-in and late check out available at no charge - please inquire though.

Berry Fantastic
Robin and Ray were great. We stayed at the Valley View site. Pretty view and very quiet. Robin Bright us fresh cookies! We rode our ebikes down to Aptos. Had drinks and food at Manuel's one day and Parrish public house the other. Both were excellent.

Good camping spot!
This was a great campsite for our one night. Road noise is minimal after dark and did not interrupt our sleep at all. (I'm a very light sleeper) The spot we stayed in was fairly level and easy to fine-tune in our class. B. The wagon of firewood and fire pit made for a lovely evening under the stars. Thanks, Robin!

Gateway and Walk to the Beach
Robin was a super host. Great site, everything is there and they even brought a little something for our children. They were so friendly and accommodating and also gave us information about California and tips for sightseeing.

Site served the purpose of being close to friends, and the host provided a wagon load of firewood for us to use. While close to the road, the noise was not an issue. The listing mentioned “walk to the beach” which is accurate distance-wise but we didn’t feel safe doing so along a 2 lane 45 mph road. We chose to drive the mile down and pay for parking. Overall a nice stay, just not as walkable as we had hoped.

Strawberry Surf Walk to the Beach
This was a nice spot in a great location for a few nights. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming. There are electric and water hookups with great views of the neighboring strawberry fields. We enjoyed the unlimited firewood and saw deer daily. The walk to Manresa State Beach really is an easy 8 minutes and we were a 15 minute drive from launching out paddle boards in Capitola. It is right next to a road and the hosts are transparent about it. The traffic and noise drop off at night.
