We enjoyed the site, and loved the views. We entered the area from Mt Madonna road side (this was dirt, ruted and bumpy). We departed via Summit road headed towards Highway 17, this route was much better.
We would go again!!

Directions were really good and made it easy to find the tent site. Really good views and convenient setup! Make sure to bring a canopy as there is not much shade when its hot

This place I had experience all bit of everything, OFF roading, views, secluded road, I had a really great time staying here, it’s as close as primitive camping as you can have. Really close to SF where I live and if you’re looking for just a quick quiet getaway, with all the great experience.. this is the spot.
