Rob was communicative and friendly and thought of everything. We were so grateful for the marshmallows and the coffee in the morning. He even set up a camp stove if we needed to cook and provided water and bug spray ready. The bed was very comfortable and the view was beautiful! I can't wait to come back. Thank you, Rob!

Rob was welcoming and greeted me with a short tour. The site was perfect for me, as a single traveler, and being able to take a walk in the nursery was relaxing. I appreciated waking up to coffee service.

We had an amazing time camping at Rob’s property! It’s so serene and has a gorgeous view and Rob was so kind and welcoming. It was very cozy and felt super safe. Would love to visit again!

Rob is an excellent host, and this little spot is perfect for a few nights. He offered to bring me coffee in the morning, but when I said I don't drink coffee, he asked if I'd like some hot water or tea instead. Feels like you are far away from civilization, but you can go out and get great tacos in minutes. Birds! I saw Black-headed Grossbeak, lots of Acorn Woodpeckers, Red Shouldered Hawk, a whole FAMILY of Osprey, and more. I have a hard time sleeping in new beds, but I found the bed in the tent to be super comfortable! Definitely some airplane noise during "work" hours, but not in the early morning or the evening.

Rob and Jackie are fabulous hosts! What an amazing view to wake up to. Their hospitality is top notch...a bottle of Pinot to welcome us and coffee in the morning! For glamping, all your needs are provided. There's a grill, fire pit, marshmallows and sticks to toast them on the fire. They even left us headlamps to use. We were a ten minute drive to the beach and to the woods. Can't beat it.

Rob’s property is truly a hidden gym! The view is unreal and all of the amenities are a nice bonus. He was an incredible host and went above and beyond to make sure that we had a good stay! I’d definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re planning on adventuring in the Santa Cruz area

Fantastic experience and amazingly kind host! Great directions, well thought out site and amenities. Rob went above and beyond to make our stay perfect for us and our toddler. Great bird watching and excellent views of the wetlands. Thoughtful touches galore - a bottle of wine for our arrival, toddler sized chair + headlamp, plus made to order French press coffee in the morning. If we find ourselves in the area again we will definitely return! Thank you Rob!

Exceeded expectations! I had a great experience camping on Rob’s land, The property is very peaceful, feels very private, but Rob is accommodating and on top of it if you need anything. Not only that but he provided me with coffee and breakfast in the morning. Great Host! The wall tent was very cozy, the fire pit was a huge bonus. Instructions and communication were very clear and would recommend to a friend any day. Thanks Rob!

What an incredible find!! This oasis is absolutely stunning and Rob is the king of hospitality. Feels like you're in the middle of the jungle or on safari somewhere on a luxury camping experience. What a beautiful place, would highly recommend.

The host Rob was absolutely amazing! It was my boyfriends birthday and I had planned a trip here after our dinner with his family. We came later in the evening and Rob still accommodated us, by showing us around, and telling us what we can use and how to use it! He had even surprised us with fruit tartes as a little "birthday treat" which was actually a super considerate and thoughtful. Overall a great stay and I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to the area or looking for a little getaway.

Everything about our stay was lovely and made extra special because of Rob. He went above and beyond and surprised us with wine and cake for my partners birthday. Additionally, he provided wood, fire starters and water which was so kind and thoughtful. Even though it was raining we still enjoyed our night. Only disclaimer was there were a couple raccoons after dark that kept hissing at us. They didn’t try to harm us but definitely wanted the food we were cooking on the fire. Otherwise, I would highly recommend for anyone to visit!!

Staying at the wetland overlook truly went above and beyond our expectations. While the site looked lovely in the photos it was even more breathtaking in person. Our host Rob was one of the kindest people I have met on Hipcamp and you can tell he puts a lot of love and effort into making sure your stay is comfortable. They were kind enough to provide electricity to charge up our e-bikes during our stay and went the extra mile to provide a hospitable experience for us. Easily one of my favorite camps ever that I've found on here and would highly recommend to a friend or anyone looking for accommodations in the Santa Cruz area. Rob is a terrific and friendly host, and I promise that your stay will be nothing short of magical.. Would be glad for the opportunity to camp here again some day !

I can’t say enough good things about our stay! Rob is such a nice guy, he welcomed us when we arrived, showed us around, how to use the heater in the tent and offered us coffee in the morning. He also provided firewood, bug spray, flashlights, wine and flowers, and pots and utensils for cooking on the little gas grill. The bed was super comfy too and we didn’t even need the extra blanket we brought along.
You enter the property through a private gate, Rob provided the code before we arrived, we felt very safe the whole time. There’s a porta potty to use near the front of his home where you park, the campsite is a short walk around to the back. The location couldn’t be better, it’s close enough to town if you want to pick up Thai takeout, but secluded and private at the same time. We loved the beautiful views, birds and bees everywhere, surprisingly no mosquitoes too, pictures just don’t do it justice. Rob warned us that a raccoon might stop by, he did get into the trash can at night but didn’t bother us at all.
We hope to come back again and snuggle the family dogs next time! Thank you so much Rob!

Rob’s glamping site was perfect. His thoughtful touches like headlamps, big spray/sunscreen, water for the campfire, etc. were absolutely wonderful. My kids and I enjoyed our stay!!

Had a great stay at Rob’s place, he was increasingly helpful and communicative throughout our interactions. I stayed here on my way up to Oregon while doing a solo-motorcycle ride, so this was a perfect fit. Would definitely stay here again.

We rented both sites together and it was perfect for four people. The common space was such a nice place to end the day and the tent site is great for sunbathing in the morning. Everything was really well thought out. Would recommend!

We loved camping here! The bed in the tent was super comfortable, the view was beautiful, and we enjoyed Rob’s new shower to wake up in the morning. The common space to eat and cook is also really well equipped and the fire pit is really well built. Thank you Rob!

Rob’s place was so beautiful and serene! Pictures truly don’t do the landscape justice. My favorite part was being able to watch the crows, hummingbirds, and woodpeckers flying above in the trees. It felt like a dream.
My friend and I wanted a quick getaway from the busy city life, and this place definitely did that for us. We were able to just sit and read, and watch the stars at night. Having the experience of a campfire was also amazing.
Other highlights were Rob’s hospitality. He had a grill, lemons, flashlights, water, bug spray, and portable heater for us to use. The wine was another great addition. And in the morning, he even took the time to offer coffee. Truly amazing hosts. And he offered us the privacy we wanted to just disconnect.

my boyfriend and I like to travel the coast and find camp spots somewhere close to it. This was the perfect spot and Rob was amazing. This is our new favorite spot to camp/glamp and we will definitely be returning. The property was absolutely gorgeous and even nicer then the photos. Rob was very kind and helpful. I mentioned it was my birthday weekend so he left us wine & cupcakes along with fire wood and fresh water !! Overall this was an amazing experience and I would recommend Tru Love Acres !!!

My friend and I stayed at the Glamping Wetlands Overlook about a week ago during our trip down the California coast and we loved it! Even though we arrived later in the evening, our host, Rob, was happy to assist us with our things and make sure we were taken care of. Firewood, flowers, and a bottle of wine were also provided, which made our stay extra special. Overall, it was a great experience. Thanks Rob!
