Description

Ash Creek Campground sits at a lower elevation than others in the region, so it opens earlier in the season than campgrounds in higher spots with more snow. Fishing is popular along Ash Creek, and there are superb fly fishing spots within walking distance of camp. You’ll need to navigate several miles of rough dirt roads to reach the campground, so leave your large trailer home this time. Red Tail Rim Trail is nearby, so you can explore Modoc National Forest by foot, horse, or bike!
