I would recommend Hangar O . Conveniently located. Beautifully kept grounds. Not crowded. The pool was amazing. Toilets super clean.

We enjoyed a lovely long weekend at Hangar O. The grassed sites were beautifully lush, level and recently mowed. The kids loved swimming in the pool and kayaking around the billabong. The toilet facilities were lovely and clean. There is one shower, but it’s really just for emergencies. So if we went back, we’d BYO shower. Lovely attentive hosts and we had a great weekend.

Darren and Sam were super friendly and accommodating. Hangar-O has everything you need and much much more for your camping getaway. We enjoyed the afternoon drinks and live music at the hangar and the kids loved the pool and open space to kick the footy!

hangar 0 is a fantastic place to stay. Sam and Darren are great hosts. Always there with a welcoming smile. Highway noise can be a bit loud of a night. Just drink more at the happy hour bar. Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely property just off highway but quiet
Plenty of space and privacy on good flat land. Good toilets on site and loved the bar. Highly recommend

Love Hanger 0 this is our second visit and will be back again
The grounds are beautiful manicured, toilets are clean, wide open space so your not on top of your neighbours and having your own fire pit is a bonus

The place was great! Plenty of space, coffee in the mornings and a beer in the afternoon. Bit cool for a swim but looked good too. There was some highway noise at night though.

We loved Hanger O & its open space
The grounds were immaculate & Toilets were clean
It was also great that the nearest neighbours were 50 meters away
Unfortunately we had to leave early as our solar was playing up, but will definitely be going back

Areas kept super clean and mowed. Facilities tidy and stocked. Heaps of space so not packed in like sardines 🙌 Bar area goes alright for a pre dinner hydration hour or two 🤣
Will be back for sure when hotter so we can use the pool area

Beautiful stay at Hangar-O! One of our favourite campsites and will definitely be back. My two young girls and our dog loved the secluded and private campsites but with all the wildlife and amenities you need and more. The owners were friendly and hospitable and the campground da very well kept and maintained - toilets always clean. Couldn’t ask for a better campsite - cannot wait to return and will recommend to others absolutely.

We had an amazing time here. The whole campsite was very clean and well-maintained. The toilets were spotless, which is always a big plus when camping!
The pool area was beautiful and so relaxing, perfect for cooling off and just enjoying the peaceful surroundings. One of the highlights was waking up in the morning to lots of kangaroos around the campsite — such a special experience, especially for our little one. There were cows nearby too, which added to the charm of the place.
It’s a huge area, so my son had plenty of space to run around and explore, which he absolutely loved.
After sharing some photos and videos on Facebook, I received so many messages from friends and family asking where it was — everyone said it looked amazing!
I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind in nature with the comforts of a clean and well-kept campsite. We will definitely be coming back! 🌿🦘🌄

Darren and Sam were very welcoming and accommodating. We loved the outdoor cinema, though will definitely bring wallet for some drinks next time. The camping areas are spacious with great, well- maintained amenities.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hanger O. It was our first adventure in our new Caravan so we needed somewhere that we could just get used to everything. The entire place was immaculate and absolutely perfect for us to do this. We relaxed amongst other like minded caravaners and campers and could not fault Hanger O. It was quite and private. A strong 10/10 from us. Thank you for a fantastic stay. We will be back for sure. Great hosts.

Easy to find with good instructions given. Conveniently located. Grounds and amenities very well maintained. Just a really easy relaxed place to chill out. And only just up the road from the new Gympie bypass so an easy drive from the south.

We loved stopping here for the night with our two dogs and caravan.
Toilets were nice and clean.
Coffee in the morning from the on site coffee shop was lovely.
Definitely recommend as a place to stay.

We enjoyed are time at Hangar0 very clean and well kept grounds . Even though the weather was not the best are grandchildren enjoyed playing in the beautiful pool rain & shine . A bit of a walk from the camping area to the pool so next time we will bring a trolley for younger kids . The bar & pop up coffee was a bonus . Easy friendly check in will be coming back .

We had the most lovely weekend away at Hangar O. The kids and us loved the pool and water slide. The camp sights were generously spaced out and the facilities were amazing. The toilets were super clean and nice. There was also a movie under the stars on Saturday but our kids were too pooped and alseep from a big day in the pool. We look forward to returning soon.

Stunning and well-maintained property with the option to camp or glamp. Toilets, fire pit, coffee, pool and BBQ facilities. I wish I had longer at Hangar O to enjoy the pool and facilities. We loved seeing the kangaroos around the property. Highly recommend for families or friend groups.

At HangarO guests are left to their own devices which we liked as we readied our van for the road.
The Hosts Darren and Sam checked in from time to time to make sure we were comfortable and had something interesting to talk about the property each time they came over.
The check in process is relaxed, their facilities are clean well placed and great for all travellers. The pool is a welcomed relief from the hot days. An absolute bonus is that HangarO is pet friendly.
We definitely recommend a stay here and would stay again.
