El Pais offers a unique camping experience with its funky retro vibe and friendly atmosphere. Guests rave about the vintage decor, clean facilities, and the added charm of movies by the pool and a vegan food truck. The community feel is enhanced by the welcoming hosts who provide thoughtful amenities like morning coffee and free-range eggs. While most reviews are glowing, some guests note the occasional noise from nearby roads and early risers.

If in Tucson in a camper or in need of a room, this is the place to stay. It is family owned and operated by a mother and daughter who are lovely and helpful. The place is absolutely full of charm and that old Route 66, mic century vibe that they have curated so well. We planned to stay in a camper but chose to upgrade to a room since they were so tastefully designed and comfortable. Beyond the room, the amenities are also excellent with a full kitchen to use, indoor and outdoor lounge areas, a swimming pool and a drive in style outdoor projector. We would absolutely recommend staying there to make your time not only comfortable but super memorable.

Friendly and helpful host. Quirky and clean. Gated. Never felt uneasy being solo female traveler. Highly recommend.
