Originally inhabited by Algonquin peoples the land was cleared for farming and they erected several building including a large German style hand hewn timber frame barn which still stands and is used today. The farm house was built in the 1910 and the original log cabins have been reframed into artistic buildings. It is wild to look around and imagine what life was like before now in a time when the land had no boundry lines and was traversed by indigenous peoples of this area. Hemlock Point Campground is set on a private waterway fed by the Black River, nestled among forests and rocky ridges. The river offers a unique swimhole in between rapids, and bass fishing within walking or paddling range. Campers may also park at owners (1426) to shorten the hike to the swimhole (see trail map). Each campsite is spacious with a private driveway, outhouse, picnic table, propane BBQ, bicycles, and more. As well as using the canoe (or kayaks at Brookside) provided, campers are also welcome to hike the marked and groomed waterfront hiking trails throughout the 56 acre property, and just down the road is Mt. Moriah, a Buddhist Temple, and numerous backcountry trails, reserves, and lakes. ATV's are permitted on the road, (gateway to trails to Lingham, Deer Rock, Caniff, and Skootamatta Lakes) and friendly dogs are welcome off leash. This is a unique gelogical landscape, situated between Mt. Moriah, the Elzevir pluton complex and the Black River in an ultramafic zone, with coloured quartz veins and pillowed granite outcroppings. Mixed forest with varied species of deciduous and conifer trees - due to aerial seeding after a forest fire over 80 years ago, leaving charred stumps that can still be found from natural char preservation. Home to pileated woodpeckers, hawks, eagles and kingfishers, otters, fishers, salamanders, bass and bullhead and everything in between, either from the vantage of a hammock or on a hike in the forest this natural site won't disappoint.

Located only 1 hour +/- to Ottawa or Kingston! This property provides great access to a secluded level campsite surrounded by mature hardwoods and white pine, overlooking Fagan Lake. There is an outhouse and firepit on-site, with firewood included (please don't bring your own firewood). Supplied Adirondack and other lawn chairs will really make your campfires special! Pets on leash are welcome. Tents, camper trailers and RVs up to 20 feet are welcome. This is a level pull-in site. There is a covered post-and-beam picnic shelter on site for rainy days. A supplied BBQ, a large kitchen prep table, and a small round dining table complete the "glamping" feel. There's always a full 18 litre jug of drinking water on site, although we recommend that you also bring your own water. Access to a secluded lake which is about 2.5 km x 0.5 km in size, and connected to Bennett Lake by the Fall River. The lake is rugged and remote - only 8 cottages on the whole lake. Swimming off the dock, or paddle over to the jumping rocks across the lake. Bring your canoe or kayak and explore the lake and wetlands. Or bring your mountain bikes and enjoy the backroads. This property is in the heart of Lanark County, with all amenities within a 20-minute drive. Lots of hiking trails nearby, and a nice sand beach at Silver Lake Provincial park 10 minutes away. We're not far from Murphy's Point and Sharbot Lake PP as well. If you like dark skies and quiet woods and going to bed listening to frogs and barred owls, or waking up with the woodland birds, this is the place. No artificial lights here, and you can see the Milky Way clearly on a dark night.

The east gate to Algonquin Provincial Park is a scenic 30-minute drive, while hiking trails suitable for all skill levels can be found closer at Lake St. Peter Provincial Park. The campsite includes a canoe, 3 paddles and 3 life jackets. THERE IS NO WATER ACCESS from the site, so all watercrafts must be transported by vehicle. Ratchet straps will be provided to secure the canoe to your roof racks. The spacious campsite has pull-through access for trailers, and space for up to 3 tents. The site is surrounded by a variety of tree and plant species while the quiet nights encourage visits from wildlife, including grouse, deer, moose, and turkeys. The campsite comes with a fire pit, picnic table and a small shed for storing lawn chairs and other items. Tucked at the back of the property sits a comfortable and clean outhouse that was newly renovated and restored in Spring 2024. Hand sanitizer, air fresheners, and ventilation ensure the outhouse stays fresh. Garbage removal will be provided. Unlimited water for cleaning purposes will also be provided. Guests must bring their own potable water. The campsite is 5 minutes from small-town Maynooth, which is known for its unique vintage shops and selection of art studios and galleries and 30 minutes from Bancroft, the Mineral Capital of Canada. While the site is not directly connected to any trails, a short stroll down the road leads to an access to Papineau Creek. Nearby old logging roads make for easy and accessible on-foot adventures. The Hastings Heritage trail is just down the highway. Whether you're looking for hiking trails, fishing holes, swimming spots, or places to adventure by watercraft, Campsite in the Pines has it all! Our micro brewery is located here because of our springs. The campsites are within walking distance to the brewery. The sites are in the forest with either a view of the pond, of Cartwrights Creek or of the Ottawa valley from a hillside. We have short hiking trails, some outdoor games such as horseshoes or beach volleyball, and we have beer. Contact Andre by texting the brewery number. FIRE: Andre will call for a permit every day. No fires before 6. Fires are too be supervised at all times and have a bucket of water nearby. Please leave the bucket upside down after your stay too reduce mosquito population. GARBAGE: Please collect garbage and bring it with you. We unfortunately cannot accept garbage at the brewery. The municipality limits us to one bag and we have animals that would love to rip through your garbage bag before I can get to it. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE GARBAGE HERE! FOOD... don't leave food out for animals to get overnight... If you don't have a car you can put your food in the silo by the brewery... animals can't get in there!

Very adorable campground/trailer park. Monica was helpful and friendly. We got site 50 which was right on the water and directly beside the beach so it allowed our kids to play at the park and we could be cooking on our site with a clear view of them. Nice swimming off the dock and everyone was very friendly. This was our second year there.

Beautiful place, loved the swimming area and beach. Great campsite for our pop up trailer. Everything was clean and nice. We rented canoes which was fun. Very nice place and experience.

This is a beautiful, clean, quiet park. Right on the water, the view was spectacular. Check in was very easy and the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend.

The weather wasn’t the best but we still had a great time. Our three Golden Retrievers had lots of fun swimming in the lake. Monica was super nice.

We really enjoyed the campsite and the overall park was great. From the trails to the dog park, fishing dock, beach area, and clean amenities, the park was well maintained and easy to get around. The host, Monica is fabulous! She is incredibly welcoming and very guest focused - we loved our trip so much that we are likely getting a seasonal site to enjoy the park all season long! The park is very dog friendly, which was a bonus for us and our furry family member. Highly recommend the park for its super homey atmosphere and hidden gems when you're out for an adventure!

We absolutely loved our stay. Tiny Woodland has it all and is super inclusive for families and pets. The weather was perfect for swimming and we enjoyed the beach and swimming area thoroughly. You can tell the love the staff puts into making sure you have a great experience (clean, beautiful landscaping). I loved the quiet evenings and watching the fireflies by the water. We will be coming back again!

We had a lovely site on the water where the breeze kept the mosquitoes away. Nice amenities and friendly people. No fires during the day was unexpected but there are plenty of activity options to keep you busy. Would no hesitate to return.

My sister and I went camping for the weekend at Tiny Village in Arden and had a great time! The directions were clear, we were welcomed very warmly by staff. They were so kind and accommodating. Would like to return next year :)

The sites are not huge but the view and convenience was nice .Site 50 which was one of ours was extremely wet and lower so a bit unfortunate for the family that had lots of mud .Rain was the order of the weekend and no one can help that . We felt like we could give it another try . Washrooms great and the trail was enjoyable. Monica is caring and makes an effort to make sure everyone knows what activities are going on . The beach would be great in nice weather and there are playgrounds and fun things to do.

Incredible place to camp with our small trailer! Had water and hydro hookup on site. Close to the dock and beach for swimming! We enjoyed our stay and will be back. Clean park with lovely staff.

Took my daughter here for the first time camping, when we got to the site I realized I needed an adapter for our electricity and Monica the host let us borrow one for our stay. There was a lot to do for my kid and everything was kept super clean!! Will be returning!!
