Welcome and thanks for visiting my listing:) Please note that this location is for 2 quiet adults only. No toilet facilities at property so bring your own camping toilet or self-contained RV. There's something that will make you breathe a little deeper being here. I looked at many properties before deciding on this one because "it just felt right". This flat terrain is rich in history. Pontiac Bay was fundamental in the logging era and held the local Trading post. The bay is nestled between Luskville and Norway Bay. As you drive here you will begin to feel a sense of calm within you as you glance out your right window to see the Gatineau Hills and to your left, you will see that you're winding your way along the Ottawa River. Or, if you decide to use the ferry crossing from Fitzroy Harbour on the Ontario side we're only 8 minutes from there. I have an old, but river-worthy canoe you may borrow but feel free to bring your own canoe, kayak, paddleboat or SUP to explore the land and inlets around the bay. You have access to my boat launch adjacent to the site so feel free to bring your boat. P.S. You might want to stop in the village for the best french fries in all of the Outaouais region. You'll see the big red chip truck across from Marcotte's, the gas station as you leave the ferry terminal, if you're coming from Fitzroy Harbour. And yes, they make pulled pork poutine, pogos, burgers and zucchini sticks. If you're here on the weekend you may also want to check out the Bristol Farmer's market every Saturday from Noon to 3pm on the public beach in Norway Bay, only 20 minutes away. It's a lovely quaint community mixed with old and new unique cottages so you'll definitely want to take a drive around. And you'll surely want to visit the Vineyard and Vintage Car Museum, a 2-minute drive from here if you enjoy wine and cars (but not at the same time lol...unless the keys AREN'T in the ignition ha!). Google Domaine de Pontiac Village for hours and more information or message me. Visit Parc des Chutes in Fort Coulonge for a view of the waterfalls, zip lining over the gorge and obstacle courses. (The view of the gorge is breathtaking!) Want to try whitewater rafting for an exhilarating rush? Try Esprit or Horizon X, both about 40 minutes north. Charming parcel of land tucked away
I was looking for a tranquil place by the water to look at the sunrise and the sunset while basking in contemplation during the day and found all of this while camping in my bell tent on Tina's land! The host is very friendly and made the experience even better. It is a lovely parcel of land with a fire pit, adorned with tiny white lights along a rock-laden walkway by the water. The lot features a magnificent sunset on the glistening water in the evening and sits under a star studded canopy at night. I really enjoyed my short stay!

First winter camping experience!
My wife and I went winter camping for the first time and we couldn’t have picked a better location and hostess. We had a lot of questions since we were driving up from the US and Tina was so responsive! The campsite was right on the water with great views. Tina made it a point to be present when we arrived so that she could greet us and to fill up our water tanks. I highly recommend this campsite and my wife and I will surely visit again during the warmer months.

Perfect view of the river with a great sunset. The land is close to Tina's house but still very private. It is a deadend street so very quiet. The indications to get to there is spot on and made it easy to find. Tina was also very accomodating when we arrived. Not so many things close by so you may want to make sure you have all you need before getting there otherwise, it will take you a good 40-60min round trip to go to a store.

Perfect spot on the water
The space was perfect - private and tucked away from the main home, but close enough to be social. Incredible waterfront views and access to canoe etc. Short drive to beautiful hiking spots. Tina was a lovely host and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting her and sharing stories by the water. She had great recommendations on hiking spots and local attractions. Highly recommend!!
