We booked from Germany for two nights, arrived in the afternoon, the sheets were not clean and smelled disgusting.
Furnitures were stained and full of dust and unusable. So we have to wash the sheets before going to bed.
The backyard was not maintained the outdoor furnitures were buried under the weeds and not usable.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It is very cozy and warm, spacious, and equipped with most of the essentials needed for a comfortable visit. The kitchen, in particular, is very well stocked, which made our stay easier. The location is also wonderful—being close to the lake allowed us to enjoy swimming and kayaking in the mornings, which was a highlight.
That said, there are some areas that could be improved. The cleanliness could be better—we found dirty plates and kitchen utensils, and the jacuzzi definitely needs attention. It had sand inside, a piece of a metal hanger, and its cover is deteriorating. The mattresses, pillows, and bed linens are also quite old and would benefit from being replaced, as the blanket felt rough on the skin. Additionally, there were no toiletries such as shampoo available in the shower.
Overall, we had a great stay and even wished we could have stayed longer. With a few updates and improvements in these areas, the experience could be even better.

Beautiful cabin, and was immaculately cleaned. Felt very cozy, and the host sent tons of great information prior to us checking in. The cabin is close to the nearby village, which we loved for some small items that we forgot. The fire pit was also great & we enjoyed roasting marshmallows over it. We would love to visit again, maybe with some friends, in the future!

An excellent and peaceful stay! The cabin was absolutely perfect, with everything we needed at our fingertips! We loved spending time in the quiet back yard, enjoyed the hot tub, and cannot describe the fun we had with the karaoke machine! My partner and I brought our two dogs and they enjoyed the cabin just as much as we did!

Cozy Log Cottage +Treehouse
We loved camping at Cozy Log Cottage in La Minerve, Quebec. Everything was in order and amenities were impeccable. The communication from the host & directions were great. The owners just seem to go the extra mile for their customers. It's a beautiful cottage for anyone who enjoys a scenic area, peace, and nature. It was nice to have a fully equipped kitchen.

Although it isn’t as secluded in the woods as we had thought, this was a lovely log cottage equipped with all you need and more. Very spacious interior with a very large window in the living room (where we saw some deer come come from the forest and eat breakfast) overlooking the camp fire area .

I had the pleasure of staying at this cabin with four friends and my dog, Gus. The overall experience was exceptional, and I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy and comfortable retreat.
It was evident that the owners take pride in their property and go to great lengths to maintain it. The interior was stunning with beautiful wood finishes throughout.
Another significant benefit of the cabin was its location. It was easy to find, and the surrounding area was gorgeous. We went for long walks and saw lots of deer, which was a highlight of the trip. Additionally, the cabin was nice and secluded.
As for activities, we spent most of our time cooking and doing puzzles. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to make delicious meals, and we were able to enjoy them around the large dining table. The cabin was well-stocked with games and puzzle for an off-screen weekend.
Overall, I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway near Montreal or Ottawa!
