Nice site, no complaints! It's simple and as described by the host. It was very convenient to stay on the way from Maine to Montreal, and peaceful enough to be a sound rest. Would gladly camp here again.

A peaceful and private grassy spot!
This place is quiet and feels nicely secluded. The dogs loved it! Just be aware that it can get muddy after rain—the host was kind enough to help us out when we got stuck with our Winnebago before leaving. Overall, it was a great stay!

C’était parfait!!
Bien isolé, sans voisins et assez reculé de la route. On entends un peu la route mais en bruit de fond seulement. Ça ne nous a pas empêché de dormir.
Le terrain est beau, bien aménagé. On a eu l’impression d’être seul au monde! On y retournerait sans hésitation!

It was great! Easy to find if you read the instructions. The site was well maintained and loved the gravel patch - made packing up the tent so much easier. Fire pit was also great. Site is exactly as advertised.

The space is excellent, at night we could listen to some coyotes so if you are not used to it, it will be better for you to prepare, it is not dangerous since they avoid contact with humans, the only thing I do not like at all was that almost all night I could hear a type of tractor working and also all kinds of cars and motorcycles passing through the road but if you are a deep sleep that will not be a problem.

Nice, quiet place not far from the road. 1A spot doesn't have that big noise coming from the road. Spot #2 is really close to the road and might be noisy.

We had to stay in the upper lot 2 because of the size of our trailer, but since we were alone we got to have our bonfires down at lot 1. Large open lot with great star watching. Loved walking in the woods with the dogs but kept them on lease in lot 2 because of the closeness to the road.

Easy to find and what we need for the night. Just be aware if it’s raining or has rained recently you’ll want 4wd/awd to get to site 1. There was a fair amount of mud.

L'emplacement du camping était bien, cependant, d'un côté personnel, ces point mont un peu dérangés :
1. très proche de la route (j'étais sur le site 1A), je me suis fait réveiller plusieurs fois dans la nuit
2. Le terrain n'est pas du tout nivelé, donc difficile de placer une tente (j'avais une tente 2 personnes)
3. Le bois pour le feu était pourri
Sur une note plus positive, la réservation fût facile, l'emplacement n'était pas difficile à trouver et j'ai tout de même passé un bon moment.

On a adoré, super tranquille et nos enfants ont même découvert un bébé salamande où quelque chose comme ça et une grenouille. Ils ont adoré cueillir des pommes. Le proprio A1 vraiment gentil et acceuillant.

For self-contained campers who aren't beginners. Site is a gravel driveway to a beautiful grassy clearing in the woods; took us a minute to find a level spot but we did. Don't miss the waterfall in the nearby town.
Was able to communicate reasonably well using Google Translate.

Simple but nice camp spot. Lots of spits these days have a lot of amenities, so much so that you don't feel that you're one with nature anymore. Vincent was a gracious host and accepted our scout troupe. The campsite is nice, green, natural, with enough spacw for activities. There's a good and safe fireplace that's available which allowed us to cook our dinner. Despite being here only for one night, it was a fun night, one with nature!

Nice private wooded campsite, a good plane to stop along the way but the signage could be larger for the. Campsites. We drive a 30’ RV and saw sign too late to make turn so had to turnaround and backtrack.

We had a bit of problems understanding where our campsite was but that was more our problem than the host's because he was super helpful and even took his time to drive over and help us make sure we were in the right spot.
Unfortunately we had to leave earlier than expected but the site was very quiet and perfect for a overnight stay.

Small sites close to route/highway.

Stayed one night at site 2, (in a large popup tent trailer) which is large enough for RV trailers and there is a turnaround area in front of it (that is the site in the photo with a campfire ring. The other 2 sites (1 and 1A) are much smaller and surrounded by trees with a narrow grass/soil path between them, and are best suited for tent camping. All of the 3 sites are directly exposed to traffic noise on route/hwy 139 (two lane secondary highway, fairly busy. 80 km/hr speed limit) since they are only 120 feet from the road. Was woken up a few times by motorcycles and dump trucks around 6 AM. Met the owner (at the adjacent orchard/verger at address 1535 route 139) and he was nice enough to show me where the sites were, as they have a separate entrance from route 139 from the orchard. I travelled northbound from Granby and pulled into the orchard which is at address 1535 route 139, and did not see the plantation sign.
TIP: The entrance to the campsites is marked with a small "plantation" sign at roadside (southbound only) and is about 500 feet to the south (towards Granby) from the orchard entrance. It is easy to turn into the orchard when northbound, and then turn around in their lot to go south to the campsites.
Suggestion for owner: add a plantation sign with a right arrow on your orchard property parking lot facing cars that turn around in your lot. Sugestion2: plant some cedar hedge between the campsite area and the highway road.

To note that campsite 1A and 1B really have absolutely no separation between the two; expect that if both are booked, you will be bunking with the other person/group 1 metre away.
Had booked 1B and didn't end up staying. The ground wasn't best prepped for a tent - a lot of rocks and long grass, and no good flat areas. The proximity to the other group as a solo traveller was not ideal - no privacy at all. 1A seemed to have a small spot for a tent but as stated, it was booked. The set up with firepit and table was a nice to have had I stayed, however.
Overall, the area is a lot more isolated than expected. You're not on the Orchard; you're off the main road in a small somewhat clearing. Anyone with trailers might have a hard time getting down to 1A and B especially if theres already someone there - you have to go down quite a slope. Okay for a quick stop along the way if you have the setup though.

This hipcamp was so great that we booked it a second time on our return trip through Quebec. Beautiful campsite in nature and surrounded by majestic trees. Quiet and safe. We were on a tight schedule so we didn't have time to explore the surrounding area, but we hope to return one day and take advantage of this picturesque area and all it has to offer.
