Hike Mount Orford, Mount Pinnacle in Barnston or the Coaticook Gorge, spend the day at the beach- Lakes Lister, Massawippi and Memphremagog are nearby or cross the border into Vermont and swim in the clear waters of lake Willoughby. There is also golf at Dufferin heights, cycling paths, shopping and quaint villages to explore. I would be delighted to help you plan some activities to make the most of your visit. A recently planted, fenced in food forest with picnic tables is the perfect place to watch the sunset as you let your dogs run free, while trails in the forest allow you the opportunity to explore the forested area by the river. A fire pit, two picnic tables with umbrellas, four Adirondak chairs, washrooms offer additional amenities to enjoy your stay. Please note that though I only accept 1 group of campers per visit so you can enjoy your intimacy in the evenings with your friends and family, you will not have exclusive use of the food forest during the day as I may need to attend to my trees for weeding, harvesting or other. Most guests leave at some point for an outing so schedules can easily be coordinated. Extras include: a $5 per pet extra charge, $5 hot coffee morning service, and $10 local maple syrup. Please note that the base rental price includes 2 people so any more (for a maximum of 6) are charged $10 per person.

We had an unusual stay because of staying so late in the season--we got to be the only people staying here! Which is always our favorite because we are always trying to get away from the crowd. Domaine generously allowed us to use the facilities in one of the chalet as the group water use area was shut off for the season. We were quite comfortable in our travel trailer as a result. We would love to try the community kitchen next time because there will be a next time! Also, super bonus are the walking/atv trails that lead out into the wilderness from the camp. We had a great time camping on Cynthia’s land! She was very accommodating and kind. Electricity, water and firewood was available at the site. Although we loved the campsite, we were a party of 5 and each site is narrow with the next site right beside, thankfully there were no other campers in the site next to us because we wouldn’t have had enough space if there were. For a party of 2, or maybe even 4, the spot would be perfect! Or if you were fortunate like us to have an empty site beside yours. There were, however, other campers 2 lots over and they were playing music, as were we, and we didn’t interfere with each other. That is to say, noise traveling is not an issue and campers can be comfortable in their site without bothering others. Thank you for having us, we would definitely come back!

Loved this site! Incredibly picturesque, very family-friendly, plus our toddler (and we!) loved walking around the farm in the morning and meeting the sheep, donkey, pigs, and the farm dog, Whiskey. It was beautiful in fall just after the harvest, and we bought some mutton before heading out- best we've ever had. Would love to stay here again if we are in the area.

Unfortunately, we can't be there to welcome you, but feel free to feel like home. /The Property You will enjoy an open field with views to the sea. The front area of the house is suitable for bigger RVs. The back site is suitable for smaller RV +/- 20ft. or so. Note that the campsite is not near the water. The part of land is our neighbor's but we have foot access to it. /The Campsite The site is ideal for all camping types. For tenters, there is a flat grassy area. RVs of any size are welcome in the front, it is a back-in site with some leveling required. As mentioned above, good maneuvering skills are required to get access to the back. There is a electrical/water hookup and generators are welcome. There is WIFI available. Pets on leash are welcome. Fires are permitted (when there are no fire bans in effect). Please note, there are no restroom facilities available on site, but there are bathrooms in the "halte routière" next door. Please bring your trash with you as there's no trash on the premises.
