We are a pet friendly campground and there is free wifi and hot showers. The campground is 4 minutes drive from The National Park where you can enjoy beautiful beaches like Brackley and Stanhope. The trail of the famous Island Walk is less than a km away as well as the path of the Confederation Trail. We are few kilometres from the beautiful picturesque town North Rustico and a 17 min drive to Cavendish, famous for their Music Festivals. Also - the island has mosquitos so please bring bug spray. WIFI is available at the store. Please no generators from 10pm-8am (some exceptions may apply). To find us Google maps sometimes does not like wood Islands as our city so please use Belle River. About 50m just west of our main entrance to the farm and store, you will see a farm road that is marked with "1167 FARM" address sign. Please use that road to come in and just after the little wooded section it will open up and you will see a picnic table to your right. You can park in there. If you need help with anything, just call my cell phone 902-326-1015 Please note that there could be another camper if booked, so please park accordingly. Store is located in the small white barn next to the white house. The black building nearest the camp area is my parents house - not the store, so plesae do not walk in there. ;) lol **Google road and satellite photos are very old

We stayed there for 2 nights as a base camp for cycling, The area is wonderful. Unfortunately, we did not have much time to enjoy the two very private beaches. It felt strange to pass on somebody land to access the beach. However, we did chat with the owner, she was very nice and had no issues. If we go back to PEI, we will definitely consider to go back to this site.

Endroit très tranquille pour camper. Il faut savoir que le site pour camper est davantage dans la forêt et est sur un terrain privé, là où se trouve un bâtiment habité. Malgré cela, le site pour camper est intime. Il faut marcher un peu et passer là où se trouve le bâtiment habité pour se rendre sur la plage. Nous avons vu plusieurs lièvres. Très amusant pour les enfants.

We absolutely loved camping at Summer Winds with our tent trailer! The beach and the pool were great and clean, as well as exceptionally clean spacious bathrooms. We were greeted on arrival with a friendly welcome who answered all our questions. Such a lovely calm atmosphere, we will surely be back next year.
